Campus words of “National Institute of Technology,Fukui College”
This study reports the findings of the campus words that intended for a fourth grader registered at National Institute of Technology ,Fukui College. I thought about words peculiar to Fukui College as the campus speech that was the subdivision of youth words and about the words peculiar to Fukui College that a student used (or he knows it), analyzed it from the viewpoint of “things” and “persons”. As a result, there was the negative evaluation word peculiar to youth words at both points
of view. The expressions were arranged by the thing which the person who saw and heard the words spilled a smile on unintentionally. A characteristic that gentleness and uniqueness of the Fukui College students were felt appeared
A Study ori Ffficiency of Safety Facilities in Fukui Prefecture
All over the country, the reduction of traffic accidents
which continued since ten years ago is diminishing today. To get
countermeasures aqainst accidents to be more effective, this
study aims at evaluating the effectiveness of countermeasures,
and it is researched that:
(1) the characteristics of the traffic accidents and
the countermeasures for them in Fukui Pref.
and:
(2) the effectiveness of traffic sianals and side walks
at the each route in Fukui.
As the result of this study,it is shown that Fukui Pref.
is behind in the establishment of side walks and although
traffic signals are effective at almost every route, the
effectiveness of side walks cannot be observed at close upon
half of the routes

Regarding the Relation between the Western Margin of the Fukui Plain and the Sabae Fault
The Fukui Earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.1, occurred on June 28, 1948. This earthquake occurred at the eastern margin of the Fukui Plain. The major active fault, named Fukui Heiya Touen Dansoutai, is present in this area. However, a clear indication of an active fault does not exist at the western margin of the Fukui Plain. We investigated the possibility of an active fault. As a result, we concluded that the Sabae Fault may be connected to the western margin of the Fukui Plain
Observation of Seisimic Waves in the Fukui Plain
A large erthquake, the Fukui Earthquake with M7.1, occurred on June 28, 1948. The earthquake fault was baried under the thick accumulation of the Fukui Plain. The position of earthquake fault was not entirely clear because of the thick accumulation. The relation between the main fault and the earthquake fault in the eastern margin of the Fukui Plain has not been investigated in detail. We will
study the structure around the earthquake fault by using waveform recoerdings from the temporal staion at the high school
