    Women\u27s Labor in Fukui Prefecture

    本稿では福井県における女性労働の実態と意識についてマクロ・ミクロデータ、インタビューを使用して検討した。通常、男性に向けられがちな「働かなければならない」という社会的プレッシャーが、福井県では子育て世代の女性に対しても強く、家事負担を(義理)母親に分担してもらうことで仕事を持つことを可能にしていることが示唆された。しかし、学歴や収入をコントロールしても女性であることが仕事のやりがいを有意に高め、社会的プレッシャーから女性たちが嫌々仕事をしているのではなく、仕事にやりがいを持つ者が多いことも明らかとなった。一方、女性労働力率の高い福井県でも男性の家事負担割合は低く、家事負担が高まると仕事へのやりがいにマイナスの影響を与えている。1990年代以降、福井県の女性労働力率の低下傾向は全国に比べて大きく、その差は縮小傾向にある。福井県でも、仕事、家事・育児、地域活動等の役割分担意識を見直し、一人一人のワークライフバランスを保てるようにすることが、新たな女性労働を支える基盤となりうる。This paper discusses about women\u27s labor in Fukui Prefecture which is well-known for the highest women\u27s labor participation rate in Japan. This study was conducted using macro/micro data and some interviews for Fukui prefecture residents. In Japan, there is usually the pressure for working to make money for men. In Fukui prefecture, however, there is same pressure for mothers with small children as well. They can work due to their mothers (in-law) take some housework share. One of main findings of this study is women are more satisfied with their job than men in Fukui prefecture. Though women\u27s participate rate is high, the shared housework of their partner remains low. The higher women take housework share, the lower they satisfy their jobs. To reduce gender division of work, childrearing and local activity, which make women and men to find a suitable balance between work and daily living, is the social infrastructure for encouraging women\u27s labor participation.特集 福井県における生活保障のガバナン

    Estimation of Heavy Flood Discharge on Fukui Rainfall Disaster 2004 and Some Recommendations on Flood Control Planning for small scale catchments

    平成16 年7 月18 日,福井県の足羽川流域において既往最大となる洪水が発生し,福井市街地で足羽川の堤防が決壊する他,流域全体で甚大な洪水災害が発生した。治水計画を考える場合,ある確率規模の計画降雨を定めて基本高水を算定することが計画の基本とされている。しかし,中小河川ではその算定の元となる水文データの蓄積が十分でなく,特に平成16 年7 月洪水のような計画規模を上回る洪水データはモデル同定時にはほとんど利用できない。本研究では,流量規模の異なる既存の洪水から同定したモデルを用いて,今回の洪水をどの程度再現することができるかを分析する。また,ここで得られた流量の推定結果および福井豪雨時の水文データをもとに福井豪雨から得られた教訓を示し,中小河川流域における治水計画に関して考察する。On July 18, 2004, the largest flood since hydrologic observation has begun happened at the Asuwa River basin in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. The Bai-u front brought heavy rainfall with 265mm in six hours. The city area of Fukui was heavily inundated due to by dyke breaks along the Asuwa River; the upper parts of the Asuwa River basin were severely damaged by flood and sediment disaster. When planning flood control in Japan, to estimate the design flood using a rainfall-runoff model with a design rainfall having some exceedence probability is fundamental. While the acculturation of hydrologic data to estimate a design flood is quite insufficient especially in small scale basins. In particular, information of quite large floods near or above the magnitude of a design flood is less available. In this study, how well the heavy flood in 2004 is predicted using a state of the art distributed rainfall-runoff model.     There are great needs at present for the improvement of the eccentric knitting mechanisms in the tricot machine in which difficul ties are being found in the high speed running because of the strong vibration and the inertia forces that are actuated by the clearances and the weights of the followers and cams. The author, according, tried to get rid of the present difficulty and calculated the magnitudes and the directions of the acceleration of the eccentric by the analytical and graphical method using the determinant and complex variable equations
