Chao Yuen Ren (1892–1982)
Y. R. Chao is easily the most famous linguist to have come out of China. Born before the end of the last dynasty in China, he received a traditional Confucian education, but was also one of the first Chinese people to be sent to the West for training in modern Western science (under the Boxer Indemnity Fund). The remarkable breadth and scope of his studies included physics, mathematics, linguistics, musical and literary composition, and translation, and he was a pioneer in many of these fields
Xu Fu-Yuan's Life Feelings during the Transitional Period between the Ming and Qing Dynasty
Xu Fu-Yuan (\ue5\ube\ue5\uad\ue9\ua0) was a famous writer in the late Ming Dynasty (\ue6\ue5\uad\ua3)\uef\ubcand started Ji Club (\ue5\ub9\ube\ue7\ua4\ube) with Chen Zi-long (\ue9\ub3\ue5\uad\ue9\ube) and Xia Yun-yi (\ue5\ua4\ue5\ue5\ubd). When the Ming (\ue6) government was overthrown by the Qing (\ue6\ub8)government .he chose to forsake his family to overturn the Qing (\ue6\ub8) government and then experienced several emperors of Nan Ming dynasties (\ue5\ue6). The poems written during he left the hometown to overturn the Qing (\ue6\ub8) government in\ue2 Diao-Huang-Tang Manuscripts\ue2
(\ue3\ue9\ua3\ue7\ue5\ua0\ue5\uad\ue7\ua8\ubf\ue3)and\ue2 Jiao-Xing Manuscripts\ue2(\ue3\ue4\uba\ua4\ue8\ua1\ue6\ue7\ua8\ubf\ue3)total early2800.People
could hardly get the Diao-Huang-Tang Manuscripts(\ue3\ue9\ua3\ue7\ue5\ua0\ue5\uad\ue7\ua8\ubf\ue3)so the critics and researches in the Ming literature are very poor, and there are some questions must be settled in the Taiwan literature. Therefore, the study is on the two books to explore his life feelings during the Ming (\ue6) and Qing (\ue6\ub8).
The subjects of this study comprises the life and writings of Xu Fu-yuan, social association, self-identification, feelings, ocean writing, and Taiwan writing. By researching in depth on Xu Fu-Yuan (\ue5\ube\ue5\uad\ue9\ua0) and his poems, we discover something .For example, first, we confirm he went to Jiao Nan (\ue4\uba\ua4\ue5) in February ,12th year of Yong-li (\ue6\ub0\ub8\ue6). Second, we get Xu Fu-Yuan\ue2s (\ue5\ube\ue5\uad\ue9\ua0) friends in his poems more than 140.It not only helps us to understand him more but fill the records in Nan Ming dynasty. Third, his ocean writings have plenty of subjects and varied images. Fourth, according to\ue2 Diao-Huang-Tang Manuscripts\ue2(\ue3\ue9\ua3\ue7\ue5\ua0\ue5\uad\ue7\ua8\ubf\ue3), he came to Taiwan with his wife and his childe to reclaim lands in 1rt year of Kangxi (\ue5\uba\ub7\ue7). In addition, the poem \ue2peach blossom\ue2 (\ue3\ue6\ua1\ue8\ub1\ue3) and \ue2mourn for Zhang Gong-SHi\ue2aren\ue2t written in Taiwan.
Generally speaking, Xu Fu-Yuan (\ue5\ube\ue5\uad\ue9\ua0) has an extremely important historical value in Taiwan literature ,Chinese literature

Space charge behavior in multi-layer oil-paper insulation under different DC voltages and temperatures
Oil-paper as a reliable insulation system is widely used in power transformers and cables. The dielectric properties of oil-paper insulation play an important role in the reliable operation of power equipment. However, the formation and dynamics of space charge can affect the performance of insulation material. In this paper, space charge in oil-paper insulation system has been investigated using the pulsed electroacoustic (PEA) technique. A series of measurements were carried out when the insulation system was subjected to different applied voltages at different temperatures. Charge behavior in the insulation system has been analyzed and the influence of temperature on charge dynamics was discussed. The test results show that homocharge injection takes place under all the test conditions, the applied dc voltage mainly effect the amount of space charge, while the temperature has greater influence on the distribution and mobility of space charge inside oil-paper sample
