Pseudoconvex domains: Diederich - Fornaess index and the invariant metrics near the boundary points
No full textThis Thesis deals with some problems related to the pseudoconvex domain.
The first chapter presents some results on the theory on plurisubharmonic defining function. From the relation of the Diederich - Fornaess index with the estimate for \bar\partial - Neumann operator on the pseudoconvex domain, the author generalize the results by finding the index and its applications on general q-pseudoconvex domains.
The second part of the thesis is studying the invariant metrics, more precise, the Kobayashi metric, near infinite boundary points. Diederich and Fornaess on showed us how fast the Kobayashi metric of a point go to infinity when it comes near the boundary of a pseudoconvex domain that has real analytic boundary. Remove that cruel assumption, the author prove the result in more general class domains. From the estimate for the Kobayashi metric, there is a proper holomorphic mapping theorem and have a Holder estimate for it

No full textThe article is devoted to the analysis of space in the project “DAU”, directed by Ilya Khrzhanovsky in cooperation with Yekaterina Oertel, Alexei Slyusarchuk and Ilya Permakov, among others. Feature and documentary films that make up the project were shot in the years 2009–2012, mainly in Kharkiv, in a closed scientific institute, which was built exclusively for this purpose. The aim of the article is to examine selected spatial solutions in the project, to contextualize them, and, consequently, to link the film architecture with the behavioral sphere and the corporeality of the characters. The methodological tool, supporting the research of the text is the category of the underground, embedded in the work Notes from the Underground by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. In the process of interpretation, the author draws attention to the connections between the mechanisms of oppression functioning in the totalitarian system and the symbolic language of the body and architecture

BETWEEN FICTION AND TRADITION: THE CONFIGURATION OF CULTURE AS A SPACE OF MEMORY IN "RECLUSOS DO TEMPO", BY ALEX DAU
No full textEste texto assenta-se em fazer um estudo sobre a configuração da cultura como espaço de memória, procurando problematizar como se processa a imbricação entre a ficção e a tradição na obra Reclusos do Tempo (2017), do escritor moçambicano Alex Dau. Com base em pressupostos da teoria decolonial, esta pesquisa visa interpretar as imagens e os aspectos fundamentais ínsitos nos contos de Alex Dau, a partir das marcas de moçambicanidade, mostrando até que ponto, com base em temáticas de cariz social e cultural, a narrativa Reclusos do Tempo espelha valores estéticos que configuram o imaginário cultural de Moçambique. Com recurso ao metodo bibliográfico, concebemos a base teórica que sustenta a análise literária encetada, porquanto foi possível demonstrar, por conseguinte, os elementos simbólicos de que o autor se serve para a expressão da identidade moçambicana.
Palavras-chave: Imaginário cultural; Espaço de memória; Tradição; Moçambicanidade.This text is based on a study on the configuration of culture as a space of memory, seeking to problematize how the imbrication between fiction and tradition is processed in the work “Reclusos do Tempo” (2017), by the Mozambican writer Alex Dau. Based on presuppositions of the decolonial theory, this research aims to interpret the images and the fundamental aspects in the tales of Alex Dau, from the markings of Mozambicanity, showing to what extent, based on social and cultural themes, the narrative “Reclusos do Tempo” mirrors aesthetic values that shape the cultural imaginary of Mozambique. Using the bibliographic method, we designed the theoretical basis that supports the literary analysis undertaken, as it was possible to demonstrate, therefore, the symbolic elements that the author uses for the expression of Mozambican identity.

BWalk is an educational tourism object in Malang Regency, which combines the concepts of hotel, food court, educational facilities, sports and entertainment. As the author explains in his book entitled Practical Administration and Front Office Work Procedures that the front office must provide excellent service that not only gives satisfaction and attention to customers but how and how to find out what customers want, so that it can give a positive impression and value from customers. The purpose of this study was to determine 1) The Effect of Work Systems on the Front Office Department on Guest Satisfaction, 2) The Effect of Service Quality on the Front Office Department on Guest Satisfaction, 3) The Effect of Work Systems and Service Quality on the Front Office Department on Guest Satisfaction at BWalk Hotels , Dau, Malang. This type of research is a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at BWalk hotel guests, Dau Malang. The sampling method used in this study is the method / technique of determining the sample based on chance meeting at the front office when guests check out and are willing to fill out the questionnaire. The total population of this study is 50 guests / customers who stay at BWalk. The results of this study indicate that 1) Work System has no significant effect on Guest Satisfaction, 2) Service Quality has a significant effect on Guest Satisfaction, 3) Work System and Service Quality have a significant effect Together on Guest Satisfaction at BWalk Hotel, Dau, Malang.
