In this new trans-disciplinary work artificial borders between various sciences—psychology, geography, sociology, anthropology, history, ad folklore—vanish. No full textLo studio della corrispondenza di Franco Margola (1908-1992) compresa nella collezione digitale dell’Archivio Storico Ricordi di Milano costituisce l’oggetto di questo saggio. Le lettere, risalenti agli anni Quaranta e Cinquanta, consentono di mettere in luce i rapporti tra uno dei protagonisti della vita musicale italiana del Novecento e la storica casa editrice, a partire dai difficili anni del disastro postbellico. Esse testimoniano i vari tentativi del compositore di far pubblicare alcune sue opere; Ricordi, infatti, fu fra gli editori che diedero alle stampe i suoi lavori. Tra i titoli che costituiscono l’oggetto delle missive vi è il Concerto per pianoforte e orchestra in do diesis minore op. 30, dedicato ad Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, che ne fu il primo interprete nel 1944 al Teatro Comunale di Firenze. Attraverso la riscoperta di documenti finora inediti, la ricerca fa luce su un aspetto non ancora indagato della biografia e della carriera di Margola

on Springer annual report, since 2020, the journal has doubled the number of articles
accepted for publication. Also, the number of accesses to the full texts of published
articles increased by almost three times. The journal has also seen an increasing
diversity in terms of geographic regions for both the submissions received and
the accesses, with author and readers from all the continents. This is the result of the
collective efforts of our associate editors, along with the Brazilian Society of Psychology and the Springer Team

No full textThe academic life is sometimes filled by a curious sequel of events and coincidences. I have never meet in person Marina Massimi, the author of this volume titled Psychological Knowledge and Practices in Brazilian Culture. Yet, our lives crossed already several times and all the times it was because her publications. Marina Massimi is, indeed, one of the most prominent scholar in the History of Psychology in South America and I had already a taste of her vaste knowledge about the historical roots of psychological and education sciences in the Brazilian context, in a volume I co-edited some years ago (Massimi 2015) to which Dr. Massimi contributed. I am very glad to host again her work within Latin America Voices Book Series that will serve as an international “sounding board” for her investigation

No full textFor the first time, this article shows that manuscripts Florence, Biblioteca Riccardiana, 804 and Vatican City, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, Ottob. Lat. 2251 are copies corrected by Poggio Bracciolini himself of his letter collections ad familiares. On these copies produced by two scribes who had already worked for Poggio, the author carefully revised his text and added marginal notes (in some cases even inserting the same notes in both manuscripts). In addition to the description of the manuscripts, the article offers a complete analysis of all of Bracciolini’s interventions (corrections, additions, and variants)

Particolare attenzione è dedicata alla biografia dell'autore e al contesto storico-sociale in cui operò, alla scelta dei soggetti alla base dei libretti, e all'intertestualità letteraria e musicale. Offre inoltre un utile sguardo sugli sviluppi internazionali e italiani della musicologia queer fino ai giorni d'oggi.The essay proposes possible interpretative approaches to nineteenth- and twentieth-century opera from a queer perspective. Particular attention is paid to the biography of the author and the historical-social context in which he worked, the choice of subjects at the basis of the librettos, and the literary and musical intertextuality. It also offers a useful insight into the international and Italian queer scholarship on opera up to the present day
