Parole che volano. Fortune e avventure intermediali di Ti ho sposato per allegria

    No full text
This article investigates the intermedial trajectories of Ti ho sposato per allegria, following the first comedy written by Natalia Ginzburg from its first representation on stage (1966), to the radiodramma (radio-drama), 1967, and then to its cinematographic adaptation of the same year, all directed by Luciano Salce. The perspective adopted intertwines the work of the author with the gazes of the two actresses who have starred in the main role, Adriana Asti and Monica Vitti. The analysis is based on varied and lesser-known sources such as theatre and radio scripts, the screenplay, theatre reviews and autobiographical writings

In the past decades, the exponential rise in fossil fuel consumption has led to a pressing need for sustainable energy solutions. This surge in fossil fuel usage has not only caused severe environmental repercussions but has also raised questions about our global dependence on such non-renewable resources. Ad-dressing these detrimental effects, NASA has urged the aeronautic industry to reduce aircraft fuel burn by a substantial 70% before 2025. As a result of comprehensive government and industry studies, electric aircraft propulsion has emerged as a pivotal focus of research. This encompasses vari-ous architectures such as full-electric, hybrid electric, and turbo-electric sys-tems. The aim is to significantly diminish the environmental impact of aviation and make it more sustainable for the future of passenger flight. This paper pro-vides an overview of the latest state-of-the-art innovations in propulsion sys-tems. It delves into the operational principles, technological requirements, ongo-ing research, and development efforts pertaining to all components essential for effecting this transformation in aviation technology. Additionally, the document will showcase existing commercial products, prototypes, and demonstrators to offer a comprehensive picture of the current scenario. Overall, this research is a vital step towards achieving energy sustainability and reducing the environmen-tal footprint of the aviation industry. By exploring and advancing electric air-craft propulsion, humanity can move closer to a cleaner, greener future for air travel

Performance Evaluation of Asphalt Concrete Modified by Polyolefins Through Dry and Wet Process

AbstractPolymer modification in road paving applications enables significant improvement in road service life as regards main distresses such as rutting, fatigue and thermal cracking. Polymer modification can be performed through a dry or wet process, and it may lead to mixtures with different mechanical properties depending on the modification process employed. In this context, this paper presents a laboratory investigation concerning the effect of a polyolefinic additive (PO) on the mechanical response of asphalt concrete produced by dry and wet process. Mechanical characterization consisted of wheel tracking tests at 40 and 60°C for rutting resistance analysis and semi-circular bending tests at 10°C for cracking behaviour analysis. Results showed higher rutting resistance of PO modified asphalt concretes (AC) compared to the control mixtures, but they were found to be more temperature sensitive denoting a penalized rutting response at higher temperature. PO modified ACs also showed higher fracture toughness and reduced fracture energy. In particular, the dry process seems to guarantee an ability of deformation such as better endurance of cracking propagation with respect to the mixture produced by the wet process
