No full textNaar aanleiding van het "Praktijkonderzoek Milieuvriendelijke Oevers" (Verkade en Boeters, 1988), een speerpunt-onderzoek van DWW in het kader van PMO, is er een pilotstudy uitgevoerd naar de mogelijkheden van een praktijkonderzoek aan oevers met een harde bekleding in de getijdewateren. De studie omvat een opzet voor een vergelijkend veldonderzoek naar reeds toegepaste en toe te passen nieuwe dijkbekledingsmaterialen, een inventarisatie van proefvakken voor dit onderzoek op de dijkglooiingen van de Oosterschelde en onderwerpen voor ondersteunend laboratoriumonderzoek. Verder is er een overzicht gemaakt van de werkgroepen, overlegorganen en dergelijke die zich met milieuvriendelijke oevers en het gebruik van alternatieve materialen in de waterbouw bezighouden, en van de belangrijkste literatuur over de ecologie van en aangroeiproeven op zowel natuurlijke als kunstmatige harde substraten in het zoute getijdemilieu. Deze notitie bevat een verslag van de vier eerst genoemde onderwerpen en een korte beschrijving van de ecologische aspekten die van betekenis kunnen zijn op harde substraten in het getijde in het zoute getijdemilieu

No full textDeze scriptie verkent hoe het levensverhaal van cliënten in de geestelijke verzorging in verband kan worden gebracht met de Reis van de Held van Joseph Campbell, en stelt voor deze laatste als het ware diagnostisch in te zetten om te bepalen waar de cliënt zich bevindt in het proces van betekenisgeving rondom een contingente levenservaring. Vervolgens biedt de scriptie handvatten voor hoe het levensverhaal in verband gebracht kan worden met een mythe, in dit geval De Afdaling van Inanna, om woorden en beelden aan te dragen in een evocatieve en expressieve functie. Op die manier kan de cliënt ondersteund worden in het proces van narratieve betekenisgeving én wordt de mythe ontsloten als zingevingsbron

Tozer, who would go on to become a famous author of deeper life books. Both men were members of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
