This board-book version of LM turns out to be quite creative. Ratoncete comes from school every afternoon and goes through the forest looking for adventures. He apparently blasts a horn into the ear of the sleeping lion. Don Leon wants to spank him as a result, but Ratoncete offers an apology, not an offer of help. Later, he happens upon the lion in his trap of ropes. 8 pages, counting both covers. 6½" x 9".Language note: SpanishNo Autho

    De?ning digital-Foley for live performance

Using a series of re?ective case-studies, the role of the Foley artist is reconsidered alongside technological innovations in both digital sound manipulation and physical computing. Through a series of theatrical productions and collaborations Challis and Dean have explored the sonic and dramatic possibilities created by the utilisation of digital technology in a live performance context. In this article, a variety of approaches to electronic sound-production and control are described along with ?rst-hand re?ections on the expressivity and control that are offered by each within a context of live drama. Their current project is a multimedia adaptation of the novel and ?lm Metropolis where the aural accompaniment will be performed live using a range of adapted and purpose built sonic triggers. In de?ning digital-Foley, design considerations and key principles are outlined that can enhance the connectivity between the sound-artist and the sonic-landscapes they create.</p

The History of Macroeconomics Viewed Against the Background of the Marshall-Walras Divide

Analysing the recent history of macroeconomics, my paper claims that the new classical revolution should be viewed as a substitution of Walrasian macroeconomics to the earlier prevailing Marshalian macroeconomics. The first part of the paper is concerned with two conceptual prerequisites, the relationship between macroeconomics and general equilibrium, the meaning of the “Keynesianism” modifier. In a second part, the different facets of the Marshall-Walras divide are expounded. My general claim is substantiated in the third paper of the paper. Herein, I claim that the IS-LM model is a simplified Marshallian general equilibrium model while real business cycle models belong to the Walrasian reserach programme. Finally, I express my scepticism as to the possibility of a New Neoclassical Synthesis.History of macroeconomics; Neoclassical Synthesis; New Neoclassical Synthesis; Keynesianism; Monetarism

    Markets Equilibrium: The Is-Lm Model

. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the concept of markets equilibrium: the IS-LM Model. This research uses library research method by using reference sources from books and journals according to the theme. The author uses a qualitative method which is explained graphically, namely the market balance of the IS-LM model where the focus is on money and goods markets associated with macroeconomics where researchers take the side of investors. The results of this study are that the balance in the economy is the point where the IS and LM curves intersect. This point provides an interest rate (r) and income level (Y) that satisfies the equilibrium conditions that occur in the goods market and money market. In other words, planned spending equals actual spending, and the demand for real money balances equals the supply. So that the IS-LM balance, it is stated that IS=LM

[Abstract]In this paper, The author tries to build a Dynamical IS-LM Model. The lnvestment depends on two factors, one is the rate of interest, and the other is the rate of prosperity yield of the investment. I will focus on the second factor. As was shown by Kaldor, the rate of prosperity yield has nonlinear fluctuations. By means of this character, This study proposes an IS-LM model that generates a cycle.departmental bulletin pape

Acute procedural and six-month clinical outcome in patients treated with a dedicated bifurcation stent for left main stem disease: the TRYTON LM multicentre registry.

AIMS: Tryton side branch (SB) reverse culotte stenting has been employed for the treatment of left main (LM) stem bifurcations in patients at high risk for bypass surgery. The aim of this study was to assess acute angiographic results and six-month clinical outcome after implantation of the Tryton stent in the LM. METHODS AND RESULTS: We studied 52 consecutive patients with LM disease treated in nine European centres. Angiographic and clinical data analysis was performed centrally. Fifty-one of 52 patients (age 68±11 yrs, 75% male, 42% unstable angina, SYNTAX score 20±8) were successfully treated with the Tryton stent. Medina class was 1,1,1 in 33 (63%), 1,0,1 in 7 (13%), 1,1,0 in 3 (6%), 0,1,1 in 8 (4%) and 0,0,1 in 1 (2%). The Tryton stent on a stepped balloon (diameter 3.5-2.5 mm) was used in 41/51 (80%) of cases. The mean main vessel stent diameter was 3.4±0.4 mm with an everolimus-eluting stent employed in 30/51 (59%) of cases. Final kissing balloon dilatation was performed in 48/51 (94%). Acute gain was 1.52±0.86 mm in the LM and 0.92±0.47 mm in the SB. The angiographic success rate was 100%; the procedural success rate reached 94%. Periprocedural MI occurred in three patients. At six-month follow-up, the TLR rate was 12%, MI 10% and cardiac death 2%. The hierarchical MACE rate at six months was 22%. No cases of definite stent thrombosis occurred. CONCLUSIONS: The use of the Tryton stent for treatment of LM bifurcation disease in combination with a conventional drug-eluting stent is feasible and achieves an optimal angiographic result. Safety of the procedure and six-month outcome are acceptable in this high-risk lesion PCI. Further safety and efficacy studies with long-term outcome assessment of this strategy are warranted

Possibilities and testing of CPRNG in block cipher mode of operation PM-DC-LM

    No full text
This paper discusses the chaotic pseudo-random number generator (CPRNG), which is used in block cipher mode of operation called PM-DC-LM. PM-DC-LM is one of possible subversions of general PM mode. In this paper is not discussed the design of PM-DC-LM, but only CPRNG as a part of it because designing is written in other papers. Possibilities, how to change or to improve CPRNG are mentioned. The final part is devoted for a little testing of CPRNG and some testing data are shown. © 2016 Author(s)
