    ’DANSK RETSPLEJE – civil-, foged-, skifte- og straffeprocessen’ giver en samlet, integreret fremstilling af dansk retspleje, der ellers traditionelt fremstilles opdelt i civilproces, straffeproces, insolvensproces etc. DANSK RETSPLEJE er den eneste danske fremstilling af retsplejen, der giver et samlet billede af hele retsplejen, både omfattende civile retssager, fogedsager, skiftesager og straffesager. Forbilledet for et sådant totalbillede af retsplejen er svenske procesretlige værker. Den oprindelige idé til at omplante denne fremstillingsmåde til dansk retslitteratur kom fra universitetslektor, docent Jens Anker Andersen, der sammen med Erik Werlauff skrev 1.-udgaven af DANSK RETSPLEJE. Efter Jens Anker Andersens død indtrådte daværende landsdommer, nu advokat Lars Lindencrone Petersen, videnpartner hos Bech-Bruun, som medforfatter. Det oprindelige sigte med bogen – det samlede billede af retsplejen – er fastholdt gennem samtlige udgaver, også i denne 5. udgave fra 2011

    Spherical near field measurements with truncated scan area

    This paper presents a technique for the determination of the full sphere pattern of an antenna from truncated spherical near field measurements. The approach is based on an iterative procedure which exploits the band-limitedness properties of the radiated field to correctly reconstruct the full sphere data. Tests performed on synthetic as well as measured near-field data demonstrate the effectiveness of the procedure and its stability against measurement errors. © 2011 EurAAP

    Performance of a class of stacked-disk dielectric lenses for lightweight antennas

    The electromagnetic performance of a class of lightweight stacked disk dielectric lenses, useful for reducing the cost and construction complexity of a radiating system, are compared with the massive counterpart in order to highlight their strengths and weaknesses. A full-wave numerical technique to include field propagation and diffraction effects taking place between the different disks forming the considered lenses, was employed. Information useful to exploit the electromagnetic characteristics of the analyzed lenses are presented

    A Novel Dielectric Lens with Integrated Polarization Conversion Capability

    High gain, compact and lightweight antennas are highly requested in nowadays communications. To this end, a novel stacked-disk dielectric lens useful for converting linear to right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) or to rotate the field polarization towards a slant-45°, while increasing gain and limiting the overall antenna weight is presented. The lens, of simple manufacturing, is based on a new construction technology which allows an overall weight lens reductions of the order of 90%. Numerical results concerning the gain enhancement and polarization conversion of the field radiated by a horn antenna equipped with the proposed lens are presented and analyzed in detail

    A compact high-gain wideband lens Vivaldi antenna for wireless communications and through-the-wall imaging

    Compact high-gain wideband antenna systems for through-the-wall imaging and wireless communications, featuring 160% fractional bandwidth, are presented. Each radiating system, consisting of two orthogonal Vivaldi antennas forming a cross-shaped configuration so to excite linear (horizontal/vertical) and circular polarization (CP), is equipped with a top-mount spherical-axicon dielectric lens. The optimized shaping of the lens and of the outer edge Vivaldi arms allow achieving gain levels exceeding 15dBi with good front-to-back-ratio. The proposed antenna features a broadside gain diagram with stable radiation pattern and wideband impedance matching in the frequency range between 650 MHz and 6 GHz. CST Microwave Studio®, implementing a full-wave locally conformal finite integration technique (FIT), was employed to design and characterize the antenna and to guide its physical realization. Two-port equivalent circuits were developed to characterize parasitic coupling effects between the Vivaldi antennas ports, while a full-wave analysis allowed characterizing their frequency and time domain behaviors. The numerical results concerning the antennas parameters, illustrating the suitability of the proposed antennas to support narrow and ultra-wideband signal waveforms, are found to be in good agreement with the experimental measurements performed on an antenna prototype

    A Wideband High-Gain Dielectric Horn-Lens Antenna for Wireless Communications and UWB Applications

    A wideband high-gain dielectric horn-lens antenna (DHLA) for wireless communications and ultra-wideband (UWB) applications, featuring 122% fractional bandwidth, is presented. The antenna, consisting of a dielectric horn equipped with a spherical-axicon dielectric lens that increases and equalizes the gain within the operating band, is placed on a PCB featuring a wideband eight-shaped slot fed by a tapered microstrip line employed to excite the radiating system. The lens, integrated within the body of the dielectric horn, has the property of focusing the RF energy near its vertex on an extended frequency band, thus ensuring compact size, excellent field coupling with the antenna excitation system, and a significant increase of antenna gain. The antenna operates in the 3–12.4 GHz frequency range with relatively flat group delay, making it suitable for operating with narrowband, broadband, and impulsive UWB signals. The antenna can work properly without or with a metal reflector useful to enhance gain (up to 19 dBi), improve the front-to-back ratio, and reduce the impact of the antenna characteristics from the installation site. CST Studio Suite, implementing a full-wave locally conformal finite integration technique (FIT), was employed to design and characterize the antenna.
