Konsep pendidikan humanis Paulo Freire dan relevansinya dengan pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan sosial

Dalam tiap masa, isu kemanusiaan senantiasa menjadi pembahasan hangat ditengah zaman yang makin tidak memanusiakan ini. Sebagai upaya menanggapi hal tersebut, muncullah berbagai konsep pendidikan sebagai upaya memanusiakan kembali (humanisasi) “manusia”. Upaya ini telah digeluti beragam tokoh di dunia, salah satunya Paulo Freire dengan konsep pendidikan humanisnya. Di Indonesia, dalam menanggapi hal yang sama, upaya tersebut dilakukan dengan memasukkan unsur-unsur sosial kemanusiaan serta isu-isu kontekstual ke dalam mata pelajaran khusus yang sering kita kenal dengan “Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS)”.
Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk; a) memahami konsep pendidikan Humanis menurut Paulo Freire, serta b) mengungkap relevansi antara konsep pendidikan Humanis Paulo Freire dengan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.
Penelitian yang dilakukan Penulis untuk mencapai tujuan di atas termasuk dalam model penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Library Research atau penelitian kepustakaan. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian adalah metode dokumenter, yaitu mencari atau mengumpulkan data mengenai hal-hal atau variable penelitian berupa buku-buku karangan Paulo Freire dan konsep Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Kemudian, untuk analisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi (Content Analisys), yakni suatu teknik penelitian untuk menguraikan isi komunikasi yang jelas secara objektif, sistematis dan kuantitatif.
Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah sebagai berikut; a) bagi Freire, pendidikan semestinya menjadi kendaraan revolusioner dalam membantu manusia mencapai kesadaran kritisnya. Dalam konsep pendidikan humanisnya, tujuan akhir yang hendak dicapai adalah pembebasan manusia dari belenggu penindasan yang membuat ia kehilangan nilai kemanusiaannya; b) terdapat relevansi konsep pendidikan humanis Paulo Freire dengan pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dalam beberapa hal menyangkut peran peserta didik, kesadaran individu dan masyarakat, pendidikan berbasis realitas sosial, serta pendidikan dialogis menuju masyarakat demokratis.

In each period, the issue of humanity is always a warm discussion in the midst of an era that is increasingly not humanizing this. In an effort to respond to this, various concepts of education emerged as an effort to humanize the "human" back. This effort has been cultivated by various figures in the world, one of them being Paulo Freire with his concept of humanist education. In Indonesia, in response to the same thing, these efforts are carried out by including social humanitarian elements and contextual issues into specific subjects that we often know as "Social Studies".
The purpose of this research is to; a) understand the concept of Humanist education according to Paulo Freire, and b) reveal the relevance of the concept of Humanist Paulo Freire education with Social Sciences Education.
The research conducted by the author to achieve the above objectives is included in the descriptive qualitative research model. The type of research used in this study is Library Research or library research. The method of data collection used in research is the documentary method, which is to find or collect data about things or research variables in the form of books written by Paulo Freire and the concept of Social Sciences. Then, for data analysis, this study uses content analysis, a research technique to describe the contents of communication that are clearly objective, systematic and quantitative.
From the results of the research conducted, conclusions that can be taken are as follows; a) For Freire, education should be a revolutionary vehicle in helping humans reach their critical awareness. In the concept of humanist education, the ultimate goal to be achieved is human liberation from the shackles of oppression which makes it lose its human value; b) there is relevance of the concept of humanist education Paulo Freire with the education of Social Sciences (IPS) in several respects concerning the role of students, individual and community awareness, social reality-based education, and dialogical education towards a democratic society
PENGARUH KOMITMEN ORGANISASI DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PEGAWAI PADA KANTOR DINAS PEKERJAAN UMUM KABUPATEN KLATEN
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan iklim organisasi secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, serta menganalisis variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Klaten. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di Kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Klaten, sebanyak 97 orang, terdiri dari 56 orang pegawai tetap berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil dan 41 orang pegawai berstatus tenaga kontrak. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini terbatas hanya pegawai kontrak dengan jumlah pegawai sebanyak 41 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel
menggunakan teknik purposive sampling (sampel bertujuan). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan analisis analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan (1) Komitmen organisasi dan iklim organisasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, berarti mendukung H1. Hal ini diketahui dari uji t di mana p value < 0,05. (2) Komitmen organisasi dan iklim organisasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, berarti mendukung H2. Hal ini diketahui dari uji F di mana p value < 0,05.(3) Komitmen organisasi mempunyai pengaruh dominan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Klaten, berarti mendukung H3. Hal ini diketahui dari koefisien regresi beta komitmen organisasi (β1) sebesar 0,502 sedangkan besarnya koefisien regresi beta iklim organisasi (β2) adalah 0,393.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan kesimpulan yang didapat, maka untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawai di Kantor Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kabupaten Klaten dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komitmen organisasi dan iklim
organisasi. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut organisasi disarankan memberikan penghargaan yang semakin baik kepada pegawai kontrak dan menerapkan sistem reward dan punishment yang adil
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
