    No full text
Teaching is a complex and cognitively demanding exercise where teachers need to draw on their expertise in a contextually-sensitive manner. Multiage settings that comprise students with widely different abilities, ages, and cognitive and linguistics capabilities, require teachers to develop and upgrade specific pedagogic and administrative skills. Teacher education programmes offered at Australian universities however are yet to fully recognise this need. In this paper, the author develops an argument for inclusion of specific training in multiage education in Australian teacher education programmes

This paper aims to portray the criteria considered important by Millennials in selecting a café and investigate the gender preference regarding those criteria. The questionnaires were distributed to 100 café visitors. The research results using Rasch analysis showed that ‘comfort’ is generally the most important criterion of a café. Nonetheless, male and female Millennials do not always have a consensus where male Millennials prefer ‘innovativeness’ to other criteria while female Millennials prefer ‘comfort, varied menus, and unique menus’ to others. Other criteria aside from these four criteria are not significantly different among the two groups of gender. This paper gives implication for the culinary businesses in setting strategies targeting the Millennials who are presently the largest population group in Indonesia. Indian Metensomatosis and Basilidian Palingenesis in Clemens of Alexandria (Stromata 3.7 and 4.12) At the end of the second century AD, Clemens of Alexandria was the only Greek author mentioning the Indian belief in «palingenesia». The analysis of the vocabulary specific to this theologian— involved in the Christian polemics and in the refutation of the doctrines of non-Christian philosophical and gnostic schools— and the study of his textual sources lead us to consider that «palingenesia» he attributed to the post-mortem beliefs of the Brahmins of India, makes no reference to the idea of transmigration of the soul in a new human body, but to the Indian concept of third birth to the heavenly world as that it had already been recorded by Megasthenes in his Indika in the early third century BC.À la fin du IIe s. ap.
