A preliminary study on trustworthiness framework for traditional Malay medicine data retrieval
Traditional Malay Medicine data retrieval may potentially contribute to the COVID-19 pandemic response. However, trustworthiness issues may hinder for medical professionals from accepting its formulations. This paper presents a preliminary study of trustworthiness frameworks in PubMed and IEEE related to Covid-19. The study examined three aspects of Traditional Malay Medicine data retrieval; (1) Manuscript Original Verification, (2) Author Profiling method, and (3) in-database module trust framework. Three relevance frameworks are selected based on each focus aspect. In contrast to current frameworks which may give priority to quantitative metrics such as citations, our proposed framework places emphasis on the authenticity of the source material, specifically the manuscript. Within the database, we incorporate trust metrics into the author profiling method, prioritising formulation replicability over context authorship methods. This measure of replicability not only enhances the credibility of the formulation but also functions as a tool to detect potential biases or errors in the original formulation. Furthermore, our in-database module trust framework prioritises the ability to adapt to new information and trends. This inherent flexibility can result in increasingly precise assessments of trustworthiness over time, requiring fewer resources for upkeep. This review aims to establish fundamental criteria and principles for evaluating the reliability of Traditional Malay Medicine. Hence, it is imperative to inspire contemporary researchers to delve into the role of Traditional Malay Medicine in tackling forthcoming pandemics
SEKOLAH TANGGUH PANGAN DAN PERTANIAN: EDUKASI PERTANIAN TERPADU DAN KEAMANAN PANGAN DI SEKOLAH SEMAI KABUPATEN JEPARA PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH
Lembaga pendidikan seperti sekolah memiliki lahan pekarangan yang masih belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Padahal dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dengan kegiatan pertanian. Selain itu, setiap sekolah memiliki kantin yang menyediakan makanan atau minuman untuk peserta didik/siswa. Namun selama ini tidak terintegrasi antara pengelolaan pekarangan yang bisa menghasilkan produk pertanin dengan pengelolaan kantin sekolah. Sekolah Semai telah menginisiasi pembelajaran berbasis alam melalui pengembangan kebun sekolah. Namun, pengembangan kebun sekolah masih menjumpai beberapa hambatan, mencakup keterbatasan pengetahuan, SDM, dan modal kapital. Metode kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat dosen pulang kampung ini menggunakan metode penyuluhan, FGD dan kuesioner. Responden dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan guru, pengelola kebun dan pengelola kantin sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan tentang sekolah tangguh pangan dan pertanian, pelatihan pertanian terpadu, dan pelatihan penerapan GMP, SSOP dan HACCP. Hasil lainnya terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta dari keseluruhan pelatihan sebesar 20%
Development and evaluation of
The study investigates the substitution of wheat flour with beneng taro flour in the production of sable cookies. The aim is to develop a healthier alternative to sable cookies by emphasizing the nutritional benefits of beneng taro, a local food ingredient. Organoleptic tests were conducted to evaluate color, taste, aroma, and texture preferences among 30 semi-trained panelists. The findings indicate that sable cookies with 45% beneng taro flour substitution were well-received and had a shelf life of up to 8 hours when stored in PET jars at low temperatures. The study concludes that beneng taro flour can be a healthier alternative to wheat flour, offering lower energy and fat contents sable cookies. Further research is recommended to optimize the ingredient composition and storage conditions
Pengembangan Pempek Dos dengan Memanfaatkan Hati Ayam sebagai Fortifikan Zat Besi
One of the health problems that often occurs in young girls due to iron deficiency is anemia. Iron deficiency anemia can be prevented by using local food ingredients that contain high iron, namely chicken liver, which is substituted in the product pempek dos so that it becomes an iron fortified food. The research is aimed at developing a product of pempek with the addition of chicken liver. This study uses a complete random design (RAL) of one factor with three treatments. The results of the research showed that there was a significant difference in the hedonic test of color attributes. The chosen pempek formula is F2 with the addition of chicken liver 60 grams, F2 has an energy content of 346 kcal, protein 10.6 g, fat 5.7 g, carbohydrates 63.8 g, and iron 4.6 mg. This formula has a contribution to AKG as much as 16% energy, 16% protein, 8% fat, 21% carbs, and 30% iron.Salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi pada remaja putri karena defisiensi zat besi yaitu anemia. Kejadian anemia defisiensi zat besi dapat dicegah dengan memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal yang mengandung zat besi tinggi yaitu hati ayam yang disubstitusikan pada produk pempek dos sehingga menjadi makanan fortifikan zat besi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk pempek dos dengan penambahan hati ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 1 faktor dengan 3 perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada uji hedonik atribut warna.. Formula pempek yang terpilih yaitu F2 dengan penambahan hati ayam 60 gram, F2 memiliki kandungan energi 346 kkal, protein 10,6 g, lemak 5,7 g, karbohidrat 63,8 g, dan zat besi 4,6 mg. Formula ini memiliki kontribusi terhadap AKG sebesar 16% energi, 16% protein, 8% lemak, 21% karbohidrat, dan zat besi 30%. Produk pempek dos hati ayam ini dapat diklaim sebagai fortifikan zat besi bagi remaja putri karena terdapat sumber zat besi sebanyak 17% ALG per 100 gram dalam bentuk padat
