Index of the Adriatic Sea Polychaetes (Annelida, Polychaeta)
In the Adriatic Sea, 559 polychaetous species (Annelida, Polychaeta) have been determined so far. The list presented is a result of the author\u27s investigations as well as a detailed analyses of more than one hundred papers, published over the last 150 years, which analyze the group of sea animals of benthic animal communities of the Adriatic Sea. The literature contains all the papers which have been analyzed.
In the Catalogue of polychaeta (POŽAR-DOMAC, 1978), 447 polychaetous species from the Adriatic Sea were recorded. Since then, intensive investigations have been carried out on the animal communities of the whole Adriatic Sea, especially certain plant and animal groups. Results of more than one hundred newly determined or newly described species are listed in papers of some eminent experts (AMOUREUX, BELLAN, BIANCHI, CASTELLI, COGNETTI, KATZMANN, LAUBIER, GAMBI etc.) who have analyzed groups of polychaeta in the Adriatic over the last 15 or so years. Considering these results, it was necessary to add the list of Polychaeta species determined for this area. The accepted specific names in the Catalogue and also in the present contribution, are those used in the Catalogue of the Polychaetous Annelids of the World (HARTMAN, 1959; 1965)
Corrections to Kerr-Newman black hole from noncommutative Einstein-Maxwell equation
In this letter we introduce the noncommutative geometry into the standard Einstein-Hilbert-Maxwell action via the ∂t∧∂φ Drinfeld twist and solve the equation of motion pertubatively in the expansion of the noncommutative parameter a. The equation of motion, the NC Einstein-Maxwell equation, turns out to be effectively a problem in nonlinear electrodynamics where the energy-momentum tensor Tμν obtains correction terms with three Faraday tensors Fμν. A solution with nonzero a1 terms turns out to be the Kerr-Newman black hole modified with nonzero gtθ,grφ,gtr and gφθ components proportional to a, while the electromagnetic potential is the Seiberg-Witten expanded Kerr-Newman potential which introduces a nonzero Aθ term proportional to a
Geometrija Standardnog Modela
This Master’s Thesis is an almost completely self-contained outline of the Standard Model (SM) in the framework of gauge theory. The tools from differential geometry, differential topology and spin structure necessary for mathematical description of gauge theories were built and their examples in General theory of relativity (GR) were shown. Special attention was paid to principal and associated bundles which are central mathematical objects used to define gauge theories. Then the SM was shortly outlined in the style of undergraduate courses Elementary particle physics, focusing mostly on its symmetries and the structure of its Lagrangian. In the end, the developed mathematical structures were applied on the concrete gauge theory of the Standard Model by rigorously defining every term of its Lagrangian in a geometrical way.
Noncommutative correction to the entropy of charged BTZ black hole
Noncommutative geometry is an established potential candidate for including
quantum phenomena in gravitation. We outline the formalism of Hopf algebras and
its connection to the algebra of infinitesimal diffeomorphisms. Using a
Drinfeld twist we deform spacetime symmetries, algebra of vector fields and
differential forms leading to a formulation of noncommutative Einstein
equations. We study a concrete example of charged BTZ spacetime and
deformations steaming from the so called angular twist. The entropy of the
noncommutative charged BTZ black hole is obtained using the brick-wall method.
We used a charged scalar field as a probe and obtained its spectrum and density
of states via WKB approximation. We provide the method to calculate corrections
to the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy in higher orders in WKB, but we present the
final result in the lowest WKB order. The result is that even in the lowest
order in WKB, the entropy, in general, contains higher powers in , and
it has logarithmic corrections, and polynomials of logarithms of the black hole
area.Comment: 19 pages, typos correcte
AN EXPLORATORY STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF TEXTUAL AND LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF THE TEXT OF THE PASSION ACCORDING TO MATTHEW IN CROATIAN GLAGOLITIC MISSALS
Šimić je utvrdila grupiranje misala u tri skupine: stariju (Vatikanski illirico 4, Ročki, Ljubljanski (Beramski) prvi, Kopenhagenski, Ljubljanski (Beramski) drugi), mlađu (Hrvojev, Newyorški, Senjski) i treću, prijelaznu (Prvi oxfordski, Berlinski, Drugi oxfordski, Drugi vrbnički, Vatikanski Illirico 8, Prvi vrbnički, Novakov, Prvotisak). Starting from the division of Croatian Glagolitic liturgical codices into northern and southern, i.e., older and younger groups established by M. A. Pantelić (1971) and J. L. Tandarić (1980), and based on research which has resulted in an emergence of a third, transitional group, in this paper we examine selected statistical methods and the ex¬tent to which they enable a clearer presentation and better understanding of the relationship between the texts of Croatian Glagolitic codices compared to the tradi¬tional approach. The material from the study into the language of the text of the Passion according to Matthew from 16 Croatian Glagolitic missals by M. Šimić (2000) was used as a corpus for the analysis in which the author identified phenomena rele¬vant to linguistic analysis and presented data about these phenomena in individual missals. The author determined that the Missals can be grouped into older (Vatican Missal Illirico 4, Roč Missal, First Ljubljana (Beram) Missal, Copenhagen Missal, Sec-ond Ljubljana (Beram) Missal), younger (Hrvoje’s Missal, New York Missal, Senj Missal) and a third, transitional group consisting of the following eight missals: First Oxford Missal, Berlin Missal, Second Oxford Missal, Second Vrbnik Missal, Vatican Missal Illirico 8, First Vrbnik Missal, Novak’s Missal and Editio Princeps. In the cur¬rent research, statistical methods of segmentation analysis were performed on Šimić’s data. This included a set of statistical methods that try to quantitatively express the similarity of the analysed units with regard to characteristics significant for their mu¬tual relationship, with the aim of setting hypotheses about the broader structure to which these units belong. The analysis presents how, with regard to the selected lin¬guistic and textual features, the Missals are grouped and shows the relationships between these groups. The analysis has confirmed the division into groups observed when applying traditional methods, but also warned about some phenomena that had not been noticed before
Star-products for Lie-algebraic noncommutative Minkowski space-times
International audiencePoisson structures of the Poincaré group can be linked to deformations of the Minkowski space-time, classified some time ago. We construct the star-products and involutions characterizing the -algebras of various quantum Minkowski space-times with non-centrally extended coordinates Lie algebras. We show that the usual Lebesgue integral defines either a trace or a KMS weight ("twisted trace") depending whether the Lie group of the coordinates' Lie algebra is unimodular or not. We determine the Hopf algebras modeling the deformed relativistic symmetries, which appear to be either a deformation of the usual (Hopf) Poincaré algebra or a deformation of an enlarged algebra. The results are briefly discussed
Constructing noncommutative black holes
We present a self-contained and consistent formulation of noncommutative (NC) gauge theory of gravity, focusing on spherically symmetric black hole geometries. Our construction starts from the gauge-theoretic viewpoint of Poincaré (or de Sitter) gravity and introduces noncommutativity through the Moyal star product and the Seiberg-Witten map, retaining NC gauge invariance at each order in the deformation parameter Θ. Working systematically to second order in Θ, we obtain explicit NC corrections to the spin connection, the vierbein, and various geometric objects such as the metric and curvature scalars. Using these results, we compute NC modifications of four-dimensional Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordström solutions, including scenarios with a cosmological constant, as well as three-dimensional BTZ-type black holes (both uncharged and charged). For each black hole solution, we explore various possible Moyal twists, each of which generally breaks some symmetries and modifies the horizon structure, surface gravity, and curvature invariants. In particular, we show that while the radial location of horizons in Schwarzschild-like solutions remains unchanged for some twists, other twists introduce important but finite deformations in curvature scalars and can decouple the Killing horizon from the causal horizon. Similar patterns arise in the charged and lower-dimensional cases. Beyond constructing explicit examples, our approach provides a blueprint for systematically incorporating short-distance quantum corrections through noncommutativity in gravitational settings. The methods and expansions we present can be extended to more general geometries including rotating black holes and additional matter fields, offering a broad framework for future studies of NC effects in classical solutions of general relativity
Entropy of black holes, charged probes and noncommutative generalization
The brick wall model is a semi-classical approach to understanding the
microscopic origin of black hole entropy. We outline the formalism for the
brick wall model in arbitrary number of dimensions and generalize it to include
both charged spacetimes and charged probes in order to systematically show how
to calculate the entropy for any black hole, in higher orders of the WKB
approximation. We calculate the entropy for the Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m and
charged BTZ black holes, and by looking at the chargeless limits we recover the
entropy of the Schwarzschild and neutral BTZ black holes. We also study
noncommutative corrections to the black hole entropy by using a Drinfeld twist
to deform spacetime symmetries. Using the noncommutative action for a charged
scalar field, we derive the noncommutative Klein-Gordon equation and the radial
equation in arbitrary dimension on which we generalize the brick wall method.
We study case by case the noncommutative Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m and
noncommutative charged BTZ black holes, the entropy of which we calculate using
the generalized brick wall method. Corrections due to higher order in the WKB
approximation arise, and they are given by the logarithms of the black hole
area. The corrections in the lowest order of WKB due to noncommutativity are
also given by the logarithms of the black hole area.Comment: 19 page
A business plan for opening a transportation craft business
An individual's decision to enter the world of entrepreneurship and create his own company is often the result of various life circumstances, such as being fired from work, but such a decision often follows the individual's desire to process his own ideas. However, having an idea and desire to start your own business venture is not enough for a successful business. Although entrepreneurs often avoid it, considering that it is not necessary and that all steps in the company's operations can be done without it, a business plan is an important document that shows all the goals and the ways in which the same goals can be achieved for a certain period of time, all for the purpose of successful business of entrepreneurs. This thesis shows the significance and importance of creating a business plan. After the theoretical part, where the concept of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial process are explained, as well as the role and position of women in entrepreneurship, the author presented her own entrepreneurial idea through the creation of a business plan. In addition to basic data that includes a description of the idea itself, the mission and vision of the business, a detailed market analysis was made and economic and financial performance indicators were created, and at the end an assessment and conclusion was made on the merits and economic viability of the entrepreneurial venture
