Permasalahan umum dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai Islam yang terkandung dalam novel Umang karya Ferry Irawan A.M. Masalah khususnya adalah 1) Bagaimanakah nilai akidah, nilai ibadah, serta nilai akhlak yang terkandung dalam novel Umang karya Ferry Irawan A.M..
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan berbentuk kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis karya sastra. Sumber data: sebuah novel Umang karya Ferry Irawan A.M. yang diterbitkan DIVA Press. Data primer berupa kutipan-kutipan (kata, frasa, dan kalimat) yang berkaitan dengan nilai akidah, nilai ibadah serta nilai akhlak yang memperhatikan rangkaian peristiwa yang terdapat dalam novel Umang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik studi dokumenter. Alat yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama dan menggunakan kartu pencatat data sebagai instrumen tambahan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data diamati dengan: a) Kecukupan referensi. b) Pemeriksaan dengan teman sejawat. c) Trianggulasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu: 1) membaca novel Umang karya Ferry Irawan A.M. secara cermat dan berulang. 2) mencatat bagian-bagian yang berkaitan langsung dengan masalah yang akan dianalisis menggunakan kartu pencatat data. 3) mengklasifikasikan data sesuai masalah penelitian. 4) mendeskripsikan data sesuai klasifikasi masalah penelitian. 5) menyimpulkan hasil analisis data sesuai masalah penelitian.
Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai Islam yang meliputi: 1) nilai akidah dilihat dari tokoh utama, yakni: a) Iman kepada Allah Swt., b) Iman kepada Rasul Allah, c) Iman kepada Malaikat Allah, d) Iman kepada Takdir Allah, e) Iman kepada Hari Kiamat. 2) nilai Ibadah dilihat dari tokoh utama, yakni: a) Sholat, b) berdoa, c) berdakwah, d) menuntut ilmu. 3) nilai Akhlak dilihat dari tokoh utama, yakni: a) berbakti kepada orang tua, b) tidak putus asa, c) berpendirian, d) rendah hati, dan d) sabar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sastra untuk mata pelajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di SMU dengan Standar Kompetensi membaca: 7. Memahami berbagai Hikayat, novel Indonesia/terjemahan. Kompetensi Dasar: 7.2 Menganalisis unsur-unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik novel Indonesia/terjemahan.

People often do buying and selling activities in an easy way, which is in the form of buying and selling goods in the internet or online. It is called as online commerce or e-commerce. Using online-commerce, people do not need to go out to spend their time buying for their living goods. Online-commerce facilitates people easily in trading. Saving time is becoming a reason for them to do online commerce. The method used in online-commerce is almost the same as offline commerce. Online commerce offers a lot of convenience for both sellers and buyers in transaction. This certainly has a lot of convenience, but it also has weaknesses in online transactions. For consumers, they get less-notice for protection so that online-commerce has a lot of weaknesses in this case. The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is a legal state that protects the whole of Indonesia's blood spill. The State becomes a protector of its citizens in the context of consumer protection. The law has arranged that consumers also have protection in order not to cause any harm in transaction. Both offline and online transactions are regulated by consumer protection laws because these laws are intended to protect consumers in buying and selling transactions. In the law number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection is mentioned in article 1, paragraph 2, that the Customer is any user of goods and/ or services available in the community, whether for self-interest, family, other people or other living beings and not to be traded, whereas in Article 1 paragraph 1 mentioned, Consumer protection is any effort that ensures the legal certainty to give to the consumer. There are several consumer rights protected by law, such as, in article 4 of the consumer protection law including, the right to convenience, security and safety in consuming goods and / or services, the right to choose goods and/ or services and right to obtain goods and/ or services in accordance with exchange rates and the promised conditions and warranties, the right to true, clear and honest information about the conditions and warranties of goods and / or services, the right to be heard and to complain of goods and / or services used, the right to advocacy, protection and appropriate dispute resolution of consumer protection, the right to counsel and education of consumers, the right to be treated or served properly and honestly and non-discriminatively, the right to compensation and / or reimbursement , if the goods and / or services received are not in accordance with the agreement or not as appropriate, and the last is the rights set in the provisions of other legislation.The consumers’ rights that have been regulated in the law are providing legal protection to the consumer either online transaction or offline transactions. Based on the law of protection to the consumer in the context of online-commerce, the consumers can apply this law to sue their rights that have been mandated in the law as a form of legal protection to consumers
NILAI-NILAI HISTORIS NOVEL BABAD SRIWIJAYA KARYA FERRY IRAWAN AM (KAJIAN STRUKTURAL SEMIOTIK)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai- nilai historis berupa realita objektif dan realita imajinatif, dengan s truktural semiotik novel Babad Sriwijaya karya Ferry Irawan AM. Pengumpulan data merujuk pada prosedur yang dikemukakan Mayring, melalui beberapa tahap, pertama membuat pertanyaan penelitian, menentukan teknik analisis, menentukan unit analisis, menganalisis materi dan menafsirkannya.Data penelitian adalah semua teks tulisan berkenaan dengan rumusan penelitian yang terdapat dalam novel. Hasil kajian nilai-nilai historis berupa realita objektif dan realita imajinatif diperoleh data, 50 judul, 20 judul memiliki nilai-nilai historis diperoleh 89 kutipan, 38 kutipan merupakan realita objektif. Kemudian nilai-nilai historis berupa realita imajinatif, dari 30 judul diperoleh 342 kutipan, ada 218 merupakan realita imajinatif. Selanjutnya semiosis nilai-nilai historis novel Babad Sriwijaya dari 50 judul, diperoleh 209 kutipan, 418 merupakan penanda semiosis yang terdiri 69 penanda realita objektif, 410 penanda realita imajinatif. Dengan rincian ikon 378, indeks 389, dan simbol 167. Berdasakan data di atas, 40% Babad Sriwijaya mengandung nilai-nilai historis berupa realita objektif, dan 60% merupakan realita imajinatif. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Babad Sriwijaya merupakan novel berlatar sejarah.

Abstract
The research on the novel of Babad Sriwijaya written by Ferry Irawan AM was focused on the historical values by using structural semiotic analysis. The objective of the research was to analyse historical values which were objective and imaginative reality, with qualitative research method, and content analysis technique. The data collection was done through some phases, firstly, formulating research problem (question), determining technique of analysis, determining analysis units, analysing and interpreting the material, referring to the procedure proposed by Mayring. The data were whole written texts in the novel related to formulation of the problem. Based on the analysis which included the theme, plot, setting, and characters, there were 20 titles in the objective reality out of 50 titles. Then, there were 38 objective realities out of 89 quotations. There were 30 titles in imaginative reality and 218 imaginative realities out of 342 quotations. Based on semiotic analysis on the historical values of 50 titles in the novel of 'Babad Sriwijaya", it was found that there were 209 quotations, 418 were semiotic signals consisted of 69 objective reality signals and 410 imaginative reality signals. There were 378 icons, 389 indexes, and 167 symbols. Based on the data above, 40% contained historical values of objective reality and 60% of imaginative reality. In conclusion, 'Babad Sriwijaya was historical-based novel.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
