No full textEste documento resume los detalles y resultados de una campaña de medición realizada en la ciudad de Bogotá (Colombia) durante un period o de seis meses, desde octubre de 2014 a abril de 2015. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se realizó i nicialmente un análisis de ocupación a tres canales dentro del enlace ascendente de la ban da GSM850 y su comportamiento con el fin de constatar el tiempo adecuado que durante el cual se requiere medir un canal para predecir con precisión el nivel de ocupación del es pectro y así optimizar el proceso de diseño de redes de Radio Cognitiva. De igual manera, se analizó el parámetro de Auto-si militud para determinar la probabilidad de pronóstico de cada uno de los tres canales anali zados, junto con un análisis del ciclo de trabajo. El resultado de la investigación permit e ver que los tres canales tienen una alta probabilidad de pronóstico tras analizar tan solo u na semana, la cual resulta ser mayor para un periodo semanal de Lunes a Viernes que en u n periodo seis meses de medición incluyendo sábado y domingo. El análisis realizado permite ver adicionalmente que el comportamiento de los canales durante el día sábado y domingo es diferente al de los demás días de la semana.Abstract: This document summarizes the details and results of a measurement campaign carried out in the city of Bogotá (Colombia) during a period of six months, from October 2014 to April 2015. For the development of the research, an occupation analysis was performed initially to three channels on the uplink of the GSM850 band and its behavior in order to verify the adequate time that a channel must be measured to ac curately predict the occupation level of the spectrum and thus optimize the process of de signing Cognitive Radio networks. Likewise, the Self-similarity parameter was analyze d to determine the probability of forecast of each of the three channels studied, tog ether with an analysis of the work cycle. The result of the investigation shows that the thre e channels have a high probability of prognosis after analyzing only one week, which is h igher in a period from Monday to Friday than in a period of six months of measurement. incl uding Saturday and Sunday. Additionally the investigation shows that the behav ior of the channels during Saturday and Sunday is different from the other days of the week.Maestrí

No full textEl propósito de esta investigación es analizar si la importación de tableros de fibra de densidad
media ecológicos es una opción rentable para la industria del mueble en el Perú. La data utilizada
contiene datos históricos anuales para el periodo 2010-2017, así como proyecciones estimadas
hasta el 2025.
El método de análisis es de tipo descriptivo y de diseño no experimental.
Los principales resultados indicaron que el mercado de tableros MDF va a tener un crecimiento
sostenido en los próximos años y cada vez más el comercio de productos ecológicos va a estar en
la mira de las empresas globales. Los tableros MDF importados del Brasil aparecen como una
alternativa rentable y amigable con el medio ambiente para la elaboración de muebles en el Perú
donde ha venido teniendo gran aceptación en el mercado interno. Si bien la balanza comercial es
deficitaria, el precio importado del tablero MDF es relativamente inferior al precio de otro
producto importado como la melamina dándole así una mayor competitividad en precios como
también preferencia por su fino acabado y se demostró que es económica y financieramente
rentable.
Estos resultados indican que sería oportuna una mayor investigación en el tema de las necesidades
del sector construcción, que no fue materia de este proyecto de investigación, para poder
complementar el enfoque y las acciones de los empresarios peruanos, que negocian con productos

Effects of initial conditions and Mach number in the evolution of Richtmyer-Meshkov instabilities
No full textWe present an experimental study of the effects of shock intensity and initial conditions on the evolution of Richtmyer-Meshkov Instabilities (RMI). This study is carried out in a vertical shock tube with a single interface of sulfur-hexafluoride and air. We use combined particle image velocimetry (PIV) and planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF) to obtain simultaneous measurements of velocity and density. These measurements enable us to determine single- and multi-point statistics of vector, scalar, and combined fields. We use these statistical descriptors to study the evolution of turbulence mixing in RMIs under different Mach numbers and initial conditions
