Analisis Penerapan Good Corporate Governance Dalam Mengawal Tata Kelola Perusahaan (Studi Kasus pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI)
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan penerapan Good Corporate Governance dalam mengawal tata kelola perusahaan di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI. Dengan menggunakan design kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus (case study), penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara secara mendalam (indepth intervew) dengan auditor internal dan pihak-pihak yang menangani penerapan GCG dan observasi yang dilakukan secara langsung terhadap objek penelitian. Kriteria yang digunakan adalah Keputusan Sekretaris Kementerian BUMN No. SK-16/S.MBU/2012. tentang Indikator/Parameter Penilaian dan Evaluasi atas Penerapan Tata Kelola Perusahaan yang Baik (Good Corporate Governance) pada Badan Usaha Milik Negara. Penelitian menemukan bahwa penerapan Good Corporate Governance pada objek penelitian masih mengandung beberapa kelemahan pada Aspek Pemegang Saham dan RUPS/Pemilik Modal, Aspek Dewan Komisaris/Dewan Pengawas, Aspek Direksi dan Pengungkapan dan Keterbukaan Informasi. Walaupun penilaian GCG 2021 mencapai skor 89,09 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, diharapkan dengan temuan kelemahan oleh peneliti dapat menjadi perbaikan penilaian GCG dimasa yang akan datang untuk PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dengan mengoptimalisasi kinerja perusahaan dan mengurangi kelemahan yang dilakukan dalam proses tata kelola perusahaan menjadi baik
Simulation of a surface-transverse wave (STW) biosensor for DF-1 cells
No full textA 250 MHz Surface-Transverse Wave (STW) resonator is employed as a sensor element for the
detection of DF-1 cells. STW belongs to the shear-horizontal acoustic plate modes (SH-APM) waves’
family where it has attracted plenty considerable interest. STWs are horizontally polarized shear waves
which are generated and detected by the interdigital transducers (IDTs) similar to surface-acoustic wave
(SAW) resonators [1]. Detection of chemical and biological agents in aqueous solutions is a difficult
problem, especially when the detection technique has to be sensitive, power-efficient and very handy.
Acoustic plate mode is a mode of vibration where particle motion is parallel to the surface. This makes it
possible to produce a sensitive sensor capable of operating in fluids [2]. This paper presents the biosensor

Because it’s very light and handy they can do a lot by using one device, that’s some of the reason they using it, In addition, There are many gaming features that are useful for development thinking and logic of children and can be accepted and understood primarily by young child rent not only as an entertainment. Therefor the author makes an educational game that is android dental game that introduction application for elementary school students, as one way to simplify and understand that oral and dental health is very important to note from an early age. The prevalence of dental caries in children reaches 90%. Usually attacks in children aged 6-11 years (25%) and adolescents aged 12-19 years (59%). If not observed then the impact can cause death. The game is presented in 2D visual form created with Construct 2 game engine and using Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) approach method of waterfall model which consists of five stages: Need analysis, data collection, application creation, testing and implementation. The trial results of the input blackbox and application output address valid the results. The results of the questionnaire on this application show that each question point averages 97.13 %. For that the the application is easy to use and can help toddler and little children Increase their knowledge about dental and oral health

No full textPhDThis thesis is about the kingdom of Aceh Dar al-Salam in the latter half of the
seventeenth century when four women ruled in succession: Sultanah Tajul Alam
Safiatuddin Syah (1641-1675), Sultanah Nur Alam Naqiatuddin Syah (1675-1678),
Sultanah Inayat Zakiatuddin Syah (1678-1688) and Sultanah Iamalat Zainatuddin Syah
(1688-1699). How and why these queens came to power, and how they exercised it, are
problems that have fascinated enquirers, prompting a range of comments and
observations, especially the assertion that the queens were mere figureheads, during
whose reigns the male elite (orangkaya) captured power. The Sultanahs were held
responsible for the erosion of royal power and the kingdom's decline in the seventeenth
century. Yet no in-depth study has ever investigated these claims. The main objective of
this thesis is to evaluate the received views on these female sovereigns. The thesis also
seeks to examine the origin, nature and impact of these Sultanahs. Female rule seems a
curious phenomenon in a Muslim state. Furthermore, in a largely patriarchal kingdom
such as Aceh, queens seemed to be strangely out of place. This unique episode in Aceh's
history happened when European Companies - the Dutch VOC (Veerinigde Ooost-Indische
Compagnie) and the English East India Company - were gradually increasing their
commercial hold and flexing their military muscles in the region. Indigenous polities
suffered increasing interference and pressure from Westerners. Most Malay and Muslim
coastal polities in maritime Southeast Asia fell into European intruders' hands. By
exploring the circumstances and arguments surrounding female accession, and
examining some key episodes that show how power worked in Aceh at the time, I hope
to approach a new understanding of how and why the male elite of Aceh placed the fate
of the kingdom in the hands of women, and with what effects

The year started out with a yearbook Conference in
Lethbridge. Ct was a long two days, which set the basis for
the next nine months. Only a few of us could attend but by the
end of the year you couldn't tell because everyone had mastered
the yeartech On-line Program!
Our theme this year was music and songs. Our very diverse
class presented us with a very diverse mix of music throughout
the book, mainly using the titles rather than the entire song.
.As Editor of the 2007 yearbook <7 was quite pleased to find a wonderful array of staff
and talent. For the first semester we had a rather large class but we made it work and
everyone's hard work payed off. Flundreds of hours later we are showcasing an amazing
book/ filled with memories talents and dreams of students come and gone.

Replicating a COVID-19 study in a national England database to assess the generalisability of research with regional electronic health record data
No full textObjectives To assess the degree to which we can replicate a study between a regional and a national database of electronic health record data in the UK. The original study examined the risk factors associated with hospitalisation following COVID-19 infection in people with diabetes.Design A replication of a retrospective cohort study.Setting Observational electronic health record data from primary and secondary care sources in the UK. The original study used data from a large, urbanised region (Greater Manchester Care Record, Greater Manchester, UK—2.8 m patients). This replication study used a national database covering the whole of England, UK (NHS England’s Secure Data Environment service for England, accessed via the BHF Data Science Centre’s CVD-COVID-UK/COVID-IMPACT Consortium—54 m patients).Participants Individuals with a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes prior to a positive COVID-19 test result. The matched controls (3:1) were individuals who had a positive COVID-19 test result, but who did not have a diagnosis of diabetes on the date of their positive COVID-19 test result. Matching was done on age at COVID-19 diagnosis, sex and approximate date of COVID-19 test.Primary and secondary outcome measures Hospitalisation within 28 days of a positive COVID-19 test.Results We found that many of the effect sizes did not show a statistically significant difference, but that some did. Where effect sizes were statistically significant in the regional study, then they remained significant in the national study and the effect size was the same direction and of similar magnitude.Conclusions There is some evidence that the findings from studies in smaller regional datasets can be extrapolated to a larger, national setting. However, there were some differences, and therefore replication studies remain an essential part of healthcare research
