    Hutan mangrove memiliki tingkat penyerapan dan penyimpanan karbon yang tinggi, perhitungan stok karbon diperlukan untuk menghitung estimasi karbon yang tersimpan di suatu lokasi sebagai penentuan keterlibatannya dalam penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi biomassa permukaan dan stok karbon di Perairan Estuari Dompak dengan menggunakan perhitungan allometrik dari data above ground biomassa (AGB). Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data penelitian ini adalah metode tanpa pemanenan (non-destructive) menggunakan pendekatan persamaan allometrik sesuai dengan SNI (standar Nasional Indonesia) 7724:2011 yang digunakan untuk mengetahui estimasi biomassa permukaan dan stok karbon mangrove. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa pengukuran diameter batang pohon, pancang, semai dan pengukuran tinggi pohon/kayu mati rebah atau berdiri. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, estimasi total biomassa permukaan mangrove sebesar 220,27 ton/ha, dengan estimasi stok karbon adalah 103,53 ton/ha. Estimasi stok karbon tertinggi terdapat di stasiun 1 yang merupakan area berdekatan dengan jembatan, yaitu sebesar 44.01 ton/ha, sedangkan estimasi stok karbon terendah terdapat di stasiun 2, yaitu sebesar 22.47 ton/ha yang merupakan area berdekatan dengan pemukiman masyarakat ke arah laut.Hutan mangrove memiliki tingkat penyerapan dan penyimpanan karbon yang tinggi, perhitungan stok karbon diperlukan untuk menghitung estimasi karbon yang tersimpan di suatu lokasi sebagai penentuan keterlibatannya dalam penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca.     This thesis discussed the gait of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the character of social responsibility. This character development aimed to make students of Madrasah (School) Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Karawang gain a sense of social responsibility. Also, it aimed to make the students be accustomed to applying these characters in daily interactions where students are. This research was motivated by the low social attitudes of students during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the character of responsibility both to the personal and the environment. This problem made the author conducted research at Madarasa Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Karawang. This school seeks to make Islamic teachings the basis for implementing various characters, especially the character of social responsibility through various programs in the school. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The object of the research was the Head of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum Sector, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Islamic Religious Education Teachers, and Students. The data collection was conducted by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using triangulation techniques, data sources, and research extension. The results of the research showed Islamic Religious Education Teachers carry out a role in fostering the character of students social responsibility, like educating through and example, habits, advice and stories, discipline, participation, and nurturing. The use of existing methods and media was also maximized. In every step taken, there were factors that supported the implementation of a program and on the other hand, there were also inhibiting factors. In this case, how do we respond to it? These factors were: technological advancement factors, religious activities, living environment, friends, parents, and students. The author advised Madrasah should continue to familiarize and develop its programs, as well as support the development of social responsibility characters and students. The purpose is to make students obey the teachers and Madrasah rules to create a conducive learning atmosphere. Parents should be aware that in building the character of social responsibility, it is necessary to intervene from parents when students are at home. With a synergistic relationship between various parties, the objectives of the Madrasah can be achieved

    The mangrove ecosystem acts as a carbon absorber in the atmosphere with more absorption capacity than other types of forest ecosystems. The mangrove sylvo-ecotourism area in Tanjungpiayu Village, Batam City, is part of the forest and land rehabilitation program carried out by BPDAS Sei Jang Duriangkang in the Riau Islands region. In an effort to provide data and information regarding the potential for carbon absorption in mangrove forest ecosystems resulting from the rehabilitation program, it is necessary to calculate the stored carbon stock as a reference for monitoring in subsequent years. The research was carried out from August to September 2023. The method used was the roaming method without harvesting using an allometric model. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the value of biomass, carbon stock and CO2 absorption. The analysis results show that the average total mangrove biomass at the top surface (ABG) and below the surface (BGB) is 420.50 tons/Ha with a biomass composition of AGB of 265.23 tons/Ha, and BGB of 155.27 tons/Ha. Ha. The average value of total carbon stock is 197.63 tonC/Ha with a carbon stock composition of AGB of 124.66 tonC/Ha and BGB of 72.97 tonC/Ha. Furthermore, the average value of total carbon uptake is 724.65 CO2 e ton /Ha with a carbon uptake composition of ABG of 457.07 CO2 e ton /Ha and BGB of 267.58 CO2 e ton /Ha

    Estimation of Potential Carbon Stocks in Mangrove Ecosystems in the Riau Islands

    Global warming is characterized by high concentrations of greenhouse gas emissions, namely CO2, in the atmosphere. Mangrove ecosystems play a role in mitigating global climate change because they can absorb carbon through photosynthesis and then store it in a carbon pool, which includes Above Ground Biomass (AGB), Below Ground Biomass (BGB), litter or dead wood, and sediment. This study aimed to determine the value of biomass, carbon stocks, and CO2 sequestration in the mangrove ecosystem in the Riau Island. Carbon stocks were estimated by collecting data on AGB, BGB, and dead wood using the non-destructive allometric modeling method, and sediment sampling was carried out at 30 cm intervals until the discovery of humus soil. There are eight research stations spread across Riau Island. The results of the biomass calculation are then converted into carbon stock values and CO2 sequestration. The result showed that the mangrove ecosystem in Riau Island had a biomass value of 1854,54 tons/ha, estimated carbon stocks of 2052,78 tonsC/ha, and a CO2 sequestration of 7527,52 tonsC/ha. The mangrove ecosystem in Riau Island has an area of 79.228,91 Ha so it can store carbon reserves of 162.639.342 tonsC. The amount of CO2 can be minimized or controlled by reducing emissions and conserving forests, namely by improving mangrove management according to the function of mangrove forests
