Dados biométricos e de composição química de frutos de macaúba de ocorrência natural na região do Cariri Cearense
No full textA macaúba do ecotipo intumescens é de ocorrência natural na região do Cariri cearense, onde é explorada de forma extrativista servindo de complementação de renda para muitas famílias. Há poucos registros de características fenotípicas desse ecotipo. A fim de ampliar esse conhecimento para subsidiar programas de melhoramento e estabelecer estratégias de melhor aproveitamento dos frutos, realizou-se um levantamento de dados biométricos de uma amostra da população nativa do Cariri, bem como foram determinados os teores de óleo da polpa e da amêndoa e o teor de proteína das amêndoas e o perfil de ácidos graxos. Os dados sistematizados na planilha de resultados depositada no REDAPE mostram os dados brutos por planta e também estimativas de produção considerando um cultivo comercial de 400 plantas/ha da média geral dos acessos. Ainda, há uma estimativa de produção considerando apenas as cinco plantas mais produtivas em termos de óleo de polpa ou amêndoa.
Foram selecionados quatro locais diferentes na região do Cariri Cearense (município de Barbalha/CE) e cinco plantas de macaúba foram amostradas em cada um, totalizando 20 plantas. Da planta foram avaliados: altura da planta, diâmetro à altura do peito, número de folhas, número de cachos, número de frutos por cacho, massa do cacho inteiro, massa do engaço, massa total de frutos, massa por fruto (30 frutos por cacho como amostra), diâmetro longitudinal, massa de cada parte do fruto.
De cada planta foi separada uma amostra de 30 frutos maduros da porção mediana do cacho para as determinações. Em 10 frutos foram avaliados os parâmetros biométricos e a polpa e amêndoa separadas para a determinação da umidade, em estufa a 105 °C, no laboratório do Instituto Federal do Ceará–IFCE, campus Crato. Os 20 frutos restantes foram despolpados e quebrados para a retirada da amêndoa, ambas as frações foram secas 70 °C por 32 h. A seguir, material seco foi encaminhado para a Embrapa Agroenergia para a determinação de teor de óleo na amêndoa (3 h de extração no (Ankom) e polpa (1 hora de extração no Ankom) (método AOCS Am - 5-04), teor de proteína na amêndoa (método AOCS Ba 4e-93S). A análise de perfil de ácidos graxos do óleo da amêndoa e polpa foi realizada por método de extração e metilação direta na amostra integral e determinação dos ésteres metílicos de ácidos graxos por cromatografia gasosa (EN ISO 12966-2 modificada). As análises foram realizadas em triplicata.
As planilhas depositadas no REDAPE mostram os dados brutos de biometria das plantas, dos frutos e de composição e rendimentos. Na planilha de rendimentos consta também uma estimativa de produção de frutos e óleos considerando um cultivo comercial de 400 plantas/ha da média geral dos acessos.Macaúba of the ecotype intumescens is naturally occurring in the Cariri region of Ceará, where it is exploited in an extractive way, serving as an income supplement for many families. There are few records of phenotypic characteristics of this ecotype. In order to expand this knowledge to support breeding programs and establish strategies for better use of the fruits, a survey of biometric data from a sample of the native population of Cariri was carried out, as well as the oil contents of the pulp and kernel were determined. and kernel protein content and fatty acid profile. The systematized data in the results spreadsheet deposited at REDAPE show the raw data per plant and also production estimates considering a commercial crop of 400 plants/ha of the general average of accessions. Still, there is a production estimate considering only the five most productive plants in terms of pulp or kernel oil.
Four different sites were selected in the region of Cariri Cearense (municipality of Barbalha/CE) and five macaúba plants were sampled in each one, totaling 20 plants. From the plant were evaluated: plant height, diameter at breast height, number of leaves, number of bunches, number of fruits per bunch, whole bunch weight, stalk weight, total fruit weight, weight per fruit (30 fruits per bunch as sample), longitudinal diameter, mass of each part of the fruit.
A sample of 30 ripe fruits from the middle portion of the bunch was taken from each plant to evaluate the biometric characteristics. In 10 fruits, the biometric parameters were evaluated and the pulp and kernel separated for the determination of moisture, in an oven at 105 °C, in the laboratory of the Federal Institute of Ceará – IFCE, Crato campus. The 20 remaining fruits were pulped and broken to remove the kernel, both fractions were dried at 70 °C for 32 h. Then, the dry material was sent to Embrapa Agroenergia for the determination of oil content in the kernel (3 h of extraction in the (Ankom) and pulp (1 hour of extraction in the Ankom) (AOCS Am method - 5-04), of protein in kernel (AOCS Ba 4e-93S method).The analysis of fatty acid profile of kernel oil and pulp was performed by extraction method and direct methylation in the whole sample and determination of fatty acid methyl esters by gas chromatography ( EN ISO 12966-2 modified.) The analyzes were performed in triplicate.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
