Marina Tsvetáyeva, traductora de Federico García Lorca: historia y poética de las traducciones perdidas al francés
The article is concerned with the history of Marina Tsvetayeva’s last poetic work completed shortly before her death, namely her translations of poems by Federico García Lorca into Russian and French. The study presents previously unknown facts from Tsvetayeva’s creative biography to the academic community, and summarizes the results of the author’s archival, bibliographic, and textual critical work. The article focuses on Tsvetayeva’s five previously unknown translations of García Lorca’s poems into French that were recently discovered and published by the author (2020). Tsvetayeva’s notebook, her extant letters, memoirs and other sources are used to reconstruct the immediate historical and literary context, to describe the details of Tsvetayeva’s creative process, to establish the principles behind the choice of texts to be translated, and to identify the person by whom she was commissioned to produce the translations. Special emphasis is placed on the description of Tsvetayeva’s cultural outlook as regards Spanish culture. In addition, a comparative characterization of Tsvetayeva’s translation technique is provided based on her translations of García Lorca into Russian and French. The present study aims to enhance our understanding of Tsvetayeva’s artistic method and her poetic techniques in both Russian and French, as well as to establish new facts in the history of Russian-Spanish literary relations. * Corresponding Author [email protected] The phytoplankton community gives a fast response to changes in the quality of sea water, by what is considered an effective tool for the evaluation of alterations of the marine environment and to understand the dynamics between the natural environment and the artificial structures. The aim of this work was evaluated the quality of the sea water in a marina “Pasito Blanco”, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. The marina has a linear dock 400 m long and a mouth of 45 m with a surface 43,045 m2 of confined waters and a depth between 3 and 7 meters. It has 388 points mooring for boats from six meters to 40 meters in length, being its level of occupation virtually 100% throughout the year. From March 2009 to February 2010T (monthly) in eight points, distributed internal and externally to the harbor, water samples were collected. Oxygen, nitrate, phosphate, silicate and chlorophyll-a concentrations, sea water temperature and salinity and the identification and quantification of organisms of the phytoplankton community were made. The inner zone had the highest concentrations of all nutrients and chlorophyll-a. The phosphate concentrations ranged between 0.26 and 4.48 μMol with the highest in August. The nitrate concentrations ranged from 0.810 to 39.62 μMol, with highest concentrations in November and February. The silicate concentrations ranged from 0.57 to 11.75 μMol, with high significant temporal variability. The chlorophyll-a concentrations ranged from 0.05 to 2.27 μ L-1 and showed in July the largest concentration. The accumulation of nutrients in the inner part of the harbor, promotes algal blooms caused by the diatoms Thalassiosira sp and Guinardia striata, the dinoflagellate Prorocentrum triestinum, and the prasinophyceans and cryptophyceans. It is concluded that the confinement of water in a port system like the one studied, negatively affect the coastal ecosystem.ECSA 53 Estuarines and coastal areas in times of intense change. At: Shanghai. Transnational social capital and FDI.Evidence from Italian associations worldwide
Emigrant associations abroad are structured nodes of social networks; they are manifestations of a transnational social capital. Italian associations are numerous, spread across several countries, in some cases they exist since the end of the nineteenth century, and may count on high numbers of members. Also, they are robustly tied to the home country. This paper assesses the effects of Italian associations abroad on the bilateral FDI between Italy and the countries of settlement of Italian diaspora. The main results are that these effects are positive and strongly significant, especially for the inward FDI and relatively to the countries with the oldest associationsinternational migration, FDI, Italy

This doctoral thesis analyses the topics, development and style of the journalistic
columns written by the philosopher José Antonio Marina, in relation to the work
developed in his dissemination essays. The investigation includes an analysis of five
media stages the author has experienced (ABC Cultural, El Semanal, El Cultural, ES
de La Vanguardia, El Confidencial).
The tradition of the collaborations of intellectuals in the press, historically rooted in our
country, remains in the phenomenon of modern columnism. José Antonio Marina is a
representative case to study its philosophy in the newspaper, when the context of the
"network society" invites to rethink the meaning of the figure of the media intellectual.
The study aims to define the thematic axes of the columns, the features of the author's
nuclear and formal ethos, as well as the samples of internal intertextuality in his work in
the press and his essay work. To do this, the method of content analysis of the
columns is employed. This includes the development of a table that lists the identified
style elements and a record sheet of intertextual links. The research also uses a semistructured
interview with José Antonio Marina. For the theoretical context, a biobibliographic profile of the author has been prepared,
which includes a summary of the whole of his written work. In a second theoretical
chapter, the background and characteristics of the column genre are specified, paying
a special attention to its rhetorical dimension. In this sense, the theoretical scaffolding on the ethos of the columnist as a predominant rhetorical strategy is used to apply it to
the case study.
The results reveal the presence of five essential thematic axes: intelligence, ethics,
affectivity, education and curiosities, divided into more specific sections. The set of
registered issues and approaches help to delimit the author's nuclear ethos. Among the
rhetorical resources associated with the formal ethos, it is pointed out the technique of
"aesthetics and zoom philosophy", the etymological analysis, the use of neologisms
and questions, examples and metaphors, paroemias and citations of authority,
personal comments and appeals to the reader, as well as the final teachings and
proposals.
The conclusions include the most significant contributions from each of the thematic
areas. The pedagogical and divulging spirit of Marina's nuclear ethos is inferred,
associated with an essayist columnism, while the persuasive value of the rhetorical and
stylistic features of the formal ethos is synthesized. Likewise, the presence of a high
intertextuality between the columns and the author's books is confirmed. Finally, the
intellectual function of José Antonio Marina´s philosophy in the press is valued

China’s New Demographic Challenge: From Unlimited Supply of Labour to Structural Lack of Labour Supply. Labour market and demographic scenarios: 2008-2048
The paper focuses on the demographic and labour market consequences of the dramatic decline in fertility that has characterized China starting at the beginning of the ‘50s. It is shared opinion that a sustained decline in fertility below replacement level will provoke a decline in Total population, an even more pronounced decline in Working age population and very relevant ageing phenomena. I have recently shown that, on the contrary and coherently with empirical evidence, a decline in fertility provokes a structural lack of labour supply that determines positive migration balances and, finally, positive demographic trends. The paper applies the same approach to China with similar results. The decline in fertility, determined by the process of economic development and its impact on education and urbanization, but promoted also trough the one-child policy, will provoke a relevant and growing structural lack of labour supply, even in the hypothesis that Chinese employment growth should sharply decline. The implication is that in order to continue its road to economic growth and social development, China will have to rely on large and growing migration flows that will determine a demographic expansion. In conclusion, the decline in fertility, actively pursued to set a ceiling to population growth, will end up provoking the opposite result. The uncertainty about the age structure of the Chinese population makes it impossible to determine in which year China will start to be affected by serious labour shortages. Our scenarios do however clearly show that China will reach the Lewis turning point in the next few years and before the middle of the century will become the world largest importer of labour. Our analysis does therefore clearly suggest that any legal restriction to fertility and territorial mobility is totally unwarranted, and that China should start to consider educational and labour policies aimed to mitigate labour shortages. It also indicates the necessity to start an in depth discussion of which immigration and social integration policies could better serve the interests of China, on the light both of the experiences of other countries, and of the role that China wants to play in the international arena.Demography; Labour market; Demographic and labour market scenarios; Migrations; Lewis turning point; China
The Italian Labour Market and the Crisis
The aim of this paper is to analyse the effects of the crisis on the Italian labour market. The Italian labour market is characterized by deep gender differences and regional variability. The data show that the crisis lead to an increase in the gap of female employment rates and women?s inactivity rates with respect to Europe. The North of Italy experienced a higher increase in unemployment than the South, where many people withdrew from the labour market because of poor employment prospects. Moreover, in Italy, the increase in unemployment has been mitigated by the increase in the number of workers having access to the wage supplementation fund who are not computed within the unemployed. However, the heterogeneity in the system of unemployment benefits increased inequalities amongst the unemployed. Using a micro simulation techniques, we estimate the effect of the crisis on income distribution and poverty and find that at the national level, the population showed a reduction in equivalised household income by about 1 percent. The limited impact on household?s equivalent income can be connected to the relatively high share of unemployed who are young with relatively low income and sustained by other members of the householdlabour market, poverty, economic crisis
Dynamic Adverse Selection and the Size of the Informed Side of the Market
In this paper we examine the problem of dynamic adverse selection in a stylized market where the quality of goods is a seller’s private information. We show that in equilibrium all goods can be traded if a simple piece of information is made publicly available: the size of the informed side of the market. Moreover, we show that if exchanges can take place frequently enough, then agents roughly enjoy the entire potential surplus from exchanges. We illustrate these findings with a dynamic model of trade where buyers and sellers repeatedly interact over time. More precisely we prove that, if the size of the informed side of the market is a public information at each trading stage, then there exists a weak perfect Bayesian equilibrium where all goods are sold in finite time and where the price and quality of traded goods are increasing over time. Moreover, we show that as the time between exchanges becomes arbitrarily small, full trade still obtains in finite time – i.e., all goods are actually traded in equilibrium while total surplus from exchanges converges to the entire potential. These results suggest two policy interventions in markets suffering from dynamic adverse selection: first, the public disclosure of the size of the informed side of the market in each trading stage and, second, the increase of the frequency of trading stagesdynamic adverse selection; full trade; size of the informed side; frequency of exchanges; asymmetric information
