ISTILAH-ISTILAH DALAM PEMBUATAN GENDENG DI KABUPATEN KEBUMEN (KAJIAN ETNOLINGUISTIK)
Get PDFThe tile factory is one of the hallmarks of Kebumen Regency. In its use, the terminology in this tile-making process occurs only within the tile factory itself and only those entering the factory environment know the term. This is what makes the author interested to examine the terms that appear in the process of making tile.
The purpose of this study is to identify the terminology used in the construction of tile in Kebumen District, to explain the lexical meaning and cultural significance that emerged in terms of tile making in Kebumen District, and to describe the factors that determine the use of the term in the manufacture of tile. In the data collection using observation methods, simak methods, and methods ably. The data in this research are primary data. Primary data is in the form of speech owners and workers at the tile factory in the form of the terms used in making genteng.Penelitian is analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods.
The results of this research analysis, the form of terms in the manufacture of tile there are three forms, namely the form monomorphemic, polymorphism, and phrases. These terms are divided based on tools, materials, activities, and types. Based on tools, namely gejik, molen, gebleg, peret, rak, penampan, pusingan, sodokan, mesin pres, tobong, tungku, blower and garukan. Based on materials, namely keweh, kriwil and gunungan. Based on activity, ngluluh, unjal, diangin-anginkan, glenter, garang, obong, nglingga, tukang bongkar, tukang sortir, and peling. Based on the results, namely paseran, gendeng, plentong, magas, pres kodok, KW1, KW2, BS and rempon. The mean lexical and cultural meanings that exist in terms of making the tile amounted to 16. While the factors that determine the use of the term in the manufacture of tile, the terms in the process of making tile has existed since the first, the successor of the tile factory has never changed the existing term, and the influence of modernity is minimal.

Implementation of Tahsin and Tahfidz in Implementing Religious Character in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Khoiriyyah 02 Semarang
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the implementation of the tahsin and tahfidz program in shaping the religious character of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Khoiriyyah 02 Semarang. The background of this study is the importance of religious character education in an Islamic-based elementary school environment, where the habit of reading and memorizing the Qur'an is believed to be able to instill religious values effectively. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews with teachers, and analysis of documentation of tahsin and tahfidz activities. The results of the study indicate that the tahsin and tahfidz program at MI Al Khoiriyyah 02 Semarang is implemented systematically through daily habits such as dhuha prayer, tadarus, and joint prayer before lessons. Teachers act as role models in shaping students' religious character through exemplary behavior, habits, and strengthening religious values. This program has been proven to not only improve the ability to read and memorize the Qur'an, but also foster discipline, honesty, politeness, and motivation to worship in students.
