Perencanaan Mini Hidro Di Persawahan Pahae Jae Desa Nahornop Marsada Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara
The design and construction of mini hydro in Pahae Jae rice fields, Nahornop Marsada village, North Tapanuli Regency, aims to utilize the potential of existing water resources to produce sustainable electrical energy. With supportive geographical conditions, the river flow in this area has sufficient discharge to be processed into electrical energy through a micro hydro power generation system. This study involves analyzing the potential of river flow, selecting strategic locations, and designing efficient turbine systems. The methods used include measuring water discharge, calculating the power that can be generated, and designing supporting infrastructure. The results of this design and construction are expected to provide alternative energy solutions for local communities, increase agricultural productivity, and reduce dependence on fossil fuel sources. In addition, this project also aims to increase public awareness of the importance of utilizing renewable energy and preserving the environment. Thus, the mini hydro in Pahae Jae not only functions as an energy source, but also as a model of sustainable development that can be applied in other areas with similar potential.
 
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

The National Sports Week (PON) is one of the largest sporting events in Indonesia held every four years. Aceh and North Sumatra are the organizers of the XXI PON 2024. The implementation of PON in the North Sumatra region is a special concern by all parties. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Medan Utara takes part in maintaining electricity stability during PON activities, UP3 Medan Utara conducts an electricity reliability system without blinking, namely by backing up the load, and to find out the number of load requirements that are supplied and know the function of each unit of electrical equipment used from the measurement of installed power in the building is 41,500 Watts, 400 kVA transformer, 40 kVA UPS, 100 kVA generator and 250 kVA UGB. From the results of measurements taken in getting the value of cable measurements R (I = 36.17 and F = 50.20 Hz), S (I = 15.22 and F = 50.21 Hz), T (I = 24.48 and F = 50.21 Hz) and N (I = 25.46 and F = 50.19 Hz)
Analisis Penggunaan Ketenagalistrikan Golongan R1-R3 Di Wilayah Sumatera Utara: Universitas medan area
Rumah tangga menjadi salah satu konsumen listrik terbesar dengan peningkatan konsumsi yang signifikan setiap tahunnya. Pola konsumsi listrik rumah tangga ini menjadi indikator penting dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan infrastruktur kelistrikan nasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi pola konsumsi listrik rumah tangga, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumsi, serta merumuskan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan listrik. Analisis yang dilakukan mencakup pengumpulan data konsumsi listrik dari sampel rumah tangga, analisis statistik pola penggunaan, serta wawancara mendalam dengan konsumen. Hasil yang di analisis pada pelanggan RI (450 VA) beban 0.8334 kWh, pelanggan RI (900 VA) beban 1.188 kWh, pelanggan RI (1300 VA) 1.592 kWh, pelanggan RI (2200 VA) beban 2.196 kWh, pelanggan R2 (3500 - 5500 VA) beban beban 4.711 kWh , dan pelanggan R3 (>6600 VA) beban 6.652 kWh
Analisa Kualitas Daya Listrik Kapasitas 4400w Dengan Beban Non Linier
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas daya listrik pada sistem berkapasitas 4400W dengan beban nonlinier, yang semakin umum dalam instalasi rumah tangga dan industri kecil. Distorsi harmonik yang dihasilkan oleh beban nonlinier, seperti peralatan elektronik dan sistem konversi daya, dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah pada sistem kelistrikan. Metode penelitian meliputi pengukuran parameter kualitas daya, seperti tegangan, arus, dan distorsi harmonik total (THD), pada berbagai kondisi beban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban nonlinier menyebabkan distorsi harmonik yang signifikan, dengan nilai THD melebihi standar yang direkomendasikan. Pemasangan kapasitor bank dievaluasi sebagai solusi untuk mengurangi distorsi harmonik dan meningkatkan faktor daya. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang dampak beban nonlinier terhadap kualitas daya listrik dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem kelistrikan
