Fadel Pelumas Indonesia telah menerapkan sistem informasi akuntansi dengan tepat dalam proses penjualan dan penagihan piutang. Metode dan tekhnologi informasi yang digunakan sangat mendukung keefektifan dalam penerimaan kas. Sistem pengendalian intern cukup memadai dalam operasional kegiatan Perusahaan. Emission standards development for an I/M program
This paper presents the results of vehicle exhaust measurements that were used to establish emission standards for an I/M program. For this purpose, a total number of 100 private autos distributed across model years ranging between 1972 and 2002 were tested under idling conditions. The monitored indicators included air to fuel ratio (%), CO (%), CO2 (%), HC (ppm), NOx (ppm) and O2 (%). Private autos with model years greater than 1994 were found to be compliant with international standards and are relatively well maintained. Emissions from older models increased significantly with lack of engine maintenance. The paper concludes with criteria for proposing I/M emission standards based on exhaust measurements taking country-specific socio-economic characteristics into consideration
Desalination in arid regions: merits and concerns
Water, the essence of life, can no longer be considered a natural, self-renewable, low-cost resource in most arid and semi-arid regions. In order to alleviate water scarcity, new water supply sources are in need to augment available resources. Desalination has received wide acceptance in arid countries because of the alarming rate at which conventional water resources are depleted. The present study aims at examining the impacts of the desalination industry in water-stressed regions. The economics of desalination are compared with conventional and non-conventional water options, taking environmental impacts into consideration. Social and political constraints associated with desalination are outlined with emphasis on its merits and drawbacks in national and/or regional water policies. Effect of network roadway aggregation levels on modeling traffic-induced emissions inventories
Traffic-induced emissions pose a serious threat to air quality in heavily congested urban centers. While air quality can be characterized through field measurements and continuous monitoring, forecasting future conditions depends largely on estimating vehicle-emission factors coupled with mathematical modeling. Traffic and environmental planners have relied on overall average network speed in conjunction with speed-based emission factor models to estimate traffic emissions. This paper investigates the effect of three levels of roadway network aggregation, macro-scale (overall network basis), meso-scale (roadway functional class basis) and micro-scale (link-by-link basis) on emission inventories. Gabapentin in Cattle: A Pharmacology Snapshot
Abstract: Gabapentin (GBP) is an antiepileptic and analgesic drug that is
derived from gamma-aminobutyric acid. It is used as an analgesic in multi-
modal pain management, as well as an anticonvulsant and anxiolytic, off-
label in animals. Particularly, oral GBP prescriptions for cattle are becoming
increasingly popular. Since its introduction into cattle farm practices, several
types of research on GBP in cattle have been published, covering
pharmacokinetics and safety studies. Other studies concerning cattle
dehorning and lameness have found synergism when GBP and meloxicam
are co-administered. Because of the significant therapeutic effect of these
medications when used together, practical veterinarians might be able to
execute other surgical procedures on cattle without causing pain to the
animals. This is important because pain management and the prevention of
animal suffering are critical components of the animal well-being approach
in veterinary medicine. Oral doses between 10 and 20 mg/kg were safe,
and effective in dehorning and lameness, in combination with MEL. Such
dose is preferable to be administered 8 h before any procedure, as part of
the preemptive therapy. This review focuses on the clinical applications
and therapeutic effects of GBP in cattle, both for farming practices and
surgical interventions
