No full textGeraldina Boni, oltre ad aver curato l’aggiornamento del volume, è Autrice esclusiva del Capitolo Ottavo “Disciplinare e punire”. In esso si ripercorre l’evoluzione del diritto penale canonico dal Codex Iuris Canonici del 1983 alla recente promulgazione di un nuovo Libro VI De sanctionibus poenalibus in Ecclesia. Si descrive quindi la normativa ora vigente, soffermandosi sulle sue specificità e sulle principali innovazioni introdotte, nonché su alcuni problemi ancora da risolvere. Peculiare attenzione è riservata allo sviluppo della disciplina dei delicta reservata al Dicastero per la dottrina della fede e in generale alla repressione degli abusi sessuali, di coscienza e di potere nella Chiesa.Disciplining and Punishing.
In addition to editing the updated version of the volume, Geraldina Boni is also the only Author of Chapter VIII “Disciplining and Punishing”. The Chapter retraces the evolution of Penal Canon Law from the 1983 Codex Iuris Canonici to the recent promulgation of the new Book VI De sanctionibus poenalibus in Ecclesia. The now in force legislation is therefore described, by focusing on its specificities and main innovations, as well as on some problems that are still to be solved. Particular attention is reserved to the development of the regulation of the delicta reservata to the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith and, in general, to the repression of sexual, conscience and power abuses in the Church

Robust data-driven design of a jamming detection filter for airborne electromechanical actuators
No full textThe electrification of the actuations on aircraft is a technological trend towards a greener aviation. Electromechanical Actuators (EMAs) are a key item in the more electric aircraft concept. However, EMAs are still prone to the jamming of their mechanical transmission, leading to possible incidents when flight surfaces can no longer be controlled. Jamming detection algorithms are thus envisaged. In this paper, we conduct a large experimental campaign on a 1:1 scale airborne EMA and design a robust data-driven jamming detection algorithm. The designed algorithm is compared with a traditional non-robust model-based jamming detection algorithm design. The benefits of robust data-driven approach are experimentally evaluated on real faulty data with several performance indexes

No full textThe novel cationic diiron m-allenyl complexes [Fe(2)Cp(2)(CO)(2)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(2)(alpha,beta)-C(alpha)(H)=C(bet a)=C(gamma)(R)(2)}](+) (R = Me, 4a; R = Ph, 4b) have been obtained in good yields by a two-step reaction starting from [Fe(2)Cp(2)(CO)(4)]. The solid state structures of [4a][CF(3)SO(3)] and of the diruthenium analogues [Ru(2)Cp(2)(CO)(2)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(2)(alpha,beta)-C(alpha)(H)=C(bet a)=C(gamma)(R)(2)}][BPh(4)] (R= Me, [2a][BPh(4)]; R = Ph, [2c][BPh(4)]) have been ascertained by X-ray diffraction studies. The reactions of 2c and 4a with Bronsted bases result in formation of the mu-allenylidene compound [Ru(2)Cp(2)(CO)(2)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(1)-C(alpha)=C(beta)=C(gamma)(Ph) (2)}] (5) and of the dimetallacyclopentenone [Fe(2)Cp(2)(CO)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(3)-C(alpha)(H)=C(beta)(C(gamma)(Me) CH(2))C(=O)}] (6), respectively. The nitrile adducts [Ru(2)Cp(2)(CO)(NCMe)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(2)-C(alpha)(H)=C(beta)=C(gamm a)(R)(2)}](+) (R = Me, 7a; R = Ph, 7b), prepared by treatment of 2a, c with MeCN/Me(3)NO, react with N(2)CHCO(2)Et/ NEt(3) at room temperature, affording the butenolide-substituted carbene complexes [Ru(2)Cp(2)(CO)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(3)-C(alpha)(H)C(beta)C(gamma)(R)(2) OC(=O)C(H)] (R = Me, 10a; R = Ph, 10b). The intermediate cationic compound [Ru(2)Cp(2)(CO)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(3)-C(alpha)(H)C(beta)C(gamma)(Me)(2 )OC(OEt)C(H)](+) (9) has been detected in the course of the reaction leading to 10a. The addition of N(2)CHCO(2)Et/NHEt(2) to 7a gives the 2-furaniminium-carbene [Ru(2)Cp(2)(CO)(mu-CO){mu-eta(1):eta(3)-C(alpha)(H)C(beta)C(gamma)(Me)(2 )OC(OEt)C(H)](+) (11). The X-ray structures of 10a, 10b and [11][BF(4)] have been determined. The reactions of 4a, b with MeCN/Me(3)NO result in prevalent decomposition to mononuclear iron species
