Attraverso un'analisi attenta della tetralogia L'amica geniale di Ferrante, il lavoro indaga le dinamiche di potere, le gerarchie culturali e le strutture sociali sottese nei suoi romanzi. Utilizzando il quadro teorico di Bourdieu, è stato esaminato come le relazioni di genere, il potere e la classe sociale siano intrecciati nel tessuto narrativo dell'autrice. L'analisi rivela le sfumature e le complessità delle rappresentazioni di genere nelle opere di Ferrante, offrendo una prospettiva critica e approfondita sulle dinamiche di potere presenti nel contesto letterario contemporaneo

No full textIt is thanks to Ann Goldstein’s “elegant, burnished English” (Wood 2013) that Elena Ferrante has achieved such an enormous success, particularly in the Anglophone market, where sales have reached almost three million at the time of writing. On the other hand, translating Ferrante has made Goldstein exceptionally famous. “Translators rarely achieve celebrity status. But as Ms. Ferrante’s star has risen, so too has Ms. Goldstein’s. In a way, disregarding Venuti’s statements about translator’s invisibility when he claims that “Readers usually respond to the translation of a foreign text [...] as if the text had been written originally in their language, as if it were not a translation (1986: 179), Goldstein is today an extremely visible translator. Ferrante’s choice to remain anonymous has in fact given unprecedented visibility to her English translator, and nowadays Ann Goldstein is now “one of the most sought-after translators of Italian literature” (Maloney 2016)

UNA SCUOLA PER GLI EPERA: Mostra e Premiazione dei progetti per la scuola di Santa Rosa degli Epera; Prof.ssa A. Ferrante, Prof. L. Guardigli.
No full textVenerdì 22 gennaio, alle 10,30, presso l’Aula Magna della Facoltà di Ingegneria (viale Risorgimento, 2): giornata informativa chiamata "Una scuola per gli Epera". Da un'idea di turismo responsabile e sviluppo delle comunità indigene ecuadoregne nata dalla collaborazione tra Alma Mater e associazione Progeo oltre a Velisti per caso. 

Annarita Ferrante e Luca Guardigli, docenti di Architettura tecnica hanno coordinato, nell'ambito delle esercitazioni del corso, la progettazione preliminare della scuola, realizzata con tecnologie e risorse idonee alle condizioni geomorfologiche del territorio ecuadoriano e alle risorse locali. I ragazzi hanno potuto così cimentarsi nell’ideazione e progettazione di una scuola.

 I plastici degli studenti, esposti nell'atrio di della Facoltà di Ingegneria a partire dal 19 gennaio, sono stati presentati nel corso della giornata. E’ stato poi premiato il lavoro migliore, scelto per diventare progetto esecutivo per la realizzazione della scuola (Tesi di Laurea in corso).
