    Title: Support for Enterprise Applications in SOFA 2 Author: Tibor Blénessy Department: Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems Supervisor of the master thesis: RNDr. Tomáš Bureš, Ph.D. Abstract: Industry standards defining various aspects of enterprise systems were developed in order to make development of such systems faster and to increase interoperability. For systems created with Java platform, these standards are contained under Java Enterprise Edition. SOFA 2 component system provides a solid base for development of ex- tensive component oriented systems. Goal of this work is to propose and empirically verify the possibility of integration of existing industry standards for enterprise applications in SOFA 2. Proposed solution extends SOFA 2 with components for web user in- terfaces based on Java Servlet API standard and with components for persisting data into relational databases based on Java Peristence API. In addition, it integrates core technologies from the Java Enterprise Edition platform, which should make integration of further standards easier.     Maģistra darba “Modulāra dīvāna tehnoloģijas izstrāde” mērķis ir veicināt ilgtspējīgu resursu izmantošanu mēbeļu ražošanas nozarē. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika veikts pētījums par mēbeļu ražošanu ietekmējošajiem elementiem, un noteikta konkrētā problēma: mēbeles nav iespējams ekonomiski pielāgot mainīgajām dizaina un funkcionalitātes prasībām. Darba praktiskajā daļā, izvērtējot un salīdzinot četras iespējamās projekta alternatīvas konkrētās problēmas risināšanai, autore izstrādāja projekta priekšlikumu un rokasgrāmatu modulāra dīvāna tehnoloģijas izstrādei, kura ļautu pēc nepieciešamības pielāgot dīvāna formu, izmēru, funkcionalitāti, materiālu un krāsu. Maģistra darbs sastāv no 97 lapām, 16 tabulām, 19 attēliem un 33 pielikumiem.The objective of the master’s thesis “Modular sofa technology development” is to promote sustainable use of resources in the furniture manufacturing industry. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a study on the elements influencing the production of furniture, which served as the basis for identifying the specific problem: adapting furniture to the changing requirements of design and functionality is not economically feasible. In the practical part of the thesis, after evaluating and comparing four possible project alternatives for solving the specific problem, the author developed a project proposal and a project handbook for the development of modular sofa technology, which would allow the adjustment of its shape, size, functionality, material and colour as needed. The master’s thesis consists of 97 pages, 16 tables, 19 pictures and 33 appendices

    Apigenin, an Anticancer Isolated from Macaranga gigantifolia Leaves

    Apigenin, a flavonoid compound has been isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of Macaranga gigantifolia leaves. Isolation and purification of apigenin conducted using column and centrifugal chromatography and chemical structure characterized based on spectroscopic data. In vitro anticancer activity test against murine leukimia P-388 cell line showed potential activity as anticancer with IC50 14.13 µg/mL

    Creative Design Based on Mechanism Regeneration of a Sofa Bed

    Creative design plays a quite important role in mechanical product processing, which affects the mechanical development of all over the country. Much research on the mechanical design is carried on. The paper is mainly based on Yan’s Creative Mechanism Design Methodology, in which the author carries out some research in Type Synthesis based on the Number Synthesis Method. And kinematic chains of eight links and ten joints can be gained from embryo graphs. In the article, the author proposes a systematic method for the creation of a sofa bed. In the process, some rules are brought in, and the original structure is changed for other structures with the same functions but different shapes. At last, many probable schemes different from the original mechanism are obtained. The next step is to choose the most proper scheme in order to carry on the further analysis.</jats:p

    Mistletoes are used traditionally in Indonesiaas medicinal plant, one of this as anticancer. Cancer isone of degenerative diseases could be triggered by toomuch free radicals in the body, whereas antioxidantcould reduced the risk of degenerative diseases.Mistletoes reposted content flavonoids which known have antioxidant activity. Mistletoe potency as drugmaterial should be studied sa the utilization ofmistletoe could be developed. Antioxidant activitytest using "DPPH free radical scavenger" methodand toxicity test using BSLT (Brine Shrimp LethalityTest) method had been conducted on water andethanol extracts of mistletoe Dendropthoe pentandra(L.) Miq.) that grown on various trees (star fruit,mango, cananga, 'duku, sour-sop, kepel, mahkotadewa, and tea). The result showed that ethanol andwater extracte-ofD, petandra on all host plants haveantioxidant activity (IC50 value between 6.4 - 51.8ug/mL). The result of toxicity test showed that ethanolextract of mistletoe on cananga, starfruit, kepel andmahkota dewa host plants have toxicity effect againstA. salina larvae with LCso value below 1000 ug/mL,nevertheless ethanol extract on others host plants andwater extract didn It give toxicity effect against A.salina larvae (LC50 &gt; 1000 ug/mL)

    Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder Dari Fraksi Aktif Antioksidan Kulit Batang Siuri (Koordersiodendron Pinnatum Merr.)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder dari fraksi etil asetat kulit batang Koordersiodendron pinnatum Merr. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Kromatografi kolom gravitasi menggunakan pelarut n-heksana, etil asetat, dan metanol. Kromatografi kolom gravitasi menggunakan elusi gradien dari n-heksana 100% sampai metanol 100% sehingga diperoleh satu senyawa murni. Identifikasi kemurnian menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis. Karakterisasi senyawa murni yang diperoleh dilakukan menggunakan spekstroskopi NMR, UV-Vis, IR, dan LCMS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis, senyawa hasil isolasi menunjukkan panjang gelombang maksimum pada 345 nm dan 260 nm. data spektrum FTIR isolat murni memiliki gugus –OH, C=C, C=O dan C-O. Data LCMS isolat murni mempunyai bobot molekul 192,17 m/z. Data 1H-NMR dan 13C-NMR menunjukkan adanya senyawa golongan kumarin. Dari data hasil isolasi menunjukkan golongan kumarin jenis skopoletin. Uji aktivitas antioksidan skopoletin menggunakan metode DPPH tidak menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat dengan IC50 161, 9313 μg/mL
