No full textWe live in a smart age: cities, mobile phones, everything is smart. Does the word smart really mean intelligent? Unfortunately, the word smart can be used as sly, and sly is very different from intelligent. In case of mobile devices, a smart application could be a user-friendly tool to be used for the evaluation of the comfort conditions and heat stress inside the rooms. Unfortunately, in case of thermal comfort assessment, users are not aware that often these apps are useless or even harmful. Harmful because not skilled users who blindly trust in results obtained by such a kind of tool, could use them maybe even for professional reasons.
