Test of a small KLOE drift chamber prototype in magnetic field

    No full text
A small protoype of the KLOE drift chamber has been tested also in presence of a magnetic field. Drift spacetime relations have been studied. The resolution is about 110 mu m in absence of magnetic field and 130 mu m at B=0.6 Tesla. Drift velocity has been measured

The UA1 uranium-TMP calorimeter: project and results from first full scale prototype

    No full text
The project of the new UA1 uranium-TMP calorimeter is shortly presented. The construction of calorimeter modules is described. Results from tests of the first full size prototype are reported. Measurements of the response and resolution for electrons and hadrons have been done. The ratio e/h is near to one. © 1990

Dataset for the manuscript 'A Fiberized Metamaterial Device for Ultrafast Control of Coherent Optical Signals' by Iosif Demirtzioglou, Angelos Xomalis, Eric Plum, Yongmin Jung, Cosimo Lacava, Kevin F. MacDonald, Periklis Petropoulos, David J. Richardson, and Nikolay I. Zheludev. The research data corresponds to the above-stated manuscript and it should be read and interpreted in the context of its published form. Each set of data describes a figure illustrated in the published manuscript and is accompanied by appropriate captions which correspond to the figure numbers, axis titles and legend entries stated in the manuscript.</span

Dataset supporting the publication "Spectral difference interferometry for the characterisation of optical media"

This dataset is supporting the publication: K. R. H. Bottrill, M. A. Ettabib, I. Demirtzioglou, R. Marchetti, C. Lacava, F. Parmigiani, D. J. Richardson, P. Petropoulos, Spectral Difference Interferometry for the Characterization of Optical Media. Laser & Photonics Reviews 2019, 13, 1900007. https://doi.org/10.1002/lpor.201900007 The data reflects a new form of interferometry combining high phase sensitivity and excellent mechanical isolation. Measurements include the chromatic dispersion of SMF-28 of lengths ranging from 1 m to 1 km, the nonlinear coefficient of highly nonlinear fiber and the phase transfer profile of an integrated optical ring resonator. This dataset contains CSV files, whereby the data for each figure is contained within a directory of the same name. Data files are named after the Figure they correspond to and contain the data necessary to recreate the plots.</span

Gardes & P Petropoulos, published in Scientific Reports (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-022-19352-9) This dataset contains: data_figures.xlsx: this file is an excel file with different tabs. In each tab it is possible to find the data that have been used to generate each plot of the article, with the corresponding "X axis" data, "Y axis" data and, if present, "Z axis" data for contour plots. Each tab is named accordingly to the respective figure in the article.</span
