This photograph was made when Neil McCloud visited me with his aboriginal father Bobby Nganjmirra Bardjaray and friend Djawida Nordjorle. Both men are from Oenpelli. Neil had gone through law with both men and they came to Melbourne to initiate him into law. This photograph was taken utilising the design elelments of blue sky and green vines. The trunks of the vines and the rows create a pattern in the landscape, which is cut by a very slightly curved dirt path leading to and past the horizon. Photographer's blind stamp lower centre.; This photograph was taken at Roger’s home when I was visiting with my bother Dr Alfred Zerfas, who has been working collaboratively with him for some years. Roger has an infectious enthusiasm and energy, which permeates his numerous projects and interests. His wife is also a very interesting scientist. His specialisations are in Human Reproduction (contraceptive, AIS, HIV prevention), Human population growth and global warming.
