    En este texto se muestra la articulación que hay entre la ética de la liberación y la política de la liberación de Enrique Dussel. En un primer momento se hace una reconstrucción de la filosofía dusseliana para ubicar el desarrolló ético-político de su pensamiento. En segundo lugar se explora su propuesta ética para mostrar como la vida humana es el valor base que en tanto principio moral normativo se proyecta desde y para la materialidad de sociedades periféricas que son excluidas por el sistema y a las que se les impide el legítimo desarrolló de la vida humana. Se muestra cómo a partir de la reconstrucción de la idea de poder obediencial desarrollada por el autor, en el que ubica a la comunidad política como el ostentor del poder en sentido ontológico y desde la que se despliega en sentido material, la vida humana encuentra una herramienta metodológica que permite su implementación real. En último lugar se señala como desde ese sentido propio del poder, que es mediado a partir del consenso que permite el debate público, se configura el escenario político de interacción social en el que se despliegan los principios políticos que politizan la vida humana para que se establezca una buena sociedad.MaestríaMagíster en FilosofíaThis text shows the joint between the ethics of liberation and the politics of liberation of -political development of his thought. Second, this text explores its ethical proposal to show how human life is the main value in most of the normative moral principles that are projected from and to the materiality of peripheral societies that are excluded by the system and who are banned of the legitimate human life development. It shows how the human life finds a methodological tool that leads its material implementation thanks to the reconstruction of the idea of obediential power developed by the author in which he places the political community as the holding power in ontological sense and from which it is unfold in a material sense. Finally, this text displays how the political stage is set for social interaction in which political principles are deployed to politicize human life in order to establish a good society, from that sense of the power, which is mediated from the consensus that allows the public debate

    This systematic review will be conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines (PRISMA).PECO question Population: pregnant women without restrictions of age, ethnicity, race with and without low birth weight/preterm delivery Exposure: periodontitis Comparator: without periodontitis Outcome: frequency women with periodontitis in each group What is the association between periodontitis and low birth weight/preterm delivery in pregnant women? Population, exposure and comparator: The population of interest will include pregnant women regardless of age, ethnicity, or race with and without pregnancy complications such as low birth weight or preterm delivery. The exposure of interest is the presence of periodontitis, determined by clearly established periodontal clinical parameters or by means of periodontal indices. The comparison group consists of the absence of periodontitis, determined by clearly established periodontal clinical parameters or by means of periodontal indices. Outcomes: The primary outcome of interest is the prevalence of periodontitis associated with the presence of low birth weight or preterm delivery. As a measure of effect size, the odds ratio (Odds Ratio; 95% confidence interval) will be calculated. As secondary outcomes, the means of probing depth (PD) and periodontal attachment level (AL) will be evaluated. Search strategy: A comprehensive search will be performed from inception to May 2023 in the following electronic databases: PubMed/MEDLINE and Scopus. The search strategy will include appropriate combinations of free keywords and relevant controlled vocabulary (e.g. Medical Subject Headings-MeSH) terms related to 'low birth weight', 'preterm birth' and 'periodontitis'. Keywords will be searched in English, Spanish and Portuguese. In addition to the electronic database search, to identify any potentially eligible studies snowballing and screening of relevant reference lists of included studies, as well as grey literature search, will be performed through Google Scholar and SciELO. Study selection process: Only human, case-control, cohort, and cross-sectional studies that focused on evaluating the presence of periodontitis in women with pregnancy complications will be included. Intervention studies, animal studies, previous systematic reviews, conference proceedings, and case reports will be excluded. The inclusion language is limited to English, Spanish and Portuguese. Initial screening of titles and abstracts will be performed by two independent reviewers based on pre-determined eligibility criteria. Full text articles will be retrieved for potentially eligible studies. Two independent reviewers will then assess the full-text articles for final eligibility based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Any discrepancies will be resolved by discussion or consultation with a third reviewer. Data extraction: A standardized data extraction form was developed to collect relevant data from the included studies. The following data elements will be extracted: study characteristics (author, year, study design), participant characteristics, sample size, exposure details, comparison details, outcome measures, and statistical results. Two independent reviewers wil perform data extraction. Extracted data will be checked for accuracy and any discrepancies will be resolved by discussion or consultation with a third reviewer. Risk of Bias (RoB): The methodological quality and risk of bias of the included studies will be assessed using appropriate tools, such as the Newcastle-Ottawa scale for cohort and case-control studies. The quality result is rated as (7-9) Low risk, (4-6) Moderate risk and (0-3) High risk. For cross-sectional studies, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI-NIH) Quality Assessment Tool for Observational Cohort and Cross-sectional Studies will be used. The guide is not intended to be a checklist, but rather a tool to identify potential issues that could introduce bias. The quality of each study will be rated as low, medium or high (good). Meta-analysis: Heterogeneity between included studies will be assessed using statistical tests, such as Cochran's Q test and the I^2 statistic. As substantial heterogeneity (I^2 > 50%) is anticipated, a random effects model will be used for meta-analysis. Sensitivity and subgroup analysis will be performed to explore potential sources of heterogeneity, including study design, participant characteristics, and methodological quality. Publication bias: A visaul inspection of funnel plots and statistical tests such as Egger's regression test will be used to assess for publication bias to detect any potential reporting bias. Quality of evidence and strength of recommendation: The quality of the evidence will be assessed using the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. The GRADE framework assesses the quality of evidence based on factors such as study design, risk of bias, inconsistency, indirectness, imprecision, and publication bias. Based on the overall quality of the evidence, the strength of the association between periodontitis and pregnancy complications will be determined and graded as high, moderate, low, or very low

    ABSTRACT: Periodontal disease is the resulting clinical expression of an inflammatory process, initiated by bacteria and perpetuated during long periods of time. A series of cellular and molecular events occur with variable complexity as soon as bacteria start to accumulate around teeth. Although bacteria are necessary for the initiation of periodontal disease, the immune response is the responsible for the periodontal breakdown. The clinical appearance of periodontal disease is the result of sequential immune events. This article reviews the most important immunological mechanisms implicated in periodontal disease and their relationship with periodontal treatment.RESUMEN: Los cambios estructurales en las enfermedades periodontales, considerando desde gingivitis hasta periodontitis, son el resultado de un evento inflamatorio, que es iniciado y perpetuado por bacterias por largos períodos de tiempo. Una serie de eventos celulares y moleculares ocurren en diferentes grados de complejidad tan pronto las bacterias comienzan a acumularse alrededor de los dientes. No obstante, aunque las bacterias son necesarias para iniciar la enfermedad periodontal, es la respuesta inmune la responsable de la destrucción de los tejidos periodontales. Fue desarrollado en la modalidad de producto para el curso de proyecto de grado (CPG) del año 2012, segundo período. El haber escogido el tema del proceso de micción como punto de partida para mi proyecto de grado, tiene una razón específica, ya que desde el momento en que realicé la autobiografía en investigación de proyecto de grado (IPG) supe que tenia que realizar algo para niños ya que el diseño para niños es lo que mas me ha gustado a través de mi carrera; la parte de la higiene nació en el taller de sistemas donde me di cuenta que la salud de los niños se puede mejorar con los productos que se les ofrecen y fue así como decidí atar un tema tan importante y de tanta trascendencia en la población infantil: la idea al baño. It was developed as a product for the Graduation Project Course (CPG) in the second semester of 2012. The decision to choose the topic of the urination process as the starting point for my graduation project has a specific reason. Since the moment I wrote my autobiography in the Research for Graduation Project (IPG), I knew I had to create something for children, as designing for children has been my greatest passion throughout my career. The focus on hygiene was born in the Systems Workshop, where I realized that the health of children could be improved with the products offered to them. This realization led me to address such an important and significant issue in the child population: the idea of going to the bathroom (urination process)
