    Tra gli scritti dedicati alla processione dello Spirito Santo più importanti del XII secolo spiccano per complessità e fortuna i Sei Dialoghi di Niceta, metropolita di Tessalonica. Gli studi dedicati a questo fondamentale testo e al suo autore, tuttavia, non avevano ancora chiarito né quali fossero le notizie certe sulla vita del teologo, né quali opere potessero essergli attribuite con certezza, ma neppure avevano ricostruito con precisione la tradizione manoscritta dell'imponente trattato teologico. Questo articolo fissa per la prima volta un punto fermo negli studi dedicati a Niceta, chiarisce la relazione tra Niceta di Tessalonica (olim di Maronea) e gli autori contemporanei di nome Niceta, ricostruisce la tradizione manoscritta dei Sei Dialoghi, delle Risposte Canoniche, delle Risposte Teologiche, e di alcune altre opere minori erroneamente attribuite al Metropolita di Tessalonica.     Eleftherios Venizelos Megali İdea'nın mimarı ve modern Yunanistan'ın en önemli siyaset adamıdır. 1864 yılında Osmanlı toprağına bağlı, Girit adasında doğmuştur. Girit'in Osmanlılar elinden alınması için birtakım ayaklanmalar düzenlemiştir. Atina'da Hukuk eğitimi gören Venizelos, Hukuk eğitimi sonrasında siyasete adım atarak 1910 yılında Yunanistan'ın Başbakanı olmuştur. Balkan Birliğiyle Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'na açtığı savaşta, Girit'in 1913 yılında Yunanistan'a bağlanmasını sağlamıştır. Balkan Savaşları'yla toprakları büyüyen Yunanistan, Megali İdea fikriyle İzmir'i ele geçirmek için, Yunan tarihinde Küçük Asya felaketine, Türk tarihinde Kurtuluş Savaşı'nın başlamasına sebep olmuştur. Eleftherios Venizelos'un başlattığı savaş her ne kadar başarısız olsa da hem Türk tarihi hem de Yunan tarihi açısından çok büyük önem taşımaktadır. He was born in 1864 on the island of Crete, connected to Ottoman soil, and organized a series of uprisings in order to take Crete from the Ottomans. Venizelos, who studied law in Athens, became the Prime Minister of Greece in 1910 after stepping into politics after studying law. During the war against the Ottoman Empire with the Balkan Union, Crete was connected to Greece in 1913. Greece, whose territory grew with the Balkan wars, caused the Asia Minor disaster in Greek history and the Turkish War of Independence to begin in order to capture İzmir in Anatolia with the idea of Megali Idea.
