No full textAan de Zuidwest kust van Walcher en bevindt zich op diverse locaties een duinenrij met steile vooroever. Toepassing van de Leidraad Duinafslag voor de beoordeling van de veiligheid tegen doorbraak onder superstorm omstandigheden is niet goed mogelijk. Daarom zijn voor een drietal maatgevende raaien tijdsafhankelijke duinafslag berekeningen m.b.v. het DUNER model uitgevoerd. In dit verslag worden de berekeningsresultaten gepresenteerd. Eerst wordt in par. 2 de toepasbaarheid van het DUNER model t.a.v. een duin met steile vooroever besproken. Vervolgens worden in par. 3 en par. 4 de toegepaste randvoorwaarden en berekeningsresultaten behandeld
Matilda and the Wolf : an Analysis of the Slovene Translation of Wolf Haas’s Der Knochenmann

The aim of this paper is to examine the target text regarding translation phenomena, particularly with regards to Prunč’s skopos typology (2000), which sway between the source culture and the target culture. The first part of the thesis discusses the author, his prototype pseudo-dialect style of writing, his work, adaptations of his works and translations as well as the content of the novel itself. The reception of the novel in the source and target culture is also described in this section. Two Slovene translators worked on the translation of this novel. They are introduced in this first part, which then concludes with Prunč’s theoretical model of translation types. The second part of this paper concentrates on the external text structure analysis according to Gérard Genette (1989) by presenting paratextual materials, like editorial peritext information. This is followed by an internal text analysis through contrastive research of text examples, which proves that the translators used both source text as well as target text oriented translational strategies, while applying the analog type of translation, which is prevalent in literary translation. Furthermore the analysis shows that other translation types were also used, depending on the translators’ decisions that were made from case to case.
