    9th Bet Debora Conference "Jewish Women: Being Present, Bringing Change" covered following topics: contemporary women’s perspectives on Jewish tradition; advocacy for other minority groups: activism against antisemitism, antiziganism, racism, and antimuslimism/ islamophobia, homophobia, and misogyny; modern Jewish education for children, youth, and adults; transnational perspectives on Holocaust remembrance; historical and contemporary perspectives on Jewish women in Yugoslavia and the former Yugoslavian countries - their commitment to the renewal of Jewish life across borders and to dialogue with other minority groups. The conference also provided an opportunity for an inside view into Jewish life in Belgrade.Conference organizers: Bet Debora, Germany and Haver Srbija. Bet Debora is a Jewish women’s initiative focused on the lives and the work of Jewish women in the past, present, and future. Bet Debora wants to contribute to the renewal of Jewish life in Europe, to support Jewish women’s studies, to promote a Jewish-feminist consciousness and thereby also the presence of women within Jewish Community leadership, to maintain Jewish women’s heritage, to work towards interreligious dialogue and to establish an international network of Jewish women. Haver Srbija, Serbia is a non-profit, non-governmental, educational organization that promotes a diverse and inclusive society in Serbia. Haver Srbija advocates against prejudice, discrimination, anti-Semitism, and xenophobia, foster intercultural dialogue, develops individual skills for creating inclusive intercultural environments and spreads tolerance through informal education

His father had converted to Protestantism, his mother came from a Protestant family. Martin Drucker was a lawyer and the president of the Deutsche Anwaltsverein from 1924 to 1932.
