David Audretsch: A Source of Inspiration, a Co-author, and a Friend
In this chapter, Enrico Santarelli discusses the profound impact that David had on his career. Beginning with a conference in Budapest, Santarelli and David bocame close friends and colleagues. They went on to collaborate on many papers and projects, several of which Santarelli highlights below
Dialogo con Enrico Palandri
A conversation with Enrico Palandri aimed at contextualizing his work as an author
Difficile fotografare un’idea”.In addition to having chronicled art and artists of the second half of the 20th century by documenting fifty years of exhibitions, art research, and major public events in Italy, Enrico Cattaneo (Milan, 1933–2019) developed a highly personal visual investigation on the modes, languages, and materials of photography.
These two facets of his activity, indissolubly linked like the two sides of a coin, are recomposed in the overall profile of an author capable of questioning the technical and conceptual foundations of photography.
As he himself has written: ‘The contemporary work of art is often made up of a tangible thing and an idea ... It is difficult to capture an idea on film.
ER:YAG laser for 3-dimensional debridement of canal systems: Use of photon-induced photoacoustic streaming
Laser-activated irrigation at subablative levels has the potential for complete tubular dentin disinfection in endodontics. In spite of the cost of the laser hardware, being able to reach the panacea of bacterial elimination and debris removal is a remarkable achievement and could be a paradigm shift in success rates for endodontic cases. Moreover, with the trend toward more conservative canal preparation and single instrumentation techniques, canal disinfection with an irrigating needle that cannot deliver sufficient volume to the canal terminus, PIPS seems likely to remove the gross canal enlargement impediment. Further investigation into smaller canal preparation sizes are ongoing. Any office that performs soft and hard tissue already understands the benefits of a laser. Adaptation of laser-activated irrigation to endodontics is a simple transition that is already understood by the hundreds of participants already trained in PIPS laser-activated irrigation. Similarly, a protocol for elimination of microbes from periodontal pockets using PIPS has the potential for selective removal of both inflamed and ulcerated epithelial tissues commonly seen in periodontal pathoses. The fact that the PIPS photoacoustic effect does not create thermal damage and will travel 3-dimensionally wherever there is fluid, makes it advantageous as a treatment modality for removing biofilms associated with periodontal pockets that are in difficult to access furcation areas and interproximal vertical defects

Since 1999, the date he announced his intention to write a cycle of plays based on the works of the Marquis de Sade, Enrico Frattaroli has created five works in this ensemble that bears the title The Sade convivium. In the document he has prepared for L’Annuaire théâtral, he explains his unique approach whereby he uses the works of Sade as a creative material rather than attempting to produce the plays or the novels of the French author
Root Canal Catheterization
The ultimate goal of endodontic treatment is the eradication of microorganisms, which lead to endodontic disease. Ultimately a triad approach to treating dental pathology in endodontics results. They are shaping, cleaning, and disinfection via irrigation and finally obturation. The complete sterilization of the root canal system is a daunting task and frequently unattainable due to the complex anatomy of the root canal system. However, a more reasonable and achievable goal is to bring the microorganism count down to a level where the body can heal itself. Current techniques encompass the use of chemo-mechanical debridement followed by a three-dimensional obturation of the root canal system. The cleaning and shaping are an integral part that must be carried out in a smooth, dynamic way and reproducible way. A prior comprehensive knowledge of tooth anatomy helped the clinician to perform the endodontic treatment safely and efficiently. In this chapter, a thorough description of the routine orthograde endodontic treatment will be addressed. It includes a comprehensive explanation of biological and technical objectives as well as the strategies of shaping the root canals. The armamentarium required to complete the nonsurgical endodontic treatment will be discussed including the use of nickel-titanium rotary instruments in contemporary endodontics. Objectives, requirements, and techniques available for optimal results will be explained
Una mirada desde la memoria a dos experiencias de teatros políticos locales. : En torno de los escritos dramáticos libertarios de Enrico Giulio
After considering the political background of Argentina during the three first decades of the xxth century, the author analyzes a very interesting example of anarchist theatre: Falsas promesas, one of the dramatic texts of Enrico Giulio, ceramist worker and libertarian poet.
The Schreber case: the discret charm of the paranoic solution
The author revisits Schreber’s Case considering the scientific and historical back ground context and expecially the development of the first group of Freud’s followers. The concept of inconscious homosexuality is examinated and compared to rejection of feminine. Moreover delirium is considered an attempt at making self-containing. In conclusion, the author suggests some considerations about the connection between paranoic functioning and psychoanalytical group functioning
