    Dilip Kumar: autor-aktor

Dilip Kumar has been praised for his sublime dialog delivery, for his restrained gestures, and for his measured and controlled underplay of emotions in tragic stories as well as in light-hearted comedies. His debut in 1944 with Jwar Bhata (Ebb and Tide) met with less-than-flattering reviews. So did the next three films until his 1948 film, Jugnu (Firefly), which brought him recognition and success. Unlike his contemporaries such as Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand, who propelled their careers by launching their own production companies, Dilip Kumar relied on his talent, his unique approach to characterization, and his immersion in the projects he undertook. In the course of his career that spanned six decades, Kumar made only 62 films. However, his work is a textbook for other actors that followed. Not only did he bring respectability to a profession that had been shunned by the upper classes in India as a profession for “pimps and prostitutes,” but he also elevated film-acting and filmmaking to an academic discipline, making him worthy of the title ‘Professor Emeritus of Acting’. Rooted in the theoretical framework of Howard S. Becker’s work on the “production of culture” and “doing things together,” this paper discusses Kumar’s approach to acting, character development, and the level of his involvement and commitment to each of his projects. The author of this article argues that more than the creative control as a producer or a director, it is the artistic involvement and commitment of the main actors that shape great works of art in cinema. Dilip Kumar demonstrated it repeatedly. Dilip Kumar wielokrotnie to zademonstrował

Bacterial leaf spot is a destructive disease in Rajasthan caused by Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria (Doidge) Dye. A field and market survey was conducted for the study of incidence and location. Dry seed examination of 103 seed samples of chilli (Capsicum spp.) belonging to 16 districts of Rajasthan that revealed a 10–100% incidence of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria (XAV) on Tween-80 medium. Two naturally infected seed samples of chilli carrying a 100% incidence of XAV were selected and categorized into asymptomatic (06.25–94.25%), moderately discolored (01.75–42%), and heavily discolored (01.25–27.75%) seeds. The heavily discolored seeds showed shriveled, water-soaked symptoms on their surface, and on bisecting such types of infected seeds, the embryo and endosperm showed necrosis and browning. The pathogen was found confined to the outer seed coat layer, particularly at the ramnent of funiculus in a few asymptomatic seeds. In moderately discolored seeds, the pathogen was found in the seed coat and the space in between the seed coat and the endosperm. It colonized all the seed components, including embryo and endosperm, in heavily discolored seeds. The pathogen caused necrosis, the formation of lytic cavities, a reduction in cell contents, and aggregation of the bacterial cells. The pathogen was found to be extra-as well as intra-embryonic

Transforming Livelihoods through Sustainable Farming and Livestock Rearing: The Journey of a Smallholder Farmer Dilip Kumar

"People used to call me lazy and useless. I was unsuccessful in every aspect of my life and felt completely defeated," says Dilip Kumar Roy, a 48-year-old farmer from Dharmopal village in Jaldhaka, Nilphamari. "Now, those same people come to me for my advice about raising livestock. It feels good to be respected finally." Just a year ago, Dilip’s life looked very different. He was struggling to support his wife, Smoroni Mohon Roy, and their two daughters on a limited income. With no formal training in farming or livestock management, he stuck to what he knew— growing rice, potatoes, and maize on his 200 decimals of land. He also reared five cows and some poultry birds, but the income from these wasn’t enough to cover his family’s expenses. Things went from bad to worse when a duck-rearing venture he invested in failed miserably, wiping out much of his savings. “I kept on making losses after losses,” Dilip recalls. “No matter what I tried, nothing seemed to work.

Exploring the dark sector of the extended FNSM at the LHC

We establish the possibility of having a pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (pNGB) Dark Matter (DM) candidate in the Froggatt-Nielsen Singlet Model (FNSM) wherein a direct connection exists between the DM mass and flavon symmetry-breaking scale. We find a considerable allowed region of parameter space for the ensuing pseudoscalar DM, which is dependent upon the flavon Vacuum Expectation Value (VEV) and Yukawa couplings, over which it may be possible to explain the fermion mass hierarchy. Finally, we choose a Benchmark Point (BP) and perform detailed collider analyses to probe this DM state in the context of Run 3 of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Specifically, in this model, one obtains large missing transverse energy (\slashed{E}_T) when the DM particle is resonantly produced from the decay of a heavy Higgs field, along with multiple jets from Initial State Radiation (ISR). Thus, the ensuing \slashed{E}_T + njets (n≥1) signature is an excellent probe of DM in this construct

Lepton flavour violating heavy Higgs decays within the ?MSSM and their detection at the LHC

Within the ?MSSM, a Minimal Supersymmetric neutrino See-saw Model, Lepton Flavour Violating Higgs couplings are strongly enhanced at large tan? (?30), which can lead to BR(H0/A0???)?O(10?4), for MH0/A0?160 GeV. Enhancements on the production of Higgs bosons, through the gluon fusion mechanism, gg?H0/A0gg?H0/A0, and the associated production channel gg,qq¯?bb¯H0/A0, whose rates grow with tan?, as well as the mass degeneracy that occurs between the H0 and A0 states in this regime, also contribute to further the possibilities to detect a heavy Higgs signal into ?? pairs. We show that the separation of ?? Higgs events from the background at the upcoming CERN Large Hadron Collider could be done for Higgs masses up to about 600 GeV for 300 fb?1 of luminosity, for large tan? values. However, even with as little as 10 fb?1 one can probe H0/A0 masses up to 400 GeV or so, if tan?=60. Altogether, these processes then provide a new Higgs discovery mode as well as an independent test of flavour physics
