Marketing in Event Management
The primary aim of the thesis is find out the importance of marketing in event management. It carefully explains various terminologies related to event management and marketing; and the latter’s importance in executing an event successfully. The secondary aim is for the author to gather the working experiences of the event industry professionals during data collection process on the basis of which he can set the base in developing and keeping references for his future career needs as an event planner.
The thesis writing process consists of two parts i.e. theoretical and empirical. The theoretical framework of the thesis describes key factors that are connected with the event management and marketing. Literatures in the form of books, journals, Internet etc. relevant to the thesis topic are reviewed and the process carried out during this stage is explained simultaneously.
The empirical framework of the thesis describes the process of collecting the data with the help of various research methodologies. In this case, the author has chosen qualitative analysis as the research method. The author carries semi-structured interviews with representatives of five different event management companies in Helsinki. Furthermore, the collected data is classified into categories and the patterns are explained. Developmental ideas are also put forward for the future researchers working on similar topics.
The research findings show that organizing an event is a challenging task. There are various stages of event management, which should be followed in a systematic order to yield better customer satisfaction. One of the most important variables of the management process is marketing which should be planned carefully to reach the designated target market

Sierpinski Bow-Tie antenna with genetic algorithm
AbstractIn this present work, the author has presented Sierpinski Bow-Tie antenna which is meant for the perspectives of triple bands. The designed antenna as made to resonant from 2GHz to 11GHz focusing on covering the aspects of 2.211–2.348GHz, 4.777–5.150GHz and 8.874–10.12GHz. As a result, it produces good coverage of applications, gain of 10.29dBi at highest frequency level, broadside radiation pattern and most importantly, the multiple band performance is achieved. Rogers RT Duroid 5870 substrate is used as it has a permittivity value of 2.33 with the console of the FDTD domain solver in the form of CST-MWS. The main motive behind this design is that on previous occasions, the gain factor is, as always compromised due to lagging in constructional point of view where antennas working for multiple bands suffer a lot, which is pretty much as achieved in this case. A complete explanation regarding the design of Sierpinski Bow-Tie antenna with its behavior has been presented. Genetic algorithm, electromagnetic optimizer highlights on parametric variation of the antenna. ADS platform is used for providing the lumped equivalent model analysis for designed antenna
Embedding RFID( Radio Frequency Identification ) chip into LPMS( Low Pressure Moulding System) with specific design
Low Pressure Moulding System (LPMS) is a type of injection Moulding system which is used mostly used to encapsulate and protect electronic components environmentally such as flash drives circuit boards. The aim of this engineering thesis is to show detailed steps on designing the product, briefly designing the Mould and how to put the RFID chip directly in Moulding process and finally showing the prototype for the Mould. The product design of this thesis is a door sensor key of Arcada, in the Arcada Logo. New design is named as ARC-Key. What makes this product unique from the original is that it contains Arcada Logo, which is good for marketing purpose, it is attractive, it can be attached to key ring, it looks good then the original rectangular shaped, the cost effective, easy to make, no glue needed in production of the product. The most interesting question the author is trying to answer is: the possibility of the embedding RFID chip while manufacturing of the product. The design of Arc-Key and the Mould were made by the designing analysis software Solid Edge ST3 which was prototyped by use of MasterCAM and HAAS milling machine. In conclusion, comparing with traditional method of gluing 2 half for the product, this research shares 2 steps of injecting the polyamide while manufacturing the product, first to inject the molten polyamide to certain level and after that robot puts RFID chip in the space and then again injecting in RFID chip to make the final product

Metaverse as driver of environmental sustainability : a systematic review and meta-analysis
Awareness of climate change and environmental sustainability issues are significantly growing around the globe. Every sector, including society, government, and non-government organizations, is continuously demanding more responsibility for the environmental, social, and economic impacts triggered by new innovations and technologies. These ingenious technologies are crucial for the development of products, services, and processes. As these technologies grow in importance, the focus on environmental sustainability is equally growing. In recent years, technology like the "metaverse" has seen a rise in use and is playing a crucial role in environmental subjects as a potential tool to inform and engage users with present and future environmental issues. However, research on the potential of metaverse technology for environmental sustainability is still in the initial stages, and there is no clear synthesis of the methods studied in this field. In response to these negative effects, the United Nations has established 17 sustainability goals which are expected to be met by 2030.
This field of study aims to accelerate and achieve environmental sustainability with the help of metaverse technology. Metaverse is drawing the same attention that the internet received during its initial era when it was a new and evolving technology. Similarly, the metaverse is still a long way from mainstream adoption and is constantly evolving. Presently, these technologies have impacted every sector, with some of the most affected areas being smart cities, education, healthcare, travel, logistics, and manufacturing. Taking into account the importance of these metaverse technologies and their expected impact on environmental sustainability in the future, the author has conducted a systematic literature review (SLR) to investigate their driving force. By searching three major bibliographic databases, 783 articles related to the topic were identified, and 29 of these studies were selected as primary studies.
A strong positive relationship between metaverse technologies and securing the environmental aspects of sustainability was observed. Although the results specify that the number of literature exploring the metaverse in environmental sustainability is growing, empirical evidence of its impact is limited. Based on the author's analyses, thematic, theoretical, and methodological knowledge gaps were identified. While Virtual Reality (VR) being the most widely used technology, the study highlights the importance of combining different metaverse technologies to improve environmental sustainability performance and emphasizes the role of these technologies as an educational tool to promote sustainable consumption. The results also underscore the metaverse´s potential to contribute to various SDGs, particularly SDGs 6,7,8,11,12,13, and 14, by enabling sustainable solutions, green technology, renewable energy, sustainable urban development, responsible consumption and production, and conservation of life below water. The study provides vital guidelines for ensuring a sustainable environment by assessing and adopting new innovative technologies
