Student geographical mobility and labor market outcomes: evidences from Italy
The aim of this thesis is to discover the association between geographical mobility and labour
markets outcomes of Italian early graduates.
Even if is an argument widely trated in literature, I'll try to investigate the evolution of the
\Brain Drain" process in light of recents event: the nancial crisis of 2007-2008 and the cut back
in higher education.
Migration decisions are closely related to degree of social mobilty in a country, especially where
there are strong interregionals dierences as in Italy where, analyse migration path evolution of
human capital might be very useful to policy makers intent to reduce regional gaps and improve
the \equality of opportunity" level.
Take into account migration endogeneity, the results suggest a positive eect of spatial mobility
on economic performance with dierences according to movement trajectories. However
some limits, due also to the lack of adequate data, indicate that further researchs are necessary
in order to identify a causal relation.
The thesis is strutured as follows: the rst chapter explains push and pull factros related to
migration and the connection with social mobility, wage inequality and regional development.
The chapter two presents an estimation of the return to geographical mobility of early graduates
wages while the third chapter present the estimation of return from geographical mobility in
terms of employment condition using a dataset summarizing information coming from three

Genesi e sviluppi di una nuova diocesi: una introduzione allo studio del caso bobbiese
The introduction explains that this collection of studies has been promoted to mark the thousand-year anniversary of the foundation of the diocese of Bobbio (1014) – which has been less studied than the well-known monastery – as well as the reordering of the bishopric’s and chapter archives. The documents which can be used to reconstruct the history of the diocese, are an invaluable and extremely complex group of sources and have yet to be extracted from other,
dispersed repositories, many of which have already been identified. The introduction also furnishes a few comments on the study of diocesan institutions and further suggests themes which have not been covered by the studies contained in this volume
La diocesi di Bobbio. Formazione e sviluppi di un'istituzione millenaria
By tapping into different disciplines and historiographical traditions, this volume provides a series of syntheses and thorough thematic analyses which enable to contextualize the peculiar case of the bishopric of Bobbio, established in 1014 in the Piacentine Appennine as an offshoot of the well-known monastery of Saint Columbanus. The mass of documentary sources available thanks to the recent reordering of the diocesan achives, which has also allowed to reconstruct the library of the cathedral, has required a general presentation and a specific attention to the foundation acts of the new institution. The detailed study of the historical context within which the subsequent events involving the diocese unraveled has been conducted in relation to the monastery and a selection of nearby cities. In-depth analyses of the territorial organization, from the civil, religious and charitable perspectives, are counterbalanced by analyses of the settlement dynamics of Bobbio and the structural developments of the church and the episcopal complex

Il nucleo episcopale e l'abitato di Bobbio in età medievale: dinamiche di un rapporto complesso
The establishment of the diocese of Bobbio in 1014 and the subsequent building of the episcopal complex are to be framed against the backdrop of the settlement which, from the Early Middle Ages, developed around the monastery founded in the early years of the 7th century following
a joint initiative of Saint Columbanus and Agilulf, the Lombard sovereign. At the current state of research, there are no archaeological attestations regarding the initial phases of the settlement. Written sources, on the other hand, only let us imagine the structure of a progressively
developing settlement, which remained tightly tied to the monastery and therefore organised in a castrum, mentioned towards the beginning of the 11th century. Late medieval documents are more abundant and therefore enable to reconstruct with more precision the configuration of the center. In this regard, apart from the original fortified structure, we can perceive the development of the center itself, to which we cannot attribute an urban dimension, even from a demographic point of view. Within such context, the development of the episcopal complex – whose main components were the cathedral, the canonry and the episcopal palace, which probably originated in the plebs created by the monastery in order to service the lay population gathered around the institution – was at the basis of a reorganization of the urban fabric. Such a reorganization can be evaluated from a long-term perspective holding the episcopal complex as a centripetal force which attracted not merely religious functions (but also commercial, residential, political and administrative), capable of influencing the set up of wide sectors of the settlement
Fernando Arrabal is a Spanish author - actually, no, he isn't. He is a francophone writer, or, more accurately, a Spanish expatriate. Or, on the contrary, he is a traitor, an «afrancesado». In this paper Fernando Arrabal's case will be used as an example of the difficulties that an author has to face when he leaves his own country and moves to another different from a spatial, cultural, and linguistic point of view. Besides, I will analyze the unusual position of the critic in the reception and interpretation of a corpus that, while being obviously connected to its author, cannot refer to a precise national context
