    This study aims to determine the effect of giving leaves bangun-bangun (Coleus Amboinicus Lour) in the ration to egg production, feed consumption, feed conversion, egg weight, egg yolk color and to find out level of administration of giving leaves bangun-bangun (Coleus Amboinicus Lour) in the best ration for egg production, feed consumption, feed conversion, egg weight, egg yolk color. This research was carried out for 6 months starting from February to July 2015 at the Farm of the Agriculture Polytechnic State of Payakumbuh. This study used 80 heads of 9-month-old laying hens, the brown isa strain divided randomly into 20 experimental units, and each experimental unit consisted of 4 tails and each individual was placed in a cage single. The chickens are kept for 6 weeks, and the data collection is carried out for 4 weeks of maintenance, every day the egg production is recorded, the eggs are weighed, each week the ration is weighed to get feed consumption, feed conversion, egg yolk brightness, egg yolk cholesterol, egg weight

    Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dampak variasi berat telur terhadap durasi penetasan dan tingkat keberhasilan tetas telur ayam KUB. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental dengan melibatkan 100 butir telur KUB yang memiliki berat bervariasi. Rancangan percobaan yang diterapkan adalah RAL dengan empat perlakuan, yaitu: A (telur kontrol dengan berat bervariasi), B (telur dengan berat 32,1–40,0 gram), C (telur dengan berat 40,1–48,0 gram), dan D (telur dengan berat lebih dari 48,1 gram). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak lima kali, dengan masing-masing ulangan terdiri atas lima butir telur. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi lama penetasan (hari), daya tetas, mortalitas embrio, dan bobot tetas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan di Laboratorium Produksi Ternak, Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lama menetas dan daya tetas telur ayam KUB dengan perlakuan berat telur yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,05) terhadap lama menetas, daya tetas dan mortalitas

    Science and technology program for community activities (IbM) of organic fertilizer / compost on plant wake was held in the herd Permato mudo villages and natural ox Silaing porch in the village below, the Western District of Padang Panjang, Municipality of Leopold. This activity aims to increase the milk production of dairy cows through the use of leaves wake up in the candy lick. The benefits of this activity is to assist farmers in improving milk production of dairy cows per day, so it can increase milk production which increased revenue. To achieve the goal of community service mentioned above, it has conducted lectures, live demonstrations on planting crops wake (Coleus amboinicus, Lour) are produced using organic fertilizers. Area is used as a demonstration plot is 2500m2 with planting distance is 30 x 40 cm, with NPK fertilizer 550 kg / ha, organic fertilizers 10 tons / ha and 12 tons of organic fertilizer / ha. Evaluation showed that the high activity of plant organic fertilizers 12 tons / ha higher than NPK fertilizer with organic fertilizer 10 tons / ha. Of these service activities can be concluded that the use of compost 12 kg / ha can increase height and crop production wake than that of compost 10 tons / ha with NPK fertilizer

    Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekoenzim berbasis daun Senduduk yang diberikan melalui air minum terhadap performans dan mortalitas broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimen menggunakan RAL (4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan). Adapun perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu P0 : kontrol (tanpa ekoenzim), P1 : 7,5 ml ekoenzim/liter air minum, P2 : 10 ml ekoenzim/liter air minum, dan P3 : 12,5 ml ekoenzim/liter air minum. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan berat badan, konsumsi ransum, konversi ransum, persentase karkas dan mortalitas broiler. Hasil penelitian ditemukan pemberian ekoenzim berbasis Senduduk berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap (p˃0,05) performa dan mortalitas broiler. Pemberian ekoenzim berbasis daun Senduduk hingga level 12,5 ml/liter air minum tidak menurunkan performa broiler dilihat dari konsumsi, pertambahan berat badan, konversi ransum serta persentase karkas broiler hasil penelitian.   Kata kunci: Broiler, Daun Senduduk, Ekoenzim, Mortalitas, Performan

    Effects of Additional Mint Leaf (Mentha Piperita, L) Fermentation on the Percentage of Broiler Carcass, Liver and Heart

    Research with the addition of fermented mint leaves in drinking water aims to determine the effect of treatment on the percentage of carcass weight, liver and heart. This research was carried out for 2 months in the Animal Feed and Nutrition Laboratory and in the broiler cage at the Livestock Production Laboratory, Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic. This study started from DOC until the age of 35 days, as many as 100 broilers were the subjects, 5 treatments and 4 replications were given. The treatments were without the addition of fermented mint leaves (A), the addition of 0.3% fermented mint leaves in drinking water (B), the addition of 0.6% fermented mint leaves in drinking water (C), the addition of 0.9% fermented mint leaves in drinking water. drinking water (D) and the addition of 1.2% fermented mint leaves in drinking water (E). The basal ration consisted of corn, palm oil meal, soybean meal, fish meal, coconut oil and top mix. The variables measured were the percentage of carcass weight, liver, and heart. The research method used a completely randomized design. The results showed that the addition of fermented mint leaves in drinking water had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the percentage of carcass weight, liver and heart. The conclusion is that the addition of fermented mint leaves in drinking water up to a level of 1.2% can be tolerated by broilers until the age of 5 weeks

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pemberian daun salam terhadap organ internal broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 ekor DOC broiler dengan pemeliharaan selama 28 hari. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan RAL (4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan). Perlakuan penelitian adalah pemberian infusa daun salam pada air minum broiler yaitu A (kontrol), B (10 ml infusa/liter air minum), C (20 ml infusa/liter air minum), dan D (30 ml infusa/liter air minum). Variabel penelitian terdiri dari persentase hati, persentase jantung, persentase limpa, dan persentase empedu broiler. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan pemberian larutan daun salam tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P>0,05) pada persentase hati, persentase jantung, persentase limpa, dan persentase empedu broiler. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian daun salam tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap organ internal broiler.   Kata kunci: Broiler, Daun Salam, Organ Internal Broile
