L'elevata dipendenza dai combustibili fossili combinata ai problemi ambientali derivanti dal loro utilizzo ha costretto i governi nazionali a sviluppare politiche alternative di gestione energetica. Una via per rispondere a tale sfida sembrava essere la produzione di biocarburanti da prodotti agricoli. Tuttavia, questi biocarburanti, definiti di prima generazione, han generato uno dei grandi paradossi alimentari: la concorrenza tra cibo e biocarburanti. Per eludere questo serio problema etico si sono sviluppati i biocarburanti di seconda generazione derivanti da colture non alimentari. Proprio in questo scenario l'olio non edibile dell'arbusto perenne Jatropha curcas ha recentemente riscosso una notevole attenzione per la produzione di biodiesel. In questo manoscritto viene descritto e presentato nel dettaglio un'efficiente protocollo di rigenerazione in vitro applicato a questa specie. Inoltre sono descritti alcuni possibili interventi di ingegneria genetica utili al miglioramento della composizione dell'olio. Questo libro si rivolge sia ad un pubblico interessato alle biotecnologie vegetali che a ricercatori specializzati nel settore.

Accented and Deaccented Definite Determiners in Notker's Translation of Boethius' De Consolatione Philosophae
No full textIn Notker’s translation of De Consolatione Philosophiae definite determiners receive a graphic accent in anaphoric and endophoric contexts, while determiners are not accented when the noun they precede denotes an abstract or unical entity. The study is based on Books I, II and III of Notker’s translation of Boethius’ text, and on a sub-categorization of Nominal Expressions which builds on the distinction between Semantic and Pragmatic Definites. I conclude that the evidence in Notker’s text supports the hypothesis of the presence of two articles in Old High German; I propose the feature of contextual identifiability that regulates the choice between the two forms of the article

Considerando alguns conceitos da teoria psicanalítica, procura-se aproximar a memória de que trata o romance Um defeito de cor com a memória definida a partir da psicanálise no intuito de verificar as consonâncias. A protagonista Kehinde narra suas memórias e costura os tempos não-lineares por meio da escrita uma escrita endereçada. Para fazer esta aproximação entre a memória conceitualizada a partir da psicanálise e a memória que se desprende das ficções de Kehinde, torna-se essencial investigar acerca da noção de endereçamento, da procura pelo endereço, da construção de um nome para remeter ou da construção de um nome ao remeter.This study aims at investigating the relation between memory and writing in Ana Maria Gonçalves´s novel Um defeito de cor A Problem of Color. Considering some aspects of the psychoanalytic theory, this study has the purpose of approaching the memory that is shown in the novel Um defeito de cor and the memory according to psychoanalysis in order to examine the consonances. The main character Kehinde tells her memories and sews the nonlinear times as she writes a writing that is addressed. In order to make this approach between the memory conceptualized by psychoanalysis and the memory that is unfastened from Kehindes fiction, it becomes essential to investigate the notion of addressing

Klassifizierung von weil-Sätzen: Didaktische und korpusbasierte Anwendungen
No full textIn this paper, we elaborate a classification of weil-clauses and show that it can be used for teaching German as a foreign language. In order to elaborate the classification, two theoretical approaches are compared and combined: the three-dimensional model proposed by Sweetser, and the theoretical framework conceived by Prandi/Gross/De Santis, the last of which involves the distinction between cause and motive. The classification can be used as a grid for the analysis of weil-clauses and must be understood as a tool for corpus-based teaching activities. In the end, transformations based on structural phraseologisms are introduced to highlight the final interpretation of the weil-clauses.Der Artikel stellt eine Klassifizierung von weil-Sätzen dar, und wir werden zeigen, dass diese sich im Unterricht umsetzen lässt. In den Grammatiken wird davon ausgegangen, dass Kau-salität durch einen komplexen Satz angemessen codiert wird. Jedoch wird in unserem Beitrag aufgeklärt, dass dies nicht der Fall ist. Es werden zwei theoretische Ansätze zusammengeführt: das Modell von Sweetser und der Ansatz von Prandi/Gross/De Santis. Im Anschluss daran wird eine umfassendere Klassifizierung anhand einer Korpusuntersuchung im DWDS vorgeschla-gen, die als Raster für die Analyse von weil-Sätzen fungiert. Darüber hinaus wird anhand des Vergleichs mit strukturellen Phraseologismen die finale Interpretation von weil-Sätzen beson-ders deutlich aufgezeigt
