值速度對女子捷泳選手成績的預測能力;(2) 比較
臨界速度及心跳閾值速度間差異;(3) 探討臨界速
度、 心跳閾值速度與 50 公尺、 100 公尺、200
公尺、400 公尺捷泳成績的相關程度。 受試者為
20 名女子捷泳選手，平均年齡 17.2 ± 2.25 歲
， 平均身高 163.9 ± 5.89 公分， 平均體重
57.4 ± 7.67 公斤。 所有受試者須分別接受 50
公尺、100 公尺、200 公尺、 400 公尺最大努力
捷泳測驗， 及漸增速度心跳閾值測驗， 依 D=CV
× t+ASC 直線模式計算出臨界速度 (CV) 與無氧
游泳能力 (ASC)， 再依心跳偏斜判定出心跳閾值
速度。結果臨界速度平均為 1.17 ± 0. 1 m/sec
，與 50 公尺、100 公尺、200 公尺及 400 公尺
捷泳成績相關依序為 -0.88、 -0.86、 -0.94 及
-0.99，皆達 P<0.01 顯著水準，心跳閾值速度平
均為 1.22 ± 0.09 m/sec，與 50 公尺、100 公
尺、 200 公尺及 400 公尺捷泳成績相關依序為
-0.85、 -0.90、-0.86 及 -0.83， 亦達 P<0.01
顯著水準。經 t 考驗結果臨界速度與心跳閾值速
度沒有顯著差異 (t=1.17， P>0.01)， 且相關達
0.81(P<0.01)。 以逐步多元迴歸分析考驗臨界速
度及心跳閾值速度共同預測不同距離捷泳成績時
發現， 臨界速度可預測不同距離捷泳成績，且距
離愈長預測力越高，其中在預測 400 公尺捷泳成
績更高達 98% 總變異的解釋力。ASC 在本研究中
與不同距離捷泳成績，相關均未達顯著水準。 本
研究結果顯示臨界速度確可作為評估中、 長捷泳
項目表現的指標， 而心跳閾值速度及臨界速度兩
種簡便測驗法， 皆可作為預測有氧能力的方法，
值得教練擬定訓練強度時參考。
The purpose of this study was to
investigate:(1) the critical velocity for
predicting performance of female front
crawl swimmers, (2) the difference and
relationship among critical velocity (CV),
heart rate threshold velocity (HRTV), and
(3)the relationship between CV and HRTV
with 50m、 100m、 200m、 400m front crawl
performance.Twenty female front crawl
swimmers with average age 17.2 ± 2.25
yrs,height 163.9 ± 5.89 cm and body weight
57.4 ± 7.67 kg,voluntarily participated in
this research.All subjects performed 50m、
100m、 200m、 400m front crawl swimming for
CV and ASC ( a linear distance-time
model,where D=CV × t +ASC ). Progressively
increased speed front crawl swimming for
HRTV, CP and HRTV were significantly
(P<0.01) correlated to 50m、 100m、 200m、
400m front crawl swimming
performance(r=-0.88、-0.86、-0.94、 -0.99，
r=-0.85、 -0.90、 -0.86、 -0.83).Related
t-test revealed that there were no
significant differences(t=1.17， P>0.01)
between means of CP(1.17 ± 0.1 m/sec) and
HRTV(1.22 ± 0.09 m/sec),but significant
correlation( r=0.81， P<0.01)was found
between these two variables.The 400m front
crawl performance corresponding with CV
alone explained 98% of variance.The ASC was
no significantly correlated with front
crawl performance (P>0.01).In conclusion,CV
and HRTV are two effective indexes for
middle or long distance front crawl
performance.

No full textCombatant memoirs are a valuable source for historians of conflict in general and of the Falklands War in particular, revealing experiences of war that would otherwise be beyond recovery. This chapter provides a previously unpublished memoir (written in 2006) of the Falklands War by Lieutenant Commander Michael Ambler (d. 2009), who served on the staff of Commodore Michael Clapp on hms Fearless. Included in the footnotes are entries from the diary kept by the author day by day during the course of the war. The memoir is introduced by Professor Helen Parr, who places the account in the broader context of autobiographical writings on the Falklands War and draws attention to its potential value as a primary source for historians of conflict
