Penelitian ini bertolak dari hasil observasi awal yang penulis lakukan mengenai kasus perceraian di Pengadilan Agama Barabai, hanya sedikit gugatan kumulasi yang masuk di kepaniteraan Pengadilan Agama Barabai. Pada tahun 2006 Sebanyak 241 perkara yang termasuk didalamnya 220 perkara cerai (189 perkara cerai gugat dan 22 perkara cerai talak), dari 220 perkara cerai itu hanya tujuh perkara yang dikumulasikan. Tahun 2007 Sebanyak 277 perkara, termasuk didalamnya 253 perkara cerai (219 perkara cerai gugat dan 34 perkara carai talak), dan dari 253 perkara cerai itu hanya delapan perkara yang dikumulasikan dan dua perkara dicabut, jadi sisanya hanya enam perkara).
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui praktik gugat kumulasi di Pengadilan Agama Barabai, Untuk mengetahui faktor menyebabkan para pihak mengkumulasikan gugatannya dan Untuk mengetahui dampak yang dirasakan oleh para pihak (pada kasus kumulasi).
Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, dilaksanakan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara dengan responden dan informan. seluruh data yang didapatkan, kemudian diolah dengan teknik pengolahan data yang sudah ditentukan, yakni melalui tahap editing, katagorisasi, matriksasi.
Berdasarkan penelitian, diketahui bahwa bagaimana praktik gugat kumulasi di Pengadilan Agama Barabai terdapat 2 variasi gugatan: Cerai gugat dikumulasikan dengan nafkah anak (kasus I, II, dan III). Cerai gugat dikumulasikan dengan Hak Asuh Anak atau Hadhanah (kasus IVdan V). Cara penyelesaiannya ada dua alternatif yang dapat dilakukan jalan keluar yang dapat ditempuh untuk melakukan pemeriksaan tersebut: 1. Pemeriksaan perkara perceraian dengan harta bersama, hak asuh anak dan nafkah anak, mengacu pada Tri Asas Peradilan, sederhana, cepat, dan biaya ringan. 2. Dengan meletakkan asas hukum acara pada masing-masing pemeriksaan perkara perceraian dan harta bersama, hak asuh anak dan nafkah anak, tanpa mengurangi sedikit pun hukum acara yang melekat pada gugatan tersebut.
Faktor menyebabkan para pihak mengkumulasikan gugatannya adalah Biayanya lebih murah dan waktu penyelesaian perkaranya juga tidak terlalu lama. (Kasus I, II, III, IV dan V).
Adapun dampak yang dirasakan oleh para pihak (pada kasus kumulasi) dampak positifnya adalah: 1. Dua perkara dapat selesai bersama-sama sekaligus, 2. Pembuktian dan saksi-saksi dapat diajukan (dihadirkan) bersamaan. (Kasus I, II, III, IV dan V). Dampak negatifnya adalah: a. Karena surat gugatan dibantu dibuatkan oleh pihak pengadilan, jadi pernyataan alasan-alasan mengenai kehidupan Rumah Tangga sehingga terjadi perceraian agak sulit diungkapkan Penggugat. (Kasus I, III, VI, VII dan VIII), dan b. Karena gugatan ini kumulasi sehinnga sulit untuk melakukan banding, semuanya terkait dan tidak bisa berkekuatan hukum sebelum semuanya selesai. (Kasus I, III, VI, VII dan VIII).
Memang pada dasarnya gugatan itu berdiri sendiri-sendiri, tapi Undang-Undang yang berlaku memberikan keringanan kepada pihak yang berperkara untuk menggabungkan (kumulasi) gugatannya dalam satu surat gugatan. Dengan dikumulasikannya dua perkara dalam satu surat gugatan ini akan mempermudah para hakim dalam memeriksa dan memutuskan hukumnya dan juga bagi para pihak yang berperkara biayanya uang dikeluarkan tidak terlalu banyak dan perkaranya cepat selesai.
Sebagaimana dimaklumi Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 1989 memperbolehkan kumulasi (penggabungan gugatan). Apalagi terjadinya gugat kumulasi (penggabungan gugatan) akan mempermudah jalannya pemeriksaan, akan menghemat biaya, tenaga dan waktu. Di satu segi dapat meyelesaikan semua persoalannya sekaligus dalam satu putusan dan dilain segi penggabungan gugatan akan mempermudah jalannya pemeriksaan, Sehingga tercapai apa yang diamanatkan pasal 4 ayat (2) Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 1970 jo. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
