METODE KLASIFIKASI DATA MINING ALGORITMA C4.5 DAN PART UNTUK PREDIKSI WAKTU KELULUSAN MAHASISWA DI UNIVERSITAS DARWAN ALI
College is one of the most influental education aspect for a nation’s improvement. The quality of a college is important to support and explore student potential. The quality of a college helps student to prepare theirselves in working world. One of the qualities of a college can be seen from the punctuality of graduating time for students. It is become important for a college to find out the factors that influence the punctuality of graduating time for students. Darwan Ali University is one of university located in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. Based on their Information System Management, in 2011, there are 707 new students. In 2015 only 290 students passed. It shows that only 41% of students graduate on time. The source of this research data comes from Management Information System of Darwan Ali University. The purpose of this research is to find the rules which affects the accuracy of student graduation. The data used in this study include departement of study programs, the GPA from first to fourth semester, and gender of students. This study uses two algorithms, namely the C4.5 and PART algorithms. The researcher also found that the C4.5 algorithm has better accuracy than PART, with an accuracy level of 83.004 %. Keywords: Classification, data mining, C4.5, PART
Implementasi Perpustakaan Keliling Untuk Mendukung Gerakan Literasi Nasional di Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Desa Cipeujeuh Kulon
Artikel ini membahas implementasi perpustakaan keliling di Desa Cipeujeuh Kulon sebagai upaya mendukung Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN) di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Desa ini memiliki keterbatasan akses terhadap fasilitas literasi, yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca dan kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan minat baca dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perpustakaan keliling efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan literasi dan kreativitas siswa di daerah pedesaan
Developing English speaking materials integrated Youtube video for management students department of Darwan Ali university Sampit
This research is aimed at developing English speaking materials integrated youtube video for management students at Darwan Ali University Sampit. The design of this research is Research and Development. The subjects were 34 students of the third semester of business management program at Darwan Ali Uversity Sampit. The researcher adopted ADDIE Model. ADDIE is acronym of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research used worksheet and questionnaire as the instruments of the research. The data were used to develop and evaluate the forth units of English speaking materials. It was found that the English speaking materials in this research are appropriate and effective for the third semester management students at Darwan Ali University Sampit. The findings and the process of the study can be used in teaching learning activity
PENGGUNAAN BATANG NAPIER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN NUMBER SENSE SISWA
DARWAN. Penggunaan Batang Bapier untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Number Sense Siswa. Skripsi. Ponorogo: Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan number sense siswa melalui penggunaan batang napier. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah tiga siswa kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Ponorogo yang dipilih berdasarkan rekomendasi wali kelasnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, tes dan catatan lapangan. Observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada saat pembelajaran, tes digunakan unutk mengukur kemampuan capaian number sense yang berupa tes tertulis, catatan lapangan digunakan untuk mengamati aktivitas siswa saat pembelajaran yang indikatornya tidak termuat pada lembar observasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dana pengambilan kesimpulan/verifikasi
Hasil penelitian yang menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan number sense siswa melalui penggunaan batang napier baik berdasarkan hasil tes maupun observasi pada siklu I sampai siklus II. Pada siklus I hasil yang peroleh berdasarkan tes akhir masing-masing MMN skor nilai 72, QRA skor nilai 81 dan ATK 80, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat menjadi MMN skor nilai 100, QRA skor nilai 100 dan ATK 100. Sehingga dengan demikian ketuntasan siswa dari 66,7% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Selain itu terjadi juga penigkatan hasil observasi siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu dari 79,79% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,05% pada siklus II. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus II sudah menjawab indikator keberhasilan yaitu nilai tes kemampuan number sense untuk semua siswa berdasarkan tes akhir minimal 80 menjadi 100. Selanjutnya aktivitas belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil observasi mengalami peningkatan menjadi 86,05% atau berada pada ketagori baik dan persentase ketuntasan siswa dikatakan meningkat apabila terlihat adanya peningkatan ketuntasan siswa meningkat menjadi 100% atau berada pada kategori sangat baik. Dengan hasil tersebut semua indikator yang meliputi pemahaman terhadap nilai tempat, pemahaman terhadap perbandingan bilangan, pemahaman dan penerapan sifat komutatif, asosiatif dan distributif serta pengaplikasian dan pemilihan strategi yang berbeda dan efisien tercapai semuanya sehingga ketercapaian indikator number sense berhasil diwujudkan.

Using web (e-learning) as a secondary study in English learning process at Darwan Ali university Sampit
The aims of research are to find out the role, function, and the benefit for students by using Web (E-learning) in IT at Darwan Ali University Sampit. This type of research is descriptive by using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, literature studies, documentation, and observation. The result showed that 1) Web (E-learning) at Darwan Ali University Sampit has a role to facility for syllabus of English learning process. 2) Web (E-learning) is an interesting and an attractive learning facility and there have functions for students: First, the students get of information and learning materials easily, quickly, and clearly. 3) they can get information and learning materials forms of media such as text, picture, and video. 4) The student’s skill in English could develop their reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar’s skills. 5) The students are more active and enthusiastic in the learning process because they have participatedted directly
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
