OceanografiaEste trabalho apresenta uma caracterização batimétrica e sonográfica da plataforma continental interna adjacente às praias dos setor abrigado do norte da Ilha de Santa Catarina, entre o Pontal da Daniela e a Ponta da Laje. Para isso, foram aquisitados 442 quilômetros de em linhas interferométricas, sendo o processamento da sonografia feito no software SonarWiz5®, e da batimetria, no HYPACK 2013. Nos dados de sonografia, foi extraída a coluna d’água e aplicado ganho, gerando mosaicos sonográficos de toda a área de estudo. Por sua vez, o processamento da batimetria foi realizado no software HYPACK® 2013, sendo concluído através da correção da maré e dos perfis de velocidade do som, seguidas da edição de cada linha para retirada de picos discrepantes. Assim, pode-se gerar mapas batimétricos de detalhe para toda a área. De posse desses mapas e mosaicos, pode-se, então, realizar uma caracterização da área, na qual foram identificadas feições como marcas onduladas nas Praias da Daniela e Jurerê, e tipos de sedimentos, como consolidados na Ponta das Canas e Canasvieiras, e sedimentos mais finos em todas as praias

No full textBakalářská práce, která je rozdělena do tří částí, se zabývá obchodní strategií společnosti EvoBus Česká republika s.r.o. Cílem práce je analýza obchodní strategie a její následné vyhodnocení. V první části práce je charakterizován autobusový trh v České republice a v Evropě. Druhá kapitola se věnuje hlavním teoretickým poznatkům a definicím k porozumění obchodní a marketingové strategie. Poslední třetí část je část praktická, která představuje společnost EvoBus. Tato kapitola se pomocí PEST analýzy věnuje analýze makroprostředí a dále především analýze obchodní strategie, která je provedena pomocí SWOT analýzy. Tato kapitola taky předkládá jisté strategické návrhy na zlepšení zjištěné obchodní strategie. Na závěr této poslední kapitoly je pomocí marketingového mixu představena marketingová strategie firmy Evobus.Topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of business strategy of the company EvoBus Česká republika s.r.o. and is divided into 3 chapters. The aim of this work is to analyze business strategy and its subsequent evaluation. The first chapter covers the bus market in Czech Republic and Europe. The second chapter is based on main theoretical knowledge defining business and marketing strategy. The third part is a practical part that contains basic information about the company. This chapter also deals with the analysis of macro-environment and further analysis of the business strategy with application of SWOT analysis. This chapter also presents some strategic proposals and improvements of the business strategy and the outcomes could be used for the development in next plans. At the end of this last chapter monitor marketing strategy and company communication

Morphometric differences between sexes of two subspecies of black-crowned night heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) using discriminant analysis
No full textThe objective of this study was to develop tools for distinguishing between sexes of the two Blackcrowned Night-Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax) subspecies (N. n. obscurus and N. n. hoactli) using discriminant function analysis. Significant differences were found in length of the culmen, length of the bill from the gape, and length of the wing chord between the sexes of each subspecies, with males being larger than females. The resulting discriminant functions were able to differentiate between the sexes of each studied subspecies and between subspecies after determining the sex of the individuals (with a correct classification of 77.8% for females and 97.8% for males). In females, all morphometrics were greater for N. n. obscurus than N. n. hoactli; this was also the case for males, except for bill width, which was greater in N. n. hoactli. Wing chord length was the most useful measurement for constructing the discriminant functions. External morphometrics are a valuable tool not only for discriminating between N. n. hoactli and N. n. obscurus but also for sexing these subspecies.Fil: Piro, Alejandra. Diferencias morfométricas entre sexos en la cara blanca Ibis (Plegadis chihi)
No full textSexual dimorphism in birds may express itself as differences in body size, plumage, color and/or behavior. Many species are monomorphic in color, which makes sex determination difficult in the field. In order to develop a tool to distinguish between male and female specimens of the White-faced Ibis, Plegadis chihi, by using external body measurements, the objective of this work was to quantify morphometric differences between sexes in adults of this species. The following variables were measured: culmen length, bill height and width, tarsus length, middle toe (with claw) length, wing chord, tail length and body mass. Males were larger than females in all of these variables, and presented statistically significant differences for six out of eight parameters. Three discriminant classification functions were obtained with an accurate total classification rate in >85% of the cases. The length of the culmen, tarsus, middle toe with claw, and wing chord, were among the most useful variables to discriminate between sexes. The classification functions are useful for the discrimination of sexes in the White-faced Ibis, with easy-to-take measurements. This information may be used by avian ecologists in future behavioral ecology, conservation biology, or evolutionary biology studies. The use of external morphometrics to sex monomorphic birds is of great value, being an inexpensive, less invasive and more immediate method.Fil: Fuchs, Daniela Viviana. Provincia de Entre Ríos. Ageing and Hardcore-Punk Identity: Analysis of the Fanzine Hluboká Orba and the Changing Themes of Its Author Filip Fuchs
No full textTato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu proměny punkové identity Filipa Fuchse ve vztahu ke stárnutí, životním změnám a širším společenským a subkulturním souvislostem, jak jsou prezentovány v jeho textech publikovaných ve fanzinu Hluboká Orba (1993-2014). Hlavním teoretickým rámcem je koncept stárnoucího punku, který spojuje dvě klíčové roviny: vývoj punkové identity v čase a strukturální konflikt mezi hodnotami subkultury a normami většinové společnosti. Tento rámec je postaven na práci Stephena Duncomba (2008) a publikaci Punk, Ageing and Time (Way & Grimes, 2024). Bakalářská práce ukazuje, že i přes změny, které přináší stárnutí - jako jsou pracovní povinnosti, rodičovství nebo zdravotní problémy - Fuchsova punková identita zůstává autentická a konzistentní, opírající se o hodnoty jako DIY etika, kolektivismus a odpor vůči autoritám a komercializaci. Analýza Fuchsových textů odhaluje napětí mezi ideály alternativní kultury a realitou dospělého života, což není prezentováno jako selhání, ale jako prostor pro kritickou reflexi a reinterpretaci punkové identity. Zároveň je tento proces stárnutí chápán jako pokračující a dynamický, ve kterém Fuchs redefinuje punkovou identitu ve středním věku, aniž by rezignoval na své základní hodnoty. Výsledky práce ukazují, že stárnutí v punku nepředstavuje konec...This thesis focuses on analyzing the transformation of Filip Fuchs's punk identity in relation to ageing, life changes, and broader social and subcultural contexts, as expressed in his texts published in the Czech punk fanzine Hluboká Orba (1993-2014). The main theoretical framework is the concept of "ageing punk," which combines two key dimensions: the temporal evolution of punk identity and the structural conflict between subcultural values and the norms of mainstream society. This framework draws primarily on the work of Stephen Duncombe (2008) and the edited volume Punk, Ageing and Time (Way & Grimes, 2024). The thesis shows that despite the changes brought by ageing-such as work obligations, parenthood, or health- related issues, Fuchs's punk identity remains authentic and consistent, grounded in values such as DIY ethics, collectivism, and resistance to authority and commercialization. The analysis of Fuchs's writing reveals a persistent tension between the ideals of alternative culture and the realities of adult life. This tension is not framed as a failure, but rather as a space for critical reflection and reinterpretation of punk identity. No full textThe author, head of the Czechoslovak delegation, presents basic information about the 26th International Geographical Congress which took place in Sydney, Australia, from 2lst to 2Oth August, 1988. The Congress was formally opened by Sir N. Stephen, Governor General of Australia, at the Concert Hall of Sydney Opera House. Au sessions and exhibitions were held at the University of Sydney, established In 1850. In the congress more than 1200 geographers participated while from among 88 IGU member countries 51 ones were represented by official delegations. About 800 papers were presented in 14 sections, working and study groups sessions. Prof Ronald Fuchs from the USA was elected president by the General Assembly of IGU for the next four years. The 27th International Geographical Congress will take place in Washington, D. C. in 1992.1
