Systems of information and surveillance of occurrences in bioterrorism
No full textThe present article exposes the types of systems of information for the detected of occurrences of syndromes, denominated Syndromic Systems. It identifies the importance of systems of information for the control of diseases, through the automatic detection, seeking the monitoramento of occurrences of diseases (outbreaks) in certain group.
Through the detection of occurrence of syndromes it can identify a high number of occurrences of diseases or outbreaks in a certain area, zip-code, city or State. These systems are being a lot used in the USA for evaluation of outbreaks, that can be resulted of Bioterrorism.
Discusses the need of planning to the implantation of systems of information integrated & quot;Syndromics & quot; and with data aquisition in Real-Time, through the union and creation of protocols of data, centralized by the organs public of surveillance and being constituted of the data of hospitals, clinics, public-health laboratories. So that it can collect and to classify the information of occurrences of diseases in a certain territory.
It is used of the theories of the collection of data through two points, the received data of through standardized releases and the received data (through & quot;Reports & quot;) and other surveillance system based on Knowledge (Knowledge-Based Surveillance Systems), they analyze the content of the registrations (through the sweeping of the text and data).
It presents the systematic of operation of the (RODS - Real-team Outbreak and Disease Surveillance System) and systems for knowledge. Used and tested by U. S. (CDC - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

Using this system which is a Free Software, many institutions can to decide the big question of how to publish and make available its publications on the Internet. All publications that use the system will have their data shared in various repositories and harvesting of records and metadata called harvester, as the PKP-Public Knowledge Project University of British Columbia in Canada and OAISTER University of Michigan. With the objective of centralizing data, or institutional repositories thematic, enabling the publication can also be recovered internationally. It is the result of the deployment of SEER in the Faculdade Maringá. It was after presenting analysis software that the system has SEER resources beyond expectations, by providing, monitoring and evaluation by the author of the whole editorial process, possibility of monitoring the publication by all members involved in the publication, enabling disclosure route e-mail and a large quantity of services of publishing completely automated. No full textThe present article aims at to present the process of implantation of the electronic Journal Maringá Management, through the use of the SEER Electronic System for Journal Publishing, distributed for the IBICT- Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology to the institutions that want to publish reviewed on-line and to all follow and to manage the process of Publishing. Has an academic revision on Open Archives Initiatives in journals and its importance, the process institutional of planning and implantation of the system for its importance, and the importance in capacitation to the members of the publishing commission. The use of the SEER made possible that the Journal just implanted, had an excellent acceptance for the readers, proven through access statisticians. To publish a journal on-line not necessarily is to leave a page in the Internet, requires that the same one uses systems, where the metadata can be shared and also used for the interchange of information. Using this system that is a Free Software, many institutions will be able to decide the great question of as to publish and to this publications in the Internet. The System uses the Harvest protocol, of Open Archives Initiatives - OAI, being used in Brazil for approximately 10 appraised University and others that still are implanting it, in the world has 246 journals approximately on-line using the system. All the publications that use the system will have its data shared in an only index the PKP-Public Knowledge Project of the British Columbia University in Canada. Making possible that the publication can also be recouped internationally. It was concluded that system SEER was considered beyond the expectations, through the dissemination, accompaniment for the author and appraisers of all the publishing process, possibility of accompaniment of the publication for all the involved members in the publication, spreading possibility saw email and great amounts of services of publishing total automatized
