Seasonal monitoring of groundwater in the urban area of the municipality of Apuí-AM
No full textWater consumption is essential for human survival, however, it is essential that it is free from any form of contamination, whether chemical, physical or microbiological in nature. Therefore, it is necessary to treat water in accordance with the standards established by regulatory bodies, in order to eliminate any microorganisms present in it before consumption. Groundwater is sought after as an alternative source due to its generally adequate quality due to the soil's ability to act as a natural filter, contributing to the purification of these waters. The objective of this study was to carry out seasonal monitoring of physical, chemical and microbiological parameters of groundwater from supply wells in the urban area of the municipality of Apuí-AM. For this purpose, water samples were collected in eight deep tubular wells, in different locations, during periods of drought and flooding. In the physical-chemical analyses, the parameters defined for evaluation were pH, total hardness, nitrite, nitrate, manganese, iron, aluminum, color, turbidity, total solids and electrical conductivity. The microbiological analyzes carried out were thermotolerant coliforms, total coliforms and Escherichia coli. Subsequently, the results were compared with the limit values established by GM/MS Consolidation Ordinance No. 888, of May 4, 2021, on water potability. The results showed that the majority of wells presented a pH within the permitted range (6.0 to 9.5) during the two periods analyzed, except PT-1, which presented an acidic pH (5) in both seasons. For turbidity, values above the permitted value (5.0 UT) were obtained in wells PT-1, PT-6, PT-9 and PT-10 during the low tide and in wells PT-1, PT-5, PT-6, PT-9 and PT-10 during the flood. Wells PT-5, PT-6, PT-9 and PT-10 showed high iron levels at both times. Elevated values of total manganese were found in several wells during low water, but were within limits during high water. Microbial contamination was detected in several wells, with water quality improving at the time of the flood, but still persisting in some cases. Therefore, the importance of analyzing the quality of water intended for human supply and the need for corrective actions are highlighted, highlighting their relevance to guarantee public health.O consumo de água é essencial para a sobrevivência humana, no entanto, é imprescindível que esta esteja livre de quaisquer formas de contaminação, sejam elas de natureza química, física ou microbiológica. Portanto, é necessário tratar a água de acordo com as normas estabelecidas por órgãos reguladores, a fim de eliminar quaisquer microrganismos presentes nela antes de seu consumo. As águas subterrâneas são procuradas como fontes alternativas devido à sua qualidade geralmente adequada devido à capacidade do solo de atuar como um filtro natural, contribuindo para a purificação dessas águas. O objetivo deste estudo foi realizar monitoramento sazonal de parâmetros físicos, químicos e microbiológicos da água subterrânea de poços de abastecimento da área urbana do município de Apuí-AM. Para este fim realizou-se a coleta de amostras de água em oito poços tubulares profundos, de diferentes localidades, durante os períodos de estiagem e enchente. Nas análises físico-químicas, os parâmetros definidos para avaliação foram pH, dureza total, nitrito, nitrato, manganês, ferro, alumínio, cor, turbidez, sólidos totais e condutividade elétrica. As análises microbiológicas realizadas foram coliformes termotolerantes, coliformes totais e Escherichia coli. Posteriormente, comparou-se os resultados com os valores limites estabelecidos pela Portaria de consolidação GM/MS n° 888, de 4 de maio de 2021, sobre potabilidade da água. Os resultados mostraram que a maioria dos poços apresentou pH dentro do intervalo permitido (6,0 a 9,5) durante as duas épocas analisadas, exceto PT-1, que apresentou pH ácido (5) em ambas as épocas. Para turbidez obteve-se valores acima do permitido (5,0 UT) nos poços PT-1, PT-6, PT-9 e PT-10 durante a vazante e nos poços PT-1, PT-5, PT-6, PT-9 e PT-10 durante a enchente. Os poços PT-5, PT-6, PT-9 e PT-10 apresentaram níveis elevados de ferro em ambas as épocas. Valores elevados de manganês total foram encontrados em diversos poços durante a vazante, mas estavam dentro dos limites na enchente. A contaminação microbiana foi detectada em vários poços, com melhoria na qualidade da água na época da enchente, mas ainda persistindo em alguns casos. Dessa forma, destaca-se a importância de analisar a qualidade da água destinada ao abastecimento humano e a necessidade de ações corretivas destacando sua relevância para garantir a saúde pública.2Nã
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
