No full textA população com deficiência físico-motora no estado do Ceará vem crescendo ao longo dos anos e essa realidade se estende de maneira significativa ao público infantil. Para as crianças portadoras de deficiência, a rede SUS oferece vagas limitadas ao atendimento especializado, com fatores de complicação relativo à concentração de unidades hospitalares nas regiões metropolitanas, o que ocasiona grandes locomoções pela busca de assistência médica. Considerando essa problemática, foi identificado a necessidade de oferecer uma proposta de projeto voltada ao atendimento especializado de crianças com deficiência, no estado do Ceará, com o objetivo de auxiliar na recuperação, adaptação ao meio social e na melhoria da qualidade de vida desse público. A cidade de Jaguaribe foi escolhida como local de implementação por ser polo de sua regional e ter acesso facilitado as cidades do entorno. Para realização desse trabalho, foram realizados estudos de referencial teórico, que tem como intuito compreender as necessidades relativas ao público alvo e as normatizações estabelecidas pela complexidade do edifício hospitalar. Para melhor entendimento, foram realizados estudos de referências projetuais que fundamentaram de modo significativo as diretrizes para a concepção projetual, auxiliando na definição dos conceitos, do programa de necessidades e das soluções projetuais. Os conceitos estabelecidos pela pesquisa nortearam as diretrizes de projeto, seguindo propostas voltadas a acessibilidade, conforto ambiental e humanização para o ambiente hospitalar. Seguindo-se a isso, foram realizados estudos voltados ao diagnóstico da área de intervenção afim de melhor compreender as questões do entorno e as condicionantes ambientais do local. Por fim, foi desenvolvido o anteprojeto de um Hospital de Reabilitação Pediátrico, que tem como premissa a arquitetura como ambiente de cura, que prioriza o conforto ambiental, as soluções funcionais e os espaços humanizados para melhor recuperação e estadia de seus usuários.The population with physical and motor disabilities in the state of Ceará has been growing over the years and this reality significantly extends to children. For children with disabilities, the SUS network offers limited places for specialized care, with complicating factors related to the concentration of hospital units in metropolitan regions, which increases the distance to seek for medical assistance. Considering this problem, the need was identified to offer a project proposal aimed at specialized care for children with disabilities, in the state of Ceará, with the objective of assisting in the recovery, adaptation to the social environment and in improving the quality of life of this public. The city of Jaguaribe was chosen as the implementation site because it is a hub for its regional and has easy access to the surrounding cities. To do this work, theoretical studies were carried out, which aim to understand the needs of the target audience and the norms established by the complexity of the hospital building. For a better understanding, design reference studies were carried out with the aim of significantly substantiating the guidelines for design conception, helping to define the concepts, the needs program and the design solutions. The concepts established by the research guided the project guidelines, following proposals aimed at accessibility, environmental comfort and humanization for the hospital environment. Following this, studies were done in order to diagnose the intervention area in order to better understand the issues and the local environmental conditions. Finally, a preliminary project for a Pediatric Rehabilitation Hospital was developed, which has as a premise architecture as a healing environment, that prioritizes environmental comfort, functional solutions and humanized spaces for better recovery and stay for its users
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
