No full text[IT] L’articolo affronta il tema dell’accesso aperto nelle università muovendo dal modo in cui gli umanisti e gli scienziati sociali hanno guardato e guardano alla rete delle reti. Affronta quindi un tema che si colloca al crocevia tra l’evoluzione delle tecnologie informatiche e telematiche, le trasformazioni delle pratiche disciplinari e delle metodologie di ricerca, i mutamenti del mercato della comunicazione scientifica e delle modalità di finanziamento della ricerca, i cambiamenti nei criteri di valutazione della qualità delle pubblicazioni.
[EN] This article focuses on open access in universities, starting from the way humanists and social scientists have looked and look at the Internet. Therefore, it addresses an issue that lies at the crossroads between the evolution of information and communication technologies, the transformations of knowledge practices and research methodologies, the changes in the market of scientific communication and in the methods of funding research, and the modifications in the criteria for publications assessment

The paper focuses on some aspects of Frederick II of Hohenstaufen's myth, dealing with the German popular saga of the survival and the return of the emperor. This myth was constantly recovered in the most critical periods of German history.
