    Perancangan Dan Realisasi Sistem Transmisi Data GPS Menggunakan Teknologi SMS (Short Messaging Service) Sebagai Aplikasi Sistem Personal Tracking

    ABSTRAKBerprinsip pada pengembangan teknologi dan aplikasi dari sistem penjejakan posisi (tracking), maka dibuatlah sistem personal tracking dengan mentransmisikan data GPS (Global Positioning System) dengan menggunakan teknologi SMS (Short Messaging Service) pada jaringan GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) sebagai media transmisinya.  Dengan sistem GPS akan diperoleh data garis lintang, serta garis bujur dari GPS receiver.  Data tersebut akan diteruskan oleh mikrokontroler untuk dikirim ke ponsel pengamat melalui komunikasi SMS.  Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa device personal tracking berhasil mengirimkan data berupa IMEI, Tanggal satelit, waktu satelit, koordinat longitude, koordinat latitude, dan jumlah satelit yang berhasil ditangkap oleh device ke ponsel pengamat.  Dari data koordinat tersebut pengamat dapat memantau posisi device personal tracking berada dengan bantuan aplikasi pendukung yaitu Google Maps. Kata kunci: GPS, Personal Tracking, SMS, Google Maps.   ABSTRACTBase on technology and application development of tracking, personal tracking system was made by transmiting GPS (Global Positioning System) data using SMS (Short Messaging Service) technology with GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) network as transmitter media.  BY GPS system, we can get datas such as latitude and longitude of GPS receiver.  Those datas will be processed by microcontroller to be sent from GSM/GPRS module to user cellular phone through SMS communication.  The test result showed that the device can be sending datas such as IMEI, UTC date, UTC time, longitude coordinate, latitude coordinate, and number sattelite which detected by device to user’s phonecell.  From those coordinate, user can be monitoring the device’s position with the Google Maps application.     Alat Monitoring Infus Set pada Pasien Rawat Inap Berbasis Mikrokontroler ATmega 8535

    ABSTRAK Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui volume cairan Infus adalah dengan cara mendeteksi tetesan yang berada pada chamber Infus. Tetesan dideteksi oleh sensor cahaya yaitu LED infra merah dan photodioda. Sinyal tegangan dari sensor dikondisikan dengan IC komparator LM339 . Mikrokontroler ATmega 8535 digunakan sebagai pengolah data  I/O dari komparator sehingga informasi dari parameter  yang dimonitor dapat ditampilkan pada LED dan LCD serta bunyi buzzer. Tegangan keluaran sensor infra merah saat mendeteksi tetesan adalah sebesar 1,02 V sedangkan saat tidak mendeteksi tetesan tegangan keluaran sebesar 180 mV. Parameter yang dapat dideteksi dari alat ini diantaranya jumlah tetesan per menit dengan maksimal jumlah tetes / menit yang dideteksi sebesar 255 tetes, peringatan bila tetesan tidak terdeteksi selama 10 detik dan peringatan bila cairan Infus akan habis (± 50 ml). Suara yang dihasilkan buzzer masih terdengar jelas dan tidak berbahaya bagi pendengaran perawat berdasarkan nilai ambang batas tingkat kebisingan meskipun keadaan di ruangan perawat dalam kondisi ramai. Kata kunci: Infus set, intravena, photodioda, infra merah, mikrokontroler ATmega 8535, Infus.   ABSTRACT The method used to know the volume of Infusion fluid is detecting droplets that are on Infusion chamber. The droplets are detected by the light sensors is infrared LED and  photodiode. The voltage signal from the sensor is conditioned by the digital comparator IC LM339. ATmega microcontroller 8535 is used as a data processor of the comparator output so that information from the monitored parameters can be displayed on the LCD and LED and buzzer flame. The output voltage when infrared sensors detect a drop is 1.02 V, while sensor does not detect a drop the output voltage drops is 180 mV. Parameters that can be detected from these tool include the number of drops per minute with a maximum number of drops / min was detected at 255 drops, a warning when the droplets are not detected for 10 seconds and a warning when Infuse fluids will run out (± 50 ml). Buzzer’s sound still clearly audible and not dangerous for nurse’s hearing based on noise level threshold value though the situation in the nurse’s room in crowded conditions.     Pendeteksi Sikap pada Model Wahana Terbang menggunakan Inertial Measurement Unit

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang aplikasi dari sensor gyroscope dan accelerometer yang merupakan komponen penyusun alat ukur inersial (inertial measurement unit) untuk mendeteksi sikap (attitude) pada wahana terbang tanpa awak. Sikap (attitude) memberikan 3 (tiga) informasi yaitu roll, pitch dan yaw. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah alat pendeteksi sikap (attitude) sudah layak atau tidak digunakan pada wahana terbang yang akan di-modelkan yaitu dengan cara merancang sistem pengukuran/pendeteksi serta monitoring sikap (attitude) menggunakan software LabVIEW. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi kemiringan attitude merupakan pengabungan hasil pengukuran dari gyroscope dan accelerometer. Pengujian alat pendeteksi sikap dilakukan dengan cara mensimulasikan kinematika pergerakan wahana terbang. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, alat pendeteksi sikap sudah layak digunakan pada wahana terbang Hal ini sesuai dengan simpangan rata – rata yang diperoleh dari hasil pengukuran rotasi pada sumbu x (roll) sebesar 0,58 o, rotasi pada sumbu y (pitch) sebesar 0,53 o dan rotasi pada sumbu z (yaw) sebesar 7,64 o. Attitude give 3 (three) basic informations, that information are roll, pitch and yaw. The purpose of this journal is to analys if the attitude sensing device are suitble to be used on a model aircraft. This journal are designing measurement system and monitoring using software from LabVIEW. The method used to detect roll, pitch and yaw is combination from the measurement of gyroscope and accelerometer. The testing of the attitude sensing device by simulating the kinematics of an aircraft. The results shows that the attude sensing device are qualified for sensing tilt angle for x-axis (roll) with standard deviation 0,58 o, sensing tilt angle for y-axis (pitch) with standard deviation 0.53 o and sensing tilit angle for z (axis) with standar deviation 7,64 o.     ABSTRAKHypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) merupakan protokol jaringan pada lapisan aplikasi TCP/IP yang menjadi dasar komunikasi pada World Wide Web (WWW). Penelitian ini merancang dan merealisasikan web-based data logging system yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan aturan HTTP, sehingga perangkat elektronik dapat berkomunikasi dengan website secara langsung. Sistem dirancang dengan dua sub sistem utama yaitu website data logger dan website. Data logger direalisasikan menggunakan ATMega16 yang diintegrasikan dengan sumber data analog dan digital, RTC serta modem GSM. Data logger berfungsi sebagai pengirim data, sedangkan website berfungsi sebagai pengatur, penerima, pengolah dan penyaji data. Sistem ini telah berhasil melakukan komunikasi antara data logger dengan website melalui HTTP, artinya protokol ini dapat diimplementasikan pada data logger yang menggunakan ATmega16. Perubahan data analog dan status logika 0 dan 1 dari data digital yang terjadi pada data logger dapat dilihat pada tampilan di website. ABSTRACTHypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is an application layer network protocols in TCP/IP is the basis of communication on the World Wide Web (WWW). This research was to design and realize a web-based data logging system that aims to introduce the rules of HTTP, so that electronic devices could communicate with the website directly. The system was designed with two main sub-system, namely data logger and website. The data logger was realized using ATmega16 are integrated with analog and digital data sources, RTC and a GSM modem. Data logger function as the sender of data, while the website functions as regulator, receiver, processing and presenter data. This system had been successfully perform communication between the data logger to a website via HTTP, meaning that this protocol could be implemented on a data logger that uses ATmega16. Website could receive and process the data transmitted by the data logger and organize system entities. Changes in analog data and status logic 0 and 1 of digital data could be seen on display at the website.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Penerapan Teknik MPPT pada Modul Surya menggunakan Konverter DC-DC Topologi Synchronous Buck

    ABSTRAKKondisi sel surya sangat dipengaruhi oleh suhu dan intensitas matahari yang berperilaku dinamis, sehingga sel surya sulit mencapai titik tegangan dan arus maksimumnya. Sedangkan berdasarkan kurva karakteristik Daya-Tegangan sel surya, terdapat satu titik daya keluaran maksimum pada saat tertentu. Titik daya maksimum tersebut dapat dilacak menggunakan teknik Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). Penerapan teknik MPPT pada modul surya menggunakan konverter DC-DC topologi synchronous buck yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode perturb and observe. Pengaturan duty cycle PWM oleh Arduino Uno pada konverter DC-DC, akan menggeser titik daya modul surya agar selalu berada pada kondisi maksimum. Efisiensi konverter synchronous buck yang dihasilkan paling rendah adalah 43,73% pada duty cycle 10% dan tertinggi 95,6% pada duty cycle 100%. Hasil pengujian tanpa MPPT didapatkan daya keluaran modul surya tertinggi sebesar 16.49 Watt, dan pada saat yang sama ketika pengujian dilakukan dengan menerapkan teknik MPPT, maka daya keluaran modul surya yang terlacak adalah sebesar 23.60 Watt. ABSTRACT The condition of solar cells is very influenced by the temperature and the sun intensity which behaves dynamically, so that solar cells are difficult to reach the maximum point of  voltage and current. Whereas based on the Power-Voltage characteristics curve of  solar cells, there is a maximum output power point at any given moment. The maximum power point can be tracked using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique. Application of MPPT technique on solar module using DC-DC converter synchronous buck topology which is done in this research using perturb and observe method. PWM duty cycle setting by Arduino Uno in DC-DC converter, will shift the solar module power point to always be in maximum condition. The lowest synchronous buck converter efficiency is 43.73% in the 10% duty cycle and the highest is 95.6% in the 100% duty cycle. The test results without MPPT obtained the highest solar module output power of 16.49 Watt, and at the same time when the test is done by applying the MPPT technique, the tracked solar module output power is 23.60 Watt.     ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi telah menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup signifikan, terutama untuk bidang komunikasi. Hal ini terbukti dengan banyaknya media komunikasi baik itu nirkabel dan kabel. Pada penelitian ini dimanfaatkan cahaya tampak sebagai media dalam sistem komunikasi, dimana selama ini cahaya hanya digunakan sebagai penerangan saja. Visible Light Communication (VLC) adalah sebuah teknologi komunikasi yang memanfaatkan pancaran cahaya tampak dari lampu pada sistem komunikasi. Sistem komunikasi visible light ini terdiri dari pemancar dan penerima. Pemancar terdiri dari Light Emitting Dioda, audio transformator dan baterai, dan pada penerima terdiri dari solar cell dan photodioda, amplifier dan catu daya. Hal-hal yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil output sistem komunikasi adalah jarak, terang cahaya lampu pemancar dan cahaya luar. Pada penelitian ini, komunikasi menggunakan VLC dapat dilakukan pada jarak pengiriman data sebesar 2,5 m dan dengan range frekuensi 600 Hz sampai dengan 45 kHz dimana data dapat disalurkan dengan baik. ABSTRACT Technological developments have shown a significant increase, especially in the field of communication. This is proved by the many communications media using both wireless and wired. This study utilized the visible light as a medium of communication system, which has been used as an illumination light only. Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a communication technology which utilize visible light emitted from the lamp in the communication system. The visible light communication system consists of a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter consists of a Light Emitting Diode, audio transformer and battery, and the receiver consists of a solar cell and a photodiode, amplifier and power supply. Things that can affect the output of the communication system is the distance, bright light and outdoor light. In the research, the results that obtained from this study is the data transmission distance of 2.5 m and a frequency range of 600 Hz to 45 kHz data can be routed properly. Higher education institutions are expected to contribute to government development targets, one of which is by producing human resources, which is reliable, especially in the field of renewable energy and hydropower generation. So, we need innovative learning methods or media in the teaching and learning process. In this case, a set of demonstration tools in the form of a micro-hydro system model with varying parameters so that students can easily understand a course and could connect the theory with the real world/industry.</p

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
