Vico en el contexto de la cultura rioplatense decimonónica se debió directamente a De Angelis o Michelet, aparentemente influido a su vez por De Angelis. Si la primera idea es plausible, dada la estancia del mismo italiano en la Argentina, entonces la conclusión parece clara: el verdadero papel de De Angelis en la difusión decimonónica de Vico no es un hecho, sino algo desconocido. Sin embargo, el hecho de que algo no se encuentre mostrado por la evidencia documental no impide su existencia ficcional.The author tries to determinate if the reception of G. Vico in the context of the River Plate Culture of the nineteenth century was due directly to De Angelis, or to Michelet, apparently influenced in turn by De Angelis. If the first idea is plausible, through the stay of the Italian himself in the Argentine, then the conclusion seems clear: the true rôle of De Angelis in the spread of Vico in the nineteenth century is an unknown, and not a fact. However, the fact that something is not shown by documentary evidence does not prevent it being fictionally suppoused

The Objectivity of interpretation in G. Gentile about his reading of Vico
No full textUna de las principales críticas que recibieron las interpretaciones idealistas de Vico fue la falta de objetividad histórica. Según esos críticos, al haber reconstruido la filosofía de Vico a partir de y según su propia filosofía, estas interpretaciones tendrían el gran defecto de ser incapaces de investigar cómo fue y pensó realmente Vico. Este trabajo se propone reconstruir, en respuesta a dichas críticas, la concepción idealista sobre la objetividad de la interpretación, con el fin de plantear un renovado acercamiento a dichas interpretaciones. Aunque el trabajo toma como autor central a Gentile, también considera aspectos de la filosofía de Croce.One of the main criticisms of Vico’s idealistic interpretations was the lack of historical objectivity. Those critics think that, having reconstructed Vico's philosophy from and according to their own philosophy, these interpretations would have the great defect of being incapable of investigating how Vico really was and thought. This paper suggests a reconstruction, in response to these criticisms, of the idealist conception about the objectivity of interpretation, in order to propose a renewed approach to these interpretations. Although the work takes Gentile as its central author, it also considers aspects of Croce’s philosophy

acciones humanas, las cuales permiten comprender la vida individual y social. Para lograr esta labor primero se analiza la forma en que ha evolucionado la sociedad, con base en las ideas de Vico plasmadas en su Scienza nuova; posteriormente se examina el papel de las acciones humanas en la comprensión del pensamiento psicológico actual. Se presenta además un bosquejo del entorno intelectual y científico que se vivía en la época de Vico; se analiza también el impacto de su pensamiento en la eterna disputa que se ha mantenido en la ciencia psicológica sobre la dirección que debe seguir ésta, personificada en la encrucijada ¿explicar o comprender?This article deals with the thinking of G. Vico, mainly with regard to the formation of a psychological
science that endows it with its own corpus full of meanings, whose main interest are the social representations to allow understanding individual and social life. In order to achieve this task, we first analyze the way in which society has evolved, based on Vico’s ideas expressed in his work, the Scienza nuova. Subsequently, the role of social representations in the understanding of the properly human is examined. It also presents a sketch of the intellectual and scientific environment that was lived in the time of Vico; The impact of Vico’s thought is also analyzed in the eternal dispute that has persisted in the social sciences and the humanities about the direction they should follow, personified at the crossroads to: explain or understand
