    The people with visual impairment have problems in mobility and orientation, especially in the outdoor environment. Recently, traffic lights systems, which is a facility where someone crosses do not support visually implaired people so they still need help from others in crossing the road. In this study, a system that integrates traffic lights is implemented using Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology, where the VLC transmitter is mounted on a traffic light, and the VLC receiver is installed as a wearable device that can be used with the audio information signal. The measurement  is done by considering the use of color filters. The measurement results show that the transmitter system has been able to send signals with audio frequencies from 300 Hz to 4000 Hz. Besides that, receiving an information signal consisting of a audio signal from a transmitter mounted on a traffic light with a red, yellow and green color filter can be received by a VLC receiver that is placed on a visually impaired person of good quality with the signal voltage received above 4 Vpp, where the use of a yellow filter shows the best signal reception results with a voltage output of 5.00 Vpp at a frequency of 2400 Hz compared to other color filters.ABSTRAK: Penyandang tuna netra memiliki masalah dalam hal mobilitas dan orientasi, khususnya di lingkungan luar (outdoor). Pada sistem yang terdapat pada lampu lalu lintas (traffic light) yang merupakan fasilitas dimana seseorang menyebrang saat ini belum mendukung penyandang tuna netra, sehingga sampai saat ini masih membutuhkan bantuan orang lain dalam menyebrang jalan. Pada penelitian ini, sebuah sistem yang diintegrasikan pada lampu lalu lintas diimplementasikan menggunakan teknologi Visible Light Communication (VLC), dimana VLC transmitter dipasang pada lampu lalu lintas dan VLC receiver dipasang sebagai wearable device dengan sinyal informasi suara digunakan oleh penyandang tunanetra sehingga dapat menerima informasi mengenai kondisi lampu lalu lintas pada saat itu. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan penggunaan filter berwarna. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan bahwa sistem transmitter telah dapat mengirimkan sinyal dengan frekuensi suara dari 300 Hz sampai 4000 Hz. Disamping itu, penerimaan sinyal informasi berupa sinyal suara dari transmitter yang terpasang pada lampu lalu lintas dengan filter warna Merah, Kuning dan Hijau  telah dapat diterima oleh receiver yang ditempatkan pada penyandang tuna netra dengan kualitas baik dengan tegangan sinyal yang diterima diatas 4 Vpp, dimana penggunaan filter warna kuning menunjukan hasil penerimaan sinyal yang paling baik dengan tegangan output 5,00 Vpp pada frekuensi 2400 Hz dibandingkan dibandingkan penggunaan filter warna lainny

    Sistem komunikasi cahaya (Visible Light Commuication) merupakan sistem komunikasi yang memanfaatkan cahaya tampak untuk mengirimkan sinyal informasi dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain. Sistem ini dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai aplikasi, khususnya di dalam ruangan (indoor). Pada penelitian ini, diimplementasikan sebuah meja pintar yang diposisikan di dalam ruangan yang digunakan untuk mengirimkan sinyal audio yang berasal dari dalam meja menuju sistem penerima yang terletak di atas meja dengan memanfaatkan cahaya tampak yang dipancarcarkan. Sistem ini terdiri atas dua bagian, yaitu VLC Transmitter yang ditanam di dalam meja dan VLC Receiver yang diletakan di atas meja.  Pada pengujian, bahan yang digunakan terdiri dari kaca bening, kaca gelap, akrilik bening, akrilik merah, akrilik hijau, dan akrilik biru sebagai pemisah antara VLC Transmitter dan Receiver.  Pada Pengujian sistem, Sinyal informasi audio dengan menggunakan kaca dapat disampaikan memiliki kinerja paling baik dengan tegangan penerimaan maksimum 5 V dibandingkan akrilik. Dalam aplikasinya, kaca gelap lebih baik digunakan dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat kenyamanan pengguna terhadap tingkat penerimaan mata terhadap cahaya

    Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Remote Tilting Antenna untuk Aplikasi Base Station

    ABSTRAK Pada kondisi pembangunan suatu jaringan seluler baru, permasalahan coverage area terkadang perlu penanganan khusus. Jika coverage area dari suatu base station terlalu besar maka dapat mengakibatkan saling tumpang tindih (overlap) dengan sel yang berdekatan. Hal ini akan meningkatkan interferensi daya antar sel, yang kemudian berakibat pada penurunan kualitas layanan. Salah satu bentuk solusi untuk dapat memenuhi persyaratan coverage area, kinerja jaringan seluler, dan juga memenuhi tingkat keselamatan engineer adalah dengan menggunakan metoda down tilting antenna melalui wireless. Penetapan metoda down tilting antenna dilakukan dengan membuat suatu peralatan yang dapat menggerakkan posisi antenna pada base station. Perangkat yang diimplementasikan terdiri atas Transmitter, Receiver, Motor DC, Driver Motor, Logam Pengait, dan Antena. Sinyal yang berfungsi sebagai pengendali masuk ke Transmitter dan selanjutnya diolah oleh Receiver. Sinyal keluaran dari Receiver digunakan untuk mengendalikan motor DC melalui driver motor yang mengendalikan pergerakan dari Antenna Base Station. Pada penelitian ini, sistem telah dapat diuji memalui pergerakan antenna sampai dengan jarak 10 m. Tingkat kemiringan antena dibandingkan dengan pergeseran logam berkait menunjukan hasil yang linear. Setiap pergeseran 0,5 cm akan menyebabkan perubahan kemiringan antenna sebesar 1 derajat. If the coverage area of a Base Station is too big then it may lead to overlap ( overlap ) with adjacent cells. This will improve inter- cell interference power, which then resulted in a decrease in the quality of service. One form of solutions to meet the requirements of the coverage area, the performance of cellular networks, and also meet the level of safety engineers is to use the method of tilting down through a wireless antenna. Determination method of antenna down tilting is done by creating a device that can move the position of the antenna on Base Station. The device is implemented consisting of Transmitter, Receiver, Motor DC Motor Driver, Metal Hook , and Base Station Antennas. Which serves as a signal controlling entry into Transmitter and subsequently processed by the Receiver. The output signal of the receiver is used to control a DC motor through a motor driver that controls the movement of Base Station Antenna. In this study, the system has to be tested memalui antenna movement up to a distance of 10 m. Levels compared to the friction slope antenna hooked metal has showed linear results.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Shallot disease classification system based on deep learning

    Shallot is one of the important horticultural commodities for society and has high economic value. The problem with shallot cultivation is disease attacks on plants, one of which is Fusarium wilt. With the condition that the shallot commodity at the farmer level has a high failure rate, it is hoped that this research can assist farmers in providing information about shallot plants that have diseased plant characteristics using deep learning system convolutional neural network (CNN) method by utilizing leaf images on shallot plants. This research was conducted using the ResNet-18 architecture, with a total of 400 data in the dataset divided into 2 categories, namely healthy and diseased Fusarium wilt. The device used to carry out the classification process in this research is a Jetson Nano 2 GB. The ratio used to form a model from the dataset is 80-20 (80% training data and 20% validation data). The accuracy results for the classification of shallot plant diseases using real-time leaf images during the day have an average accuracy value of 68% on healthy plants and 62% on Fusarium wilt plants, while at night it has an average accuracy value of 53% on healthy plants and 47% on Fusarium wilt plants

    Classification system of banana types and ripeness levels based on convolutional neural network

    Recently, the availability of bananas in supermarkets has been relatively abundant. However, most buyers experience problems categorizing the type and level of ripeness of bananas, so the level of purchases of this fruit decreases. This study implements a system that can automatically classify bananas based on type and level of ripeness so that buyers can choose them based on their needs. In this study, the proposed system could classify the types and degrees of banana ripeness using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) where the system was implemented in real-time using the hardware of the Jetson Nano as a processing unit and a camera system as a sensor. The methodology adopted in this research involves implementing CNN architectures, i.e., ResNet-18 and ResNet-50, under various conditions. The training phase comprises 60 epochs, while testing considers illumination parameters from LED lights with power of 6 watts, 12 watts, and 22 watts under distances ranging from 10 to 100 cm. The results show that the system could classify the type and level of ripeness of bananas in real-time with an accuracy of 93% that is achieved using the 22-watt power for all type and ripeness levels.

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Bidirectional Underwater Visible Light Communication

    In this paper, a novel bidirectional underwater visible light communication (BiUVLC) is proposed. The VLC transmitter transmits an information signal using the one of RGB LED through the water tank that represents an underwater environment and then is received by VLC receiver via a color filter. The color LEDs and color filters are utilized in bidirectional systems. The single link is created by a LED on the transmitter and the color filter on the receiver with the same color which represents a single wavelength. The performance of the proposed BiUVLC system was evaluated via implementations. The experimental result shows that the transmitted signal undergoes attenuation over the underwater optical channel and the pair of the blue wavelength in link 1 and the green wavelength in link 2 have the best performance than the other wavelength pair. In the crosstalk measurement, the red wavelength color is the worst in the underwater environment
