Antidumping problem is a problem which draws more attention of international society and becomes a hot topic around the world. Since reform and opening up, China's foreign trade, rapid growth, due to domestic protectionist pressures abroad, the Government has to take measures to alleviate the domestic dissatisfaction. Anti-dumping has become the best of contemporary international trade means the trade barriers. "Anti-Dumping Agreement" purporting to some countries in order to prevent abuse of the principles of free trade while the damage caused to his country. However, some countries are using anti-dumping as a trade protection tools, products to stop him entering the country and impede free trade. China is the highest number of anti-dumping by the country, their interests are seriously harmed. The face of such enormous impact. The reasons are manifold, both international as well as domesticanalysizes the evolution of antidumping law system from the angle of domestic law and international law. Second, the author gives an empirical analysis on China’ s antidumping problem from the aspects of outline, characteristics, tendency and cases. Third, the author analysizes the reasons why other countries always take antidumping measures to Chinese export goods and the reasons why China takes antidumping measures to import goods from the angle of internal cause and external cause, fair trade. Finally, the author puts forward the suggestion of dealing with other countries’ antidumping actions towards Chinese goods from the aspects of winning fair treatment, raising the competitive ability of Chinese enterprises, antidumping operation mechanism, enterprises’ initiative, utilizing WTO rules etc. The article is made up of four chapters. In chapter 1 presents research backgrounds, the aim, contributions and structures of the thesis. In chapter 2, the author defines deeply and completely the concept of antidumping from its meaning, procedures, measures. In chapter 3, the author analyzes the reasons why China has become the main antidumping object of foreign countries and the reasons why China takes antidumping measures to import goods. In chapter 4, the author puts forward some significant countermeasures on how to settle the problem of antidumping.both the impact of economic factors, but also has legal factors. In order to minimize the foreign anti-dumping on China's foreign trade as well as the adverse impact of economic development, we need a new look with new strategies to deal with. On the basis of theories of international economics and international law, with the means of empirical analysis, quantitative analysis, the author has studied the problem of antidumping deeply. First, the author defines deeply and completely the concept of antidumping from its meaning, procedures, measuresboth objective as well as subjective제1장 서 론 제1절 연구의 배경 및 목적 제2절 연구의 구성 및 방법 제2장 반덤핑제도의 의의와 경제적 효과 제1절 덤핑의 의의와 경제적 효과 1.

Accuracy Evaluation of Multiple Runoff Products: A Case Study of the Middle Reaches of the Yellow River

    No full text
Recent advances in hydrological modling have led to the generation of numerous global or regional runoff datasets, which have been widely used in hydrological analysis. However, it is not yet clear how their accuracy and reliabilities are. In this study, using observed gauge streamflow data at four stations (Hequ, Fugu, Wubu, and Longmen) in the middle reaches of the Yellow River as reference, we compare and evaluate the accuracy of three runoff gridded dataset products (GloFAS, GRFR v1.0, and WGHM) at four temporal scales: daily, monthly, annual, and wet/dry seasons. The results indicate the following: (1) As the temporal scale increases, the simulated streamflow accuracy of the three datasets gradually improves. The GloFAS dataset performs the best at daily scale, while the WGHM dataset outperforms the other two at monthly and annual scales. (2) The three datasets all tend to overestimate the total streamflow at the main stations. (3) Comparing the two hydrological scenarios of wet and dry seasons, all three datasets exhibit better performance during the wet season. (4) The capture of peak streamflow is influenced by dataset type, temporal scale, and station characteristics. In general, the three datasets perform better at stations with higher base streamflow, such as Longmen and Wubu stations. Additionally, this study discusses the possible reasons for their different performances, which can be mainly attributed to three aspects: the quality of meteorological input datasets, missing or simplified simulation processes, and incorrect model structure and parameterization. Future research will consider revising the datasets to obtain more accurate data sources and further enhance the accuracy of watershed streamflow simulations

With the completion of the report KKP / PP, then the author can draw the conclusionthat the use of data processing applications and financial statements, then the processcan be done more quickly and accurately than the manual method, either in search ofdata and calculations. The research found that the flow of information in the pharmacy still not properlyorganized, is still going on disinformation in controlling the processing system.Where there is a responsible party should be looking for data - data that is requiredevery related party. Thus, this causes the ineffectiveness of time. So the author tries toadvance treatment system which requires that every party concerned is no t directlyreported on the details - details that occurred with the method of collecting data in astructured transaction via an appropriate route assignment

Real property market responses to coastal flooding

    No full text
The high development pressure in coastal areas overlaps with significant natural hazards, such as storm surge related to flooding caused by hurricanes. Because of this, coastal zone management (CZM) becomes more important. Through CZM programs, the federal government has assisted state governments in improving local coastal planning and management. Studies in the implementation and practice of CZM in the United States include: protection of beaches, estuaries; and redevelopment of urban ports and waterfronts. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has developed land use regulations and technical guidelines as part of the coastal management efforts. Another important program to protect real property owners from severe flood damages on their properties is the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Therefore, this dissertation investigates the effects of coastal flooding on the dynamics of real property markets. Within the dynamics of real property markets, stakeholders respond to flooding differently based on their roles and interests. Real property market stakeholders’ adaptive behavior in response to coastal flooding is the interest of this dissertation. The complexity of these socio-economic phenomena interacting with ecological phenomena requires research methodologies that are able to analyze both at the aggregate level and at the micro level. Thus, this dissertation employs spatial hedonic regression pricing models that have been used traditionally in property appraisals, and agent-based modeling (ABM) that has recently gotten into attention among researchers as a tool to explore behaviors and emergences. By using a case study of real estate markets in Monmouth County, New Jersey, this dissertation investigates how these markets respond to coastal flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy that made landfall on October 30, 2012. The resulting hedonic regression analyses find that flood risks are capitalized in real property prices. FEMA floodplain maps are found to inform the prices as suggested in lower prices among floodplain properties than similar properties located outside the floodplain. The findings also suggest that flooding affects real properties based on tenureship. Flooding has more impacts on owner-occupied properties than absentee-owner properties. In an analysis of the flood insurance market, the findings suggest that communities are not well-prepared for flooding, particularly coastal flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy. The ABM modeling outputs explore the non-marginal changes in property prices, which include the stakeholders’ flood adaptation behaviors and the emergence of urban disinvestment and population decline caused by the capitalization of flood risks into real property prices.Ph.D.Includes bibliographical referencesby Handi Chandra Putr

Transparency for Authoritarian Stability: Open Government Information and Contention with Institutions in China

    No full text
Conventional wisdom holds that authoritarian states bear a cost to social stability for disclosing information. This study investigates the effect of an increasingly common transparency initiative in authoritarian countries: open government information (ogi). By publishing policy information, ogi allows citizens to identify illegal government behavior. Drawing from the Chinese case, the author theorizes that although such policy transparency reveals whether governments violate laws, it encourages the use of institutional channels for resolving disputes. By redirecting popular discontent from the streets to institutions, such transparency initiatives foster social stability in autocracies rather than threatening it. Using online and in-the-field survey experiments about ogi on land-taking compensation, the author shows that policy transparency improves citizens’ preference for legal and political institutions and causes them to prioritize institutions over protest when they have grievances against the government. Multiple findings about the mechanisms suggest that policy information increases citizens’ perceived fairness of institutions in resolving their specific cases
